    Nuova patch per F1 2015

    Here's a run-down of what the patch contains... Game Added a session list screen which is available via the Multiplayer menu. This screen will allow players to search for all public sessions and join the one they want to. Custom and Hopper sessions will be visible on this list. Multiplayer fixes and improvements: Added additional information to lobbies so players can see how much progress has been made in the current session. Parc ferme rules are no longer incorrectly applied so players will not get their fuel locked to 100kg in qualifying or not be able to change their tyres at the start of a race if they qualified outside the top ten. Fixed an issue that would cause a players car to always be ghosted during timed qualifying sessions. Fixed framerate and lag spikes causing incorrect collisions. Fixed a bug that meant connections with limited upload bandwidth would appear laggy while on track and eventually disconnect. Disallowing Brake Assist will no longer also block ABS. Cars will no longer ghost when driving too slowly on track. Fixed a bug which made the screen pulse black when spectating specific cars in specific circumstances. Minor hopper improvements and changes Removed the AI from all hoppers. Removed the assist restrictions from the Hardcore hopper. Made the countdown timer longer and prevented it from starting for a short time if there are not many players in the session to try to allow more people to join. Changed the grid order to random from realistic. So now the players Mercedes cars will not always start on the front row. Updated the Feature Race to Brazil. [*]Removed the incorrect second DRS detection zone from the Mexico mini map. This was not present in the actual track data. [*]Corrected the number of laps for the Mexican Grand Prix. [*]The player is now correctly disqualified for not using both compounds in a dry weather race. [*]Improvements to AI behaviour in Qualifying: AI will no longer all leave the garage at the same time. AI will no longer use Prime tyres in Q2. AI will always do two runs in Short Qualifying and Q3. [*]Fixed the flashing rear tyre issue present on some PC setups. [*]Made the D-Pad menu more responsive to use. [*]Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause OSD messages to remain on screen or to never display. This was mostly reported online but can be seen offline too. [*]Fixed an issue that would cause new tyres to be too cold when they’re put on at a pit stop. [*]Fixed a problem that could cause unrealistic lap times in practice and qualifying. Sports Updates – Part 1 Adjusted the relative performance of the teams and drivers based on the season’s results so far. Updated the tyres for Russia to Super Soft and Soft. High End PC Enhancements New CPU-driven particle effects to improve visual quality on systems with high-end CPUs. Select “high” or “ultra” particle effects from the options menu. Increased audio voice counts for systems with high-end CPUs. Select the “high” audio quality setting from the option menu. Improved CPU performance for users with 6 and 8+ cores. Improved CPU performance for Intel CPUs with Hyper-Threading Technology. Optimised performance for Intel integrated graphics chips.

Sempre il portale Red Bull, in occasione del lancio odierno in Italia del nuovo F1 2015, ha pubblicato una interesssante intervista in italiano fatta a David Greco, noto simdriver italiano e car handling designer (ovvero responsabile della fisica delle vetture) del titolo Codemasters. Ecco qui sotto un estratto dell'articolo, voi cosa ne pensate? Negli ambienti anche più ortodossi del sim racing si mormora che “F1 2015” costituisca una svolta nella serie grazie anche, se non soprattutto, al tuo apporto: dicci perché, sempre sia vero. «“Formula 1 2015” è diverso semplicemente perché sviluppato per le console della generazione più recente, e già solo questo permette di sfruttare molta più memoria e ottenere performance migliori, in grado di garantire maggiori fluidità e nitidezza non solo a livello grafico. Le nuove piattaforme permettono di utilizzare al meglio tutto, compreso il motore fisico, che dà più profondità all’handling delle vetture e genera un force feedback molto più dettagliato. Aver portato al team di F1 della Codemasters tutta la mia esperienza sul campo e aver lavorato con un paio di programmatori di grande talento come Matthew Banks, per il force feedback, e Tamas Strezeneczki, per il modello dei pneumatici, ha di certo migliorato i dettagli che andavano migliorati per quanto riguarda la fisica».

    La Codemasters ci concede oggi qualche altra immagine di anteprima del suo prossimo F1 2015, titolo con licenza ufficiale del mondiale di Formula 1 che sarà disponibile in Italia a partire dal 9 Luglio. Sempre da oggi è anche possibile effettuare il preordine del gioco tramite il sito ufficiale, ma non sono previsti bonus per chi acquista in via anticipata.

    Mercedes W06 2015 v1.1 by Formula Corsa

    Il team Formula Corsa ha rilasciato per Assetto Corsa la nuova versione 1.1 della sua spettacolare Mercedes W06 Hybrid 2015, monoposto che tanti successi sta ottenendo nel mondiale di Formula 1 con Hamilton e Rosberg. Vi ricordiamo di non perdere anche gli altri mods creati dal team Formula Corsa, ovvero il Formula Fantasy 2014 Season, il GP2 2014 Season e la Williams FW31, mentre altri lavori sono in fase di sviluppo.

    Il team francese F1Ligue ha rilasciato come promesso per Assetto Corsa la nuova versione 2.0 del suo Formula 1 2015 Mod, progetto che ci permette di simulare l'attuale stagione del mondiale F1. Numerose le migliorie e novità apportate da questa release, compreso un nuovo volante con display 2015 ed attivazione del KERS, – SETUP default (wider setting panel) – CORRECTION OF VALUES BASE – CORRECTIONS AERO (Diffuser) – corrects oversteer the rear axle (light, the range between the low & high speed was too broad and posed problems during deceleration when entering low-speed curves) – WHEEL F1 (KERS added gauge)

Con il lungo comunicato (accompagnato da alcuni screens) che potete leggere qui sotto, la Codemasters ha finalmente annunciato ufficialmente l'arrivo del suo prossimo F1 2015, unico titolo con licenza FIA del Mondiale di Formula 1. Il gioco sarà disponibile a giugno su Xbox One, PlayStation 4 e PC. Da segnalare che David Greco, vecchia conoscenza del simracing italiano ed ora dipendente della Codemasters, ha commentato cosi su Facebook: "I can confirm, the handling is something quite nice, very good new tyre model!", ovvero "posso confermare, la guida è buona, ottimo il modello delle gomme". Possiamo quindi sperare? We know a lot of our fans wanted to play F1 TM 2014 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, so as well as being the official videogame of the 2015 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP we’re also including the cars, drivers and tracks from the 2014 season as bonus content. All built from the ground up with our updated handling and new game features. Here’s what Game Director, Paul Jeal had to say about the game - “F1 2015 marks an exciting new chapter for Codemasters and FORMULA ONE; it’s a shift in direction for the game series, on new formats and our brand new game engine, with the game set to be released earlier in the season, launching this June,” The handling is a vast improvement from our previous games. In particular our new tyre model is a superb step forward towards realism, letting you explore where the limit is and allowing you to instantly feel much more connected with the car. You can now experience the changes in grip caused by temperature changes, wear, car set-up, debris and weather conditions. Our improved vehicle dynamics much more accurately convey the difference in performance and the feel between mechanical and aerodynamic grip. The new Force Feedback system adds to the feeling of connection with the car and track surface.     Primi screens per F1 2015

    Dopo lunga attesa, ecco finalmente spuntare i primi screens di anteprima del prossimo F1 2015 della Codemasters, titolo con licenza ufficiale FIA Formula 1 che dovrebbe arrivare su tutti i formati nella prossima estate. Com'è evidente, le immagini sono state "rubate" nel corso di qualche evento di presentazione, quindi non sono di alta qualità.
