La Big Ben Interactive ha annunciato lo sviluppo del nuovo WRC 5, che sarà disponibile per PC e consoles. WRC 5, che segue il filone dei titoli precedentemente creati dalla Milestone, sarà realizzato dalla Kylotonn con l'ausilio del Kt Engine HD. Ecco qui sotto il primo trailer di annuncio. Kylotonn Games ha rilasciato una nuova patch per la versione PC di WRC 5, la 1.06, che risolve vari problemi: aggiunte le vibrazioni del pad, supporto al Thrustmaster T80, alla Fanatec Clubsport Pedals V2 quando collegata ad una presa USB supplementare, respawn nello stage Svezia corretto, le classifiche non cambiano più dopo aver visualizzato un replay , corretto il bug dell'audio del copilota dopo aver visualizzato un replay. Le prossime patch si concentreranno sulla risoluzione dei problemi di stuttering e refresh del monitor. Per le versioni console, gli sviluppatori assicurano che sono in lavorazione e arriveranno presumibilmente nei prossimi giorni, occorre infatti seguire la fase di certificazione, che richiede più tempo. Presto avremo il changelog completo.

Kylotonn Games ha pubblicato una nuova patch per la versione PC di WRC 5, che arriva all'aggiornamento 1.05. La patch aggiunge il supporto per il triplo schermo e i volanti Logitech G25 e Driving Force GT (inspiegabilmente dimenticati...), vari fix e lo switch alle DirectX 9. La casa francese sta lavorando alacremente anche sulle versioni per consoles del gioco, concentrandosi sui miglioramenti alle performance e il supporto ai volanti. Al momento non ci sono indicazioni sulle date di uscita, ma non dovrebbe passare molto tempo per il rilascio.

Dopo il trailer pubblicato pochi giorni fa arriva anche una nuova serie di immagini per WRC 5, il racing game di rally con licenza ufficiale. Il gioco, sviluppato da Kylotonn e pubblicato da Bigben Interactive, si presenta con uno spirito alquanto arcade, con una certa attenzione nella riproduzione dei danni delle auto e degli effetti di questi sulla guida.

The FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) is one of the most challenging motorsport adventures, which pits drivers and production-based cars against some of the toughest and most varied conditions on the planet. WRC 5 naturally becomes the perfect link between drivers and players, between real rallies and virtual driving, encapsulating the excitement generated by these two different worlds. The eSports WRC Championship will begin alongside the 2016 WRC season in January and more details about the competition will be announced in the coming weeks. “A great online experience is one of the most requested features expected by WRC fans. Video game publisher and distributor Bigben Interactive, and French racing game developer Kylotonn Games, are happy to announce that WRC 5, the official 2015 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) game, will be available between October 9th, 2015 and October 16th*. WRC 5 will be available for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system and Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 4, Playstation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC. WRC 5 will be the first rally game to land on new-generation consoles, as well as previous generation, and will offer players the chance to wear the gloves of all the WRC drivers as well as those from the WRC 2 and Junior WRC support categories. Below is the final list of crews, teams and cars included in WRC 5. The FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) pits drivers and production-based cars against some of the toughest and most varied conditions on the planet. In 2015, the roads on this epic motorsport adventure are spread across 14 countries, with 13 rallies on everything from snow packed forest tracks to rock-strewn mountain passes. Bigben Interactive e Kylotonn Games ci presentano il primo trailer di anteprima in game del nuovo WRC 5, titolo con licenza ufficiale FIA World Rally Championship 2015. Il filmato, catturato dalla versione beta attuale del software, ci mostra Sébastien Ogier con la sua Volkswagen Polo R WRC impegnato sullo sterrato del rally del Portogallo. Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn Games present the first gameplay video of WRC 5, the official 2015 FIA World Rally Championship game, scheduled for release in autumn 2015 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PC. Made from the Beta version of the game, it features Sébastien Ogier and his Volkswagen Polo R WRC on the mythical roads of the Vodafone Rally de Portugal. It presents a full stage made of 90% gravel and 10% asphalt, under sunny conditions at mid-day. In this video, some elements are not final or are missing. The Head Up display (HUD) or audio and visual pacenotes are not present as teams are still working hard on these points in order to provide the best rally experience ever seen in a videogame. Information will come later about pacenotes and how the job has been done to ensure the highest level of precision.
