  1. La Ford parteciperà alla prossima Gamescom, la più importante fiera europea dedicata al gaming e tecnologia, che si terrà dal 21 al 25 agosto a Colonia, in Germania. La casa americana presenterà in anteprima un nuovo Ford Performance Car, proponendo ai visitatori una serie di attività tra il virtuale ed il reale. Gli appassionati potranno avventurarsi “on the road” e gareggiare su circuiti virtuali, presso lo stand Ford, nel padiglione 8. Saranno presenti otto postazioni per sfidarsi con lo speciale simulatore di corse in 4D, realizzato appositamente per l’evento, che offrirà un’esperienza di gioco tanto intensa da avvicinarsi a quella reale al volante di un modello Performance Car. Il migliore della giornata tra i piloti virtuali, potrà aggiudicarsi un viaggio nel Regno Unito per trascorrere una giornata con il team M-Sport Ford World Rally.

Dopo i complimenti ricevuti direttamente dalla Ferrari, che ha confermato come i propri progressi siano stati anche merito dell'uso del simulatore, la disponibilità del tracciato stradale e cittadino del centro di Shanghai, una nuova versione aggiornata del circuito dell'Hungaroring ed il video con il possibile tracciato cittadino del centro di Londra, il team di rFactor Pro, software professionale dedicato al training ed all'uso aziendale, ci presenta in un filmato il Ford Performance Racing Simulator. The Ford Performance Technical Center have released a video showing one of their simulators, in this case being used for motorsport engineering development for their GT car programme ahead of last year's Le Mans 24 Hours.

  5. Tramite la pagina Facebook ufficiale, il team di iRacing ha appena confermato l'arrivo per il simulatore americano della nuovissima Ford GT 2017, che vedete nelle foto qui sotto. La vettura, insieme alla nuova Ferrari 488 GTE già annunciata tempo fa, dovrebbe essere disponibile già nella prossima build di giugno del software nella configurazione Ford GT GTE ! JUST ANNOUNCED: The 2017 Ford GT will be coming to iRacing - slated for the June build. Both the Ford and Ferrari 488 GTE have been completed and submitted for approval. Here's the official statement from iRacing President Tony Gardner: "We previously announced that we licensed and that we are building the Ferrari 488 GTE car. What we did not announce but I’m happy to announce now is that we also licensed the Ford GT GTE car that won Le Mans last year. I am also glad to say both cars are completed and submitted for manufacturer approval. That can take a short amount (days) of time or quite a bit of time (weeks). They also could come back asking for tweaks or with questions which delays the process. However our hope is both or at least one car will be in the early June build. If not, we will release upon approval. We also cannot release any videos or photos until approved FYI. Our plans for these cars in regard to the official series is to put both cars in the IMSA series in the same class. We would take the GT3 cars out of that series, the Porsche would stay in the IMSA series. The iRacing Le Mans race starts June 10th. We hope that one or both of the cars are in the initial build or very shortly after so any interested members would have enough time to get in some practice for that race. Odds are quite good that will be the case. We would put one or both cars in the Le Mans race if that is the case, again in the same class. We would likely pull the Ford GT2 car out of the race. Therefore it would be the HPD, the two GT1 cars and one or both of the GTE cars. In the chance we don’t have a GTE car, we would keep the Ford GT2 car in place and still run the race that day.     Author : bobskype Here's the initial release of the RS500. I'm calling it version 0.66, because there's still a couple things I want to tidy up, and also need to implement damage. I've spent a lot of time porting this car over, re-uv mapping the body, fixing textures, dials, ect. I hope everyone enjoys it. CREDITS: -Original mesh: ChongMcBong -Porting, extra fixes, physics: Me -Sounds: Kunos -Testing: Lunae, Marlo0081, Avoletta, Patrik Marek, Jebus, Pankykapus, and anyone I'm forgetting BUGS: -No damage -No gauge or tail lights... Gauge lights didn't look very good to me :\ -The mesh is NOT perfect. I know it's not, I'll try to fix what I can in due time. -Anything else that is an ACTUAL BUG, let me know please. There is a body.psd included in the skins folder. In each skin folder, I've included the AO bake (bodybake.dds) which is the diffuse, and then the metal_detail.dds is for the color. If you want to make a special paint scheme, I suggest using the body.psd and saving it as the bodybake.dds. If you just want a color change, try just changing the metal_detail.dds.
