Dopo un anno di silenzio, l'International Endurance Racing Simulations Team (meglio noto come IER) ha rilasciato per Assetto Corsa la nuova versione finale 1.2 del suo IER Car Pack #1, contenente la Corvette Daytona Prototypes 2014 e la Oreca FLM09 LMPC2015.     24 Ore di Daytona 2018

    La 56esima edizione della 24 Ore di Daytona, prima gara stagionale dell’IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar in programma nel fine settimana, vedrà nuovamente al via la Ferrari insieme ai team clienti. Dopo il terzo posto dello scorso anno in classe GTLM, il Risi Competizione schiererà come di consueto l’unica 488 GTE, mentre in classe GTD saranno quattro le 488 GT3 che verranno gestite da Risi Competizione, Scuderia Corsa e Spirit of Race. La squadra di Houston di proprietà di Giuseppe Risi potrà contare su un equipaggio ufficiale formato da Alessandro Pier Guidi, Davide Rigon, James Calado e Toni Vilander. Gli ultimi due hanno centrato l’ultimo gradino del podio nella passata edizione, mentre Rigon ha colto un sesto posto nel 2016, anno in cui la 488 GTE ha fatto il suo debutto rimpiazzando la 458 Italia GTE. Pier Guidi, invece, è stato l’artefice della vittoria mozzafiato nel 2014 con la 458 Italia GTD del team Level 5 Motorsports. Nella classe GTD c’è attesa per quanto concerne Scuderia Corsa: la squadra di Giacomo Mattioli, orfana di Christina Nielsen, vedrà al volante della 488 GT3 Alessandro Balzan, il ritrovato Jeff Segal, Cooper MacNeil e Gunnar Jeannette. Segal era parte della squadra che vinse nel 2014, l’ultimo trionfo (di classe) ottenuto dalla Ferrari in quel di Daytona. La seconda vettura vedrà un equipaggio formato da Townsend Bell e Bill Sweedler (vincitori nel 2014 con Level 5 Motorsports), Sam Bird e Frankie Montecalvo La terza 488 GT3 sarà quella del team Spirit of Race affidata a un equipaggio che di solito è rivale di quelli Ferrari, formato da Paul Dalla Lana, Mathias Lauda, Pedro Lamy e Daniel Serra. Chiude il novero delle Ferrari la seconda vettura del team Risi Competizione affidata all’esordiente Miguel Molina (pilota ufficiale), a Matt Griffin e ai messicani Santiago Creel, Martin Fuentes e Ricardo Perez De Lara, vecchia conoscenza del Ferrari Challenge. Fra i tantissimi video dedicati a Project CARS 2, oggi vi segnaliamo due filmati in particolare: il primo ha per protagonista Alex Balzan, pilota della Ferrari Scuderia Corsa, che con il sim targato Slightly Mad Studios ci presenta il circuito di Daytona, sulk quale il prossimo fine settimana si correrà la mitica 24 ore. Il secondo trailer invece ci spiega in dettaglio tutti i vari parametri della telemetria in game presenti sul nostro hub di gioco. Daytona 2017 by Terra21 View File Daytona Road Course for AC By Terra21 and Jim Lloyd with Permission From Alex Coutie and is based on his RF2 Track Updated terrain textures with google map image for a more realistic looking grass Added new more realistic lighting around the track added various new textures around track (for eg striped barriers to bring inline with current look, new road details, crowds, etc etc etc) Added both oval and road course layouts Brand new AI lines Dynamic groove inc oval Added new surrounding building and city skyline panorama for more presence Reduced materials as much as possible for a little more performance Crowds and race-day objects can be removed by lowering world detail to high for a track day vibe or just a little more performance New physical mesh PLEASE NOTE : the issue with the barriers on the banks still persists, trust me we have tried everything to solve this issue and there are 100% no holes in the mesh, and from a lot of testing and experimentation we have determined that most problems are caused by mod cars and only at high speeds and more often than not head on collisions with the walls on the banks, as their collision meshes are often done different from default cars, kunos cars seem fine from my testing. L'ultimo messaggio sul sito ufficiale di Project CARS 2 ci presenta il circuito giapponese di Fuji Speedway, che sarà presente ufficialmente, ricreato con tecnologia laser scan, nel prossimo sim targato Silghtly Mad Studios. Tramite la pagina Facebook del gioco scopriamo invece che sarà presente in Project CARS 2 anche il mitico ovale americano di Daytona ! Per commenti e discussioni fate riferimento al forum.

  8. Daytona International Speedway is a 2.5 mile oval. 31 degree banking. It is a conversion from an original scratch built track for Stock Car Evolution. (rFactor 1) The racing surface has been reworked, adding support for Realroad. The AI works well here in the Stockcars. 100% strength is recommended. This is a fill in track until a new 3PA track becomes available (Possibly up to 2 years) This is specifically designed for League use. There are some graphical issues, but the track drives beautifully. For those wanting to race offline, the AI are very good. You just need to be patient, wait for gaps, don't take risk getting out of the draft. The AI are good at 100%, in fact, very good. Anyone who can beat the AI at 100%....Post here!!! v1.03 is first release. v1.2 update Updated lighting. Yellow lights now work correctly. The AI line has been fixed so they pit correctly. The AI line has been fixed so they can now run safely 2 wide and never lift. v1.21 update Attempt at fixing AI. This is a fast setup, there is under 0.1 left to get from what I have seen in online league races.
