Features CNC laser cut stainless steel ultra-strong, stiff and durable construction No wearing potentiometers or sensitive hall sensors Load cells on all 3 pedals for excellent durability and linearity with no moving parts 12 bit (4096 step) electronics (actual range depends on pedal travel and desired brake force) Adjustable travel by independently adjustable ‘up’ and ‘down’ stops Adjustable damping on all pedals Greatly adjustable pedal feel and required effort Adjustable pedal face ‘upright’ angle -3, 0 and 3 degrees Adjustable pedal height in 5 steps for foot size 5 to 13 Solid individual cables from pedal to electronics box This post has been promoted to an article

    H-Shifter by Niels Heusinkveld

Our H-Shifter prototype is holding up well so far. Fingers crossed!
  6. We’re happy to announce that in a couple of weeks we will start offering a new version of our pedal system: the Sim Pedals RaceCenter Edition. This product is specifically aimed at companies working with simulator systems which are used by the general public at events, expos etcetera. Although many design elements of our proven Sim Pedals Ultimate and Sim Pedals Pro are carried over to this new product, an effort has been made to design a pedal set with a minimum of moving parts while maintaining more than sufficient options to adjust the pedals. Apart from being able to adjust the brake strength in multiple stages, the pedals can be angled in three steps in order to simulate Formula-cars, GT-cars or regular street cars. The end-result is a bulletproof system which will allow you to keep your commercial simulator up and running with minimal worries of swapping pedal sets or replacing parts parts when you are at an event. A first set of prototypes is being tested at this moment, we expect the pedals to be ready for ordering through our shop in a few weeks. Clients who wish to acquire a pedal set for a high-end professional motorsport simulator should still consider our Sim Pedals Ultimate. Simracing enthusiasts looking for a high-end pedal set for their home simulator system are in most cases best served by our Sim Pedals Pro. When in doubt which version suits your needs best, send us an email. fonte Heusinkveld Engineering
  7. Hi! This is a ... different ... mod for Game Stockcar Extreme: 1:8 scale racing and drifting with realistic (scaled) physics! This doesn’t mean the cars themselves are exact copies of real Radio Control (RC) cars though, they have believable but imagined properties. It is a physics experiment that got out of hand. Previously the only RC mod, for rFactor, MadCowies excellent work, used 1:1 scale cars as the physics where believed not to handle vehicles so light. This made me curious and as you can see, they work just fine with real weights and dimensions. Physics are fun! Scaling down a car 8 times, makes its length 8 times smaller. Aerodynamics apply on area which is 8x8 times smaller. Mass is a function of volume which is 8x8x8 times smaller. You end up with totally different car behavior because of this compared to full sized cars, yet they are still just small racing cars with all the bits and pieces we know and love. This also means they are fun to drive! Thanks to Laurents Hoerr for the circuit and Patrick Giranthon for the awesome circuit and bow to Siim Annuk and David Sabre for scaling down the Toyota Supra and BRM Can-Am car respectively and then allowing me to release all the models! And thanks to Todd Wasson who, over the years, helped me out on some of the general specs and properties of these small cars. This mod is NOT an official Reiza Studios product. It is a fun experiment that you may or may not enjoy, that’s all! Installation I’m assuming you know how to use Windows and extract zip files. Just extract in your main Game Stockcar Extreme folder and I assume you know where to find that. The mod is a new race ‘series’ you can find clicking the left / right arrows in the main menu to switch cars until you find the ugly and stretched image of a 1970s Can-Am racing car. Game setup - Try an analog gamepad - Use a mixture of speed sensitivity (50%) and reduced axis sensitivity (25%) for starters - Driving aids are untested - AI probably doesn’t work so just do private testing - Only drive in TV cam (page down is the default key). A few different zoom levels are available - Adjust the speed sensitivity, axis sensitivity and garage ‘steering lock’ to get your personal preferred car steering sensitivity - Don’t start with the faster cars!
1080p 60fps may take a while for youtube to process.. Technically a bit late for the holidays but if you think this may be your thing, try out some 1:8 scale racing and drifting for Game Stockcar Extreme! This is n ot an official Reiza thing! Download the mod: http://www.mediafire.com/download/uupaaaaplrjzyfg/GSCE_RadioControl_v1.zip Intro Hi! Game Stock Car Extreme tyre model

The tooling shown in the video has been developed in-house by Heusinkveld Engineering and is similar to what we use for other modelling projects based on the rFactor1 engine. Recent other project include an Euroformula Open (F3) car, Formula Renault 1.6 and Formula Renault 2.0.
Next to the hardware projects, we also have various software modelling projects going on. One of the main projects is physics modelling for Game Stockcar Extreme by Reiza Studio’s. Building proper physics is a highly complex task which requires an extensive understanding of the physics engine. On his personal Youtube-channel, Niels has posted a video explaining different aspects of tyre modelling within the physics engine of Game Stockcar Extreme. HE Sim Pedals: primo test

They're alive! And awesome! This is a sock free zone. At 30kg / 66lbs, the clutch is heavier than most (so called) 'pro' sim pedals. I used roughly 60kg / 132lbs brake effort in this video, using the 'soft' rubbers. It can do up to 120kg / 264 lbs, which is the peak value you see in some real racing cars. The weight loss compared to the previous pedals is amazing, they feel like a totally different set, much more responsive, greater travel adjustability and a much more 'race-y' look. No audio as the rig and shifter are very noisy, which would make it seem like the pedals are noisy, which they aren't.. More videos in the future, this is a very 'first preview' kind of thing!
