  2. Hey, been working on this track on and off for the last few weeks learning the different material settings. It isn't perfect as there isn't enough info about at the mo and examples but non the less this track was created around 5 years ago for Rfactor and it went Hall of Fame so I thought it would be a good choice.   4. fonte AC forum I started building this infamous city course, from skratch, no conversion. I basically am a absolute beginner with trackmodeling. For quite a time I "dreamed" of being able to create tracks, like the country roads around my house etc. But never made the step into it.. Since I realized (because of the kn5 exporter before the editor came out) that modeling isn't actually that ultra hard, I made the step and learned quite a few things the last weeks. So I thought I give it a go with the Norisring. The reasons I choose it are: - I live 15 minutes away from it - Can take real pictures - Small track - Few corners - Quite flat terrain - Basically surrounded by guardrails For me it seems like an easier track to do. Anyway, don't expect anything big or quick. I also created the thread to keep me motivated Here is a first WIP picture:

    Assetto Corsa: Nordschleife v1.0

    Ormai sono ogni giorno di più i mods e gli addons di qualità per Assetto Corsa: da non perdere certamente questa mattina è la nuova versione aggiornata 1.0 della pista del Nurburgring Nordschleife convertita da Snoopy, decisamente ottima per aspettare la versione ufficiale del tracciato in laser scan che sarà creata dalla Kunos Simulazioni. Se siete alla ricerca di vetture o circuiti extra per il sim di Casillo, potete fare riferimento al comodo topic riepilogativo !   8. Fonte. v0.2 DOWNLOAD Changelog: Everything! Problems: There is still trouble with the AI, they will avoid a large block of the straight. Turn on AI editor to see what I mean. I had major troubles with not being able to exit or enter the pitlane, it was either that or the AI troubles. I cannot get the qualifiying to work with the AI, maybe somebody can work on a pitlane.ai? They just bump in the back of each other and don't exit the pit normally. I've tried a few different pitlane AI file-recording approaches, but I don't seem to get it right. It might just be the surfaces problem. Todo: This version is still using the huge filtering. See how much at the tunnel under the straight. The 4 meter drop influences the road by 12.5cm at a distance of 2.5 meters. Now I can change the heightmap and everything will change accordingly, no need to edit the meshes afterwards. So expect a bit more detail in the road and a bit less wavy-ness in the 0.3 version. A lot of trackside stuff on the straight is missing, it is not that important at this stage. This version is all about the road and surfaces, so tell me what you think. The 'cardboard plants' was my first attempt at transparency, they will be updated, or changed completely. About the release they are planning: That will be another zandvoort, this is my version and I will try to release a 1:1 copy for other racing games. Oh well, enjoy. And tell me about framerates!

Work on the track has continued over the last week while I was on Spring break, and despite the fact I've been busier than I expected with real life, I think it's time for a public beta. Here's a screenshot of turn 1 with a bunch of 'vettes, which by the way, have the wrong number of stars on the US flags on the doors of over half of them. Have fun!

  17. First I need to say something to lower your hopes, I just learn how to use AC sdk, my 3D skills aren't top notch and I never made a track (tf2 maps are the only game modding things I made). Until now I didn't manage to made much, but I have something (I saw OPs with less in them) and feedback is good fuel to work. So now, the track. What I want to do is highway to go fast and I could end my post here . It's 100% fictional, I don't have any plan just make new chunks of it and think of new ones.. It's not going to be whole pedal to metal straight road but 150km\h gonna be minimum speed, maybe. fonte AC forum
  18. Fonte. so smooth, almost perfect, and that's just one example. I also fixed the kerbs, they were way too aggressive, now you can actually use them + some texture upgrades. There still are some issues like the mountain on the right between turn 4 and 5 and some corners need more polys judging by the white lines but those are details that wont take much time so from here it's pretty much downhill meaning barriers and tire walls should be back like tomorrow and then the actual progress will begin. nuova beta 0.55

Ciao a tutti. è una pista che creai qualche anno fa per rfactor con il programma Bob track builder (con la versione demo quindi in poco tempo e vari xpack contenente oggetti vari presi qua e la, ma mai finita) che ho provato a convertire per Assetto Corsa La pista è basata su alcune strade della città dove abito, in cui nel '34 e '35 si è corso realmente (Breve resoconto storico). Doveva essere di circa 2km ma per l'inesperienza col programma ho sbagliato la dimensione dell'immagine di riferimento e, quindi, la pista è diventata di 4km. Per la mancanza di oggetti come case per BTB (che era uscito da poco) ho fatto alcune piccole modifice al layout originale ed è diventato un circuito vero e proprio. Alla fine l'ho rifatta da zero con Blender. Download v5 v5 changelog: - Ottimizzazione delle prestazioni - Nuove texture per asfalto e muri in cemento - Rielaborate le texture e la normal map della muraglia per ridurre l'effetto "piastrelle" - Aggiunto la gommatura sulla fast line - Nuova Texture in alta definizione per il Paesaggio - Rimosso gli Alberelli sul paesaggio per sostituirli con una fitta boscaglia per dare profondità alla texture Problemi conosciuti - La bascaglia sul paesaggio Lampeggia se vista da lontano, ma non nel Photo Mode e dalle Telecamere TV (purtroppo non è risolvibile perché è un problema di AC.
