    RaceRoom update con Sonoma

    Il team Sector3 ha rilasciato un nuovo update per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience: oltre ad alcuni bugfix, è disponibile anche il nuovo tracciato americano di Sonoma. La pista californiana, nota anche col nome di Infineon Raceway, è disponibile nelle sue 4 diverse configurazioni, usate per le gare Indycar, Nascar e WTCC ed è possibile acquistarla per 499vRP, ovvero 5€. And RaceRoom is back up. Unfortunately we are experiencing some issues with Multiplayer Servers so they will be down for few more hours Emoticon frown.     Il team Sector3 ci mostra oggi alcuni nuovi screens di anteprima del prossimo update per RaceRoom Racing Experience, che ci metterà a disposizione la nuova classe GTR2, con nuove livree ed aggiornamenti alla fisica.

    RaceRoom: gustose novità in arrivo...

    Dopo l'update rilasciato ieri, il team Sector3 non sta certo riposando e ci mostra oggi con alcuni video le interessanti novità in arrivo per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience: ecco quindi un nuovo modello di trasmissione, il circuito di Sonoma (qui sotto), le funzionalità del server dedicato e le possibilità di creare il proprio campionato personalizzato.

    RaceRoom si aggiorna

    Il team Sector3 ha rilasciato oggi un corposo aggiornamento per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience, inoltre ha presentato in video il nuovo Hillclimb Pack, un pacchetto con vetture e tracciati pensato per gli appassionati delle cronoscalate. Da non perdere poi il video che vedete qui sotto e che ci presenta le novità che arriveranno nelle prossime settimane, tra vetture WTCC 2014, circuito di Sonoma, la Cadillac ed altro ancora.     R3E Open Championship Statistics

    As you can see at this full sample website it generates for every race: Driver Standings Team Standings Vehicle Standings (if more than one vehicle type) Best Lap Times How it works Run the ".exe" file, it should bring up a very simple program that you keep running while doing singleplayer races in R3E. The program tracks edits to "My Documents/My Games/SimBin... raceresults.txt" which contains the results of the last completed race (no matter what kind of race it was). Based on the content of the file a unique "championship" is created (hash based on starter-field). That means if you choose always the same starter-field config (vehilce class and number of opponents) in your single player race, it shall treat it as a single championship For every completed race, the results are appended to the championship file (a simple text file storing the results for every race) and a HTML file is generated with the current standings, see image above It is an "open" championship, as none of the settings are really frozen (AI...), you can keep going and mix tracks however you want, a pseudo championship based on your single player races. Simply delete the appropriate database lua file in the "results" directory to start fresh again.

  9. Il team Sector3 ha annunciato il rilascio gratuito del nuovo circuito di Portimao (in ben 4 configurazioni diverse) per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience. Sono inoltre in arrivo, sempre gratis, anche nuove vetture extra.
  10. Dalle ceneri del team Simbin, nasce ufficialmente oggi, come già preannunciato da tempo, il nuovo Sector3 Studios. La nuova software house ingloba praticamente in sè quasi l'intero defunto team svedese e continuerà ad occuparsi del già noto RaceRoom Racing Experience (che sarà aggiornato a breve) e dei suoi vari "cloni" a supporto, tipo ADAC GT Masters o DTM Experience. Verrebbe quasi da pensare che si tratti esclusivamente di una manovra di tipo "contabile", la speranza è comunque che il Sector3 sappia farsi apprezzare come ha saputo fare per tanti anni il gruppo Simbin.     R3E: FIA WTCC Macau Grand Prix

    Con un messaggio su Facebook il team Sector3 ha annunciato una novità a sorpresa: oltre allo sviluppo dell'imminente DTM Experience 2014, la software house svedese sta lavorando anche alla reallizzazione dell'affascinante e temibile circuito cittadino di Macau, dove si corre la gara del WTCC e della F3.     Il team Sector3 ci propone un nuovo video dedicato al suo RaceRoom DTM Experience 2014: questa volta possiamo ammirare il confronto diretto fra il simulatore e la realtà del circuito di Oschersleben, che per l'occasione è possibile acquistare con lo sconto del 30%.

    R3E: Carlsson SLK340 disponibile

    Il team Sector3 ha reso disponibile per l'acquisto una nuova vettura aggiuntiva per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience: si tratta della Carlsson 340 SLK Judd, vettura preparata specificatamente per le gare di salita. Procurati l'ultima auto da corsa della FIA E1, la Carlsson 340 SLK Judd. Questa incredibile Mercedes-Benz, adatta alle strade di montagna, è pronta per incendiare l'asfalto. Scatena i 610 CV della Judd lungo i 10,5 Km del tracciato RaceRoom Hillclimb, fai rombare il motore e fatti un giro, per poi tornare indietro.

    New Features - Test Drive. Test any car for free. - Time of Day. Choose different time of day settings from sunrise to sunset to change the mood of your session. - Wheel Range in Car Setup. The game now automatically detects and sets the ideal wheel range for a car based on your wheel and its settings in the driver. This can also be manually changed in car setup.     R3E: WTCC update in video

    Il team Sector3 ci mostra un interessante video di anteprima dedicato al prossimo update in arrivo entro ottobre per RaceRoom Racing Experience: il trailer focalizza l'attenzione in particolare sulle varie auto del WTCC 2013, in azione nei vari orari della giornata, che potremo impostare a piacere. L'upgrade implementerà anche nuove utili opzioni per i volanti, con i gradi di sterzo e lo steering lock dedicato per ogni tipologia di vettura.

    R3E: scegliamoci l'orario...

    Il team Sector3 ha annunciato oggi tramite Facebook una novità interessante che arriverà con il prossimo update per RaceRoom Racing Experience: oltre al già noto pacchetto del WTCC 2013, sarà infatti implementata la possibilità, per ciascun tracciato, di poter scegliere fra 5 diversi momenti della giornata (e quindi orari) per andare in pista, con le relative conseguenze su visibilità, temperatura, aderenza dell'asfalto e cosi via. With the next update you will be able to select different Times Of Day for each track. For the first iteration there will be 5 time of day settings available, ranging from early morning to late evening. More news on the next iterations of this feature to follow at a later date!

    Dopo aver rilasciato l'ultimo ed apprezzatissimo update per il suo raceRoom Racing Experience, che ha portato con sè svariate migliorie e novità, come ad esempio l'addon ADAC GT Masters, il team Sector3 continua a mostrarci le immagini di anteprima del nuovo update in fase di sviluppo, che ci metterà a disposizione il campionato FIA WTCC della stagione 2013: oggi è il turno della Honda di Tarquini, della Chevrolet Cruze della Lada.
