We are glad to announce that we extended our partnership with BMW Motorsport and through that we are able to bring you the: BMW M235i Racing With the impressive performance figures, the BMW M235i Racing - a production-based coupé - meets all the basic requirements of a successful entry-level racing car. The car is used in series and events such as the VLN Endurance Championship and the Nürburgring 24 Hours on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The BMW M235i Racing is also successful on international stages for BMW Sports Trophy drivers. The motorsport genes are also easily recognisable in the production version of the BMW M235i Coupé, courtesy of the aerodynamically optimised body design. It is propelled by the most powerful petrol engine developed so far for a BMW M Performance Automobile: a six-cylinder in-line engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology. With a capacity of 2,979ccm, the racing version is capable of generating 333hp (245kW). Motorsport-specific driving aids such as ABS, DSC and traction control provide the required support motorsport newcomers will benefit from. The car also comes with mechanical limited-slip differential, which is also available for the BMW M235i Coupé in the original BMW Parts range. The racing car is also fitted with features such as the FIA-certified safety cell and the modern safety tank. On top of this come components from the BMW M Performance Parts range, such as the rear and front spoilers, diffusor and carbon wing mirrors. http://www.bmw-motorsport.com/en/cars/bmw-m235ir.html fonte R3E forum This post has been promoted to an article

RaceRoom: patch e BMW M235i disponibili

The BMW M235i Racing is a close-to-production coupé, developed by BMW Motorsport. Its regular hunting ground: The Nordschleife. The traction control gives the car a very predictable handling and makes it a good entry-level car. But when you turn it off and push the pedal to the metal, the 333 horsepower strong engine will provide a good challenge. The car comes with a wide variety of liveries, all 100% accurate representations of the real liveries that are used on the racetracks all over the world. But the car looks even more impressive when you take a look inside, and see the steering wheel with the integrated data display. RaceRoom worked together closely with Sorg Rennsport, a racing team that enters the BMW M235i Racing on the Nordschleife, and we managed to implement all of its functions into our simulation. Accurate sound is one of the trademarks of RaceRoom, and in order to get the best representation, our sound designer Anthony Monteil met up with the Duwo team, which entered the BMW M235i Racing at the Hankook 24h race at Paul Ricard, to get the best impression and sound recordings from all angles. The visuals and the sound are important, but what is potentially the most important thing for a simracing enthusiast is that the car is as realistic as possible. In order to achieve that, we have taken some extra steps to ensure that you get the full M235i Racing experience. In addition to the factory data we received from BMW, we worked together with the Duwo team and Sorg Rennsport and collected a lot of telemetry and data which was used for the creation of our virtual version. Data alone isn’t everything; the feeling has to be right as well. For this reason, Oskar Sandberg joined the development team as a beta tester. Oskar has years of experience as a real racing driver, a lot of experience on RaceRoom – and most importantly, he drives the BMW M235i Racing in real life. He managed to claim the victory of the Dubai 24 hours race in the car, and this season he is driving on the Nordschleife. He could give us invaluable in-depth feedback on the behavior of the car that we implemented before the release. We are proud to say: The only way of getting a more realistic BMW M235i Racing experience is driving the actual car. But that won’t be possible for 349 vRP. So get your virtual helmet! New content: BMW M235i Racing BMW M6 GT3 : Bathurst 12H 2017 liveries Game: Lowered default minimum force setting for Thrustmaster wheels. Fixed Slow Down penalty calculations on turbocharged cars DRS no longer deactivates from lateral G’s Changed so game stops reporting error 13 when leaving a game session after only losing a couple heartbeats during the session Change so the pitlane speed information overlay always shows when inside the pitlane. Fixed a case where cars would appear to be hovering above tarmac on pre-race screens. Fixed some data displays showing a ticker counting up to 0 at race starts. Fixed an invalid lap overlay that was sometimes showing without any text. Added a button to view the leaderboards upon finishing a hillclimb run so we could get rid of the non elegant solution of showing the position bar to inform the player of his position. Changed the logic for the “Restart” button in leaderboards & competitions so it no longer purges your best lap and can still show the live time diff to your ghost on the data display. Fixed a message wrongly stating the next lap would be invalidated in Hillclimb runs. Fixed an issue where the HUD elements would sometimes be moved when coming back from an instant replay. Fixed a crash occuring sometimes when cycling through cameras in the pitlane. Game now aborts start-up if no display adapter resolution was found. Multiplayer: Added a dedicated server setting to set a latency limit (in milliseconds). Any player caught consistently above that limit will be automatically booted. Added a dedicated server setting to force the race to end after a set time (in seconds). When set to OFF, the server will always wait for a race winner. Fixed an issue where the dedicated server would sometimes not wait for late joiners to complete their loading sequence and proceed to next session anyway. Fixed a case where disconnected players would sometimes remain visible on the HUD track map. Sounds, Cameras, Physics & AI: All cars: new external gearshifts added. All cars: Adjusted suspension sounds. All cars: Road Noise is now pure of any chassis sounds. Increased trigger sensitivity of bump samples. Audi TT cup : Increased AI respect for other cars space Mercedes 190 DTM 1992 : New sounds Opel Omega DTM 1992 : New sounds Hockenheim : fixed a harsh cut detection on the right hander entering the stadium area. Nordschleife : Tweaked AI speed in Carousel. Spa-Francorchamps : added some fly by cameras Portal & Backend: Added Team information on player profile and leaderboards. Free content is now visible again in store. Art: Lada Vesta 2017: Fixed an interior window texture Nürburgring : modified the font of the Porsche tagline on the GP pitwall. Spa-Francorchamps: Resurfaced to reflect current asphalt, small fixes and tweaks.

    Bmw M6 GT3/GTLM

    Version 1.0

    621 downloads

V1.00 comes with the 2 version of the Bmw M6 race car, the GT3 version and GTLM Version. Further technical characteristics of the BMW M6 GT3 are the drive concept, six-speed sequential racing transmission, and high-performance motorsport electronics. The aerodynamic properties of the chassis have been optimised in the BMW wind tunnel. The engineers worked meticulously to fine-tune the BMW M6 Coupé, which formed the basis for the new car and was already perfectly suited to outings on the racetrack. The GT3 version of the BMW M6 had to be modified for the GTLM version, in order to comply with the ACO regulations which apply in the GTLM class of the IWSC. Even while developing the GT3 car, BMW Motorsport already took into account the changes that would be required to make it possible to start in the GTLM class. That made it considerably easier to derive the GTLM car. The BMW Motorsport engineers have been working closely with the BMW Team RLL – BMW works team in North America since 2009 - in Munich to implement the modifications as efficiently as possible. Unlike the BMW M6 GT3, the BMW M6 GTLM must not have ABS. At 1,250 kg when empty, the BMW M6 GTLM is also about 50 kilograms lighter and has a slightly longer wheelbase. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - The Bmw M6 GT3 will appear on Vehicle selection under "GT3 World Series" - The GTLM Version will appear Vehicle on selection under "Simtek Bmw GTLM" - The cars have different physics and different feel, lap times are consistent with real cars! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: 3D model - HQModel Textures/mat work/physics - Gpfan Sounds - Lukas Möllmann Skins: GTLM skin: Terra21 Super GT & Australian skins : mickeyfff Simtek@2017 http://www.rf2.simtek.pt/

    PRD BMW Z4 GT2 M Coupe

    Version 1.0

    270 downloads

Author : ScarfaceHood The basic car (BMW Z4 M Coupé GT) comes from SimBin Development Team AB (GTR Evolution). I have optimized and adjusted the whole thing, to a GT2 version. I'm a good fan of the GT2/GTE class, but I think there are just not enough cars. Things done by me: • Optimized materials and material settings for better graphics. • Proper splitter, wing and front diffuser have been built. • A bit of a different cockpit. • Created whole new physics for the car, suspension, aerodynamics, dimensions etc. • New engine and gearbox. • Bigger tyres with more grip. The car's virtual specifications are: • BMW N52B30 3.25 litre inline 6, 4 valve DOHC • 485 bhp @ 8200 rpm • 442 Nm @ 5750 rpm • A dry weight of 1145 kg. • Ratios to around 290 kph. • A rev range from 8400 to 9000 rpm. • Tire sizes of F: 295/705 x18 and R: 325/705 x18. • A wheelbase of 2493 mm and a track of F: 1700 mm and R: 1600 mm. The supsension dimensions/positions are fixed, to get them as real as possible. • A length of 4141 mm, width of 1974 mm and height of 1200 mm. • Front overhang: 861 mm, rear overhang 786 mm. • Undertray parameters, which should match the real car by 95% (95% because of the splitter, diffusor and floor changes). I have done a lot of time consuming research of the real BMW Z4 M Coupé GT and did my best to get the car to the standards I like. I searched for everything possible to get the car's real specs, implemented them into the game and adjusted them to GT2 levels. Also a lot of testing on a many different tracks and development went into this mod, since the idea of it. I expect the needed respect for this mod and don't want to see any work of mine getting messed up. Instructions: - • To use the mod, simply extract the GameData folder to your GTR2 folder and let things be overwritten. • Make sure that you keep the original folders in the .zip file, to get everything to work properly (diagrams etc.). • The used sounds are all GTR2 standards with a few .aud file adjustments, so no complicated researches are needed. • Nothing of any original game content will be overwritten. • You can find the car in game under Specials -> Bavarians, otherwise simply change the class line. • In case your machine is not strong enough to handle the 4096x.... .dds files, I recommend to turn off the high-res textures in the graphics menu, or simply delete the ULTRA_TEX.GTR in the car's folder. • There is an optional clean version of car #22, if you prefer that one, simply copy the two .GTR files of the folder to BMW Team PRD. • Templates are included, should explain itself, but if you want to paint a car please only use body style 1 or 2. 3 and 4 have individual masks. Genstring help: - GenString=12345 <1> - wheels (1 - BBS RE1319 silver, 2 - BBS RE1319 white, 3 - BBS RE1319 black, 4 - BBS E87 silver/gold Pirelli, 5 - OZ-Racing Alleggerita HLT black Michelin) <2> - body (1 - standard body, 2 - optimized body) <34> - driver styles <5> - cockpit (1 - cockpit for standard body and with shfit stick, 2 - cockpit for optmized body and without shift stick) Known bugs: - • In some situations the cockpit windows *can* cause some track textures to look incorrect. On top of this come components from the BMW M Performance Parts range, such as the rear and front spoilers, diffusor and carbon wing mirrors. http://www.bmw-motorsport.com/en/cars/bmw-m235ir.html fonte R3E forum

    PRD BMW Z4 SP

    Version 1.1

Author : ScarfaceHood PRD BMW Z4 SP Coupé v1.0 for GTR2 - The basic car (BMW Z4 M Coupé GT) comes from SimBin Development Team AB (GTR Evolution). I have optimized and adjusted the whole thing, to a VLN Specials version. Things done by me: • Optimized materials and material settings for better graphics. • Proper splitter, wing and front diffuser have been built. • A bit of a different cockpit. • Created whole new physics for the car, suspension, aerodynamics, dimensions etc. • New engine and gearbox. • Bigger tires with more grip. The car's virtual specifications are: • BMW N52B35 3.5 liter inline 6, 4 valve DOHC • 530 bhp @ 8300 rpm • 496 Nm @ 5750 rpm • A dry weight of 1250 kg. • Ratios to around 300 kph. • A rev range from 8500 to 9100 rpm. • Tire sizes of F: 300/680 x18 and R: 370/705 x18. • A wheelbase of 2505 mm and a track of F: 1670 mm and R: 1586 mm. The suspension dimensions/positions are fixed, to get them as real as possible. • A length of 4218 mm, width of 1996 mm and height of 1200 mm. • Front overhang: 918 mm, rear overhang 795 mm. • Undertray parameters, which should match the real car by 90% (90% because of the splitter, diffuser and floor changes). The VLN car has a little different specs: • BMW S62B50 4.9 liter 90° V8, 4 valve DOHC • 530 bhp @ 7000 rpm • 610 Nm @ 4000 rpm • A dry weight of 1275 kg. • A rev range from 7200 to 7800 rpm. I have done a lot of time consuming research of the real BMW Z4 M Coupé GT and did my best to get the car to the standards I like. I searched for everything possible to get the car's real specs, implemented them into the game and adjusted them to SP7/8 levels. • You can find the car in game under Specials -> Bavarians, oi if you have a VLN/24h Nürburgring mod you'll find them there, otherwise simply change the class line. • In case your machine is not strong enough to handle the 4096x.... .dds files, I recommend to turn off the high-res textures in the graphics menu, or simply delete the ULTRA_TEX.GTR in the car's folder. • Templates are included, should explain itself. Genstring help: - GenString=12345 <1> - wheels (6 - BBS E87 silver Bridgestone Potenza, 7 - BBS E87 black Bridgestone Potenza) <2> - front bumper (1 - standard, 2 - with endurance lights) <34> - driver styles Known bugs: - • In some situations the cockpit windows *can* cause some track textures to look incorrect/shine through. 22. Fonte. Here is the first public version 1.0 of the BMWE90 WTCC0608 for rFactor2. Let me explain some more: 1. I want to call this version an "update to rFactor2" of the "evergreen" great mod made by Raceskinning.de starting by the 3D made by Thome and under his permission 2. My intention in managing it, was to let the essence of the mod itself, without changing the feeling in driving these cars, but at the same time improving and enhancing the features in those areas where rFactor2 uses its new technology like the flexible chassis, the new deformable tire structure, the new integrated gear, new shaders, etc... 3. I toke the decision to change only the default setup to have a car easier to drive and more performing, localcams views, seat adjustment and tires!!!! 4. About tires I spent a lot of time (but without having the necessary skill to manage the TGM files and +ttool at a pro level...) to reach my goal: Qualify Tire with high performances but very very sensitive in degradation more than in the "pure" wear, great for a couple of laps only; Race Tire for a lasting performance where aggressiveness in driving can be allowed but without sliding too much or spinning; Wet Tires very closed to the original ISI coefficients. Also AIs performances with Talent file seems to be at a good level, also if AIs do not mount Qualify Tire (not my fault) Changelog v1.1 - changed some coefficients following the new available technology of rFactor2 - fixed a graphic issue into the dashboard using HDR - “cutted” a little slice at the bottom of the front bumper to avoid (partially) to touch the ground, off road - tuned max speed for AIs closed to the humans - new talent files for all classes following new ISI specifications - tuned braking system - added option to personalize suites of each driver – standard rF2 driver (DRIVER) - added option to personalize specific BMW E90 helmet of each driver (EXTRA1) - pay attention for window… you must use WINDOW and duplicate the content to EXTRA0 too Many thanks to the several persons that gave me help, technical suggestions and support during the development. I hope you will enjoy the mod! DOWNLOAD - TEMPLATE And, thanks to ISR, a server and GETMOD option are already available!
