Il DRM Modding Team ha annunciato il prossimo arrivo per Assetto Corsa del suo già famosissimo DRM Revival Mod che tanto successo ha avuto nella sua versione per rFactor (qui sotto il video). Potremo quindi apprezzare nel simulatore Kunos il campionato Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft degli anni 70' - 80', con le mitiche vetture gruppo 5, come Porsche 935, Ford Zakspeed Capri, BMW 2002 Turbo... Il mod per rFactor 2 è stato invece annullato.

Innanzitutto un chiarimento per i neofiti: un "mod" (abbreviativo dell'inglese modification, modifica) per un qualsiasi gioco, non è altro che una modifica, un'aggiunta, una miglioria, apportata da volenterosi e capaci appassionati del gioco stesso. Nel caso di titoli racing, si tratta spesso di auto e vetture aggiuntive, ma anche extra a livello grafico, fino ad arrivare a vere proprie features aggiuntive, non presenti nel gioco originale.
