  1. Il buon Piboso ha rilasciato la nuova versione definitiva ed ufficiale, denominata "release 2", del suo Kart Racing Pro, simulatore di guida dedicato al mondo del karting. La nuova release 2, non più beta quindi, fra le tante novità, migliorie e fix, ci mette a disposizione il nuovo telaio di marchio MS Kart e lo spettacolare circuito belga di Genk, sul quale si è disputata recentemente la prima gara del campionato Europeo KZ/KZ2 ! The bodywork mods should be updated. Also, the seats and fuel tanks now have their own folders and dedicated texture. Overall, the changes unfortunately made all the old paints not compatible anymore.     Novità per Kart Racing Pro

    Vi segnalo alcune interessanti novità dedicate al Kart Racing Pro targato Piboso, al momento l'unico vero simulatore di guida per il mondo del karting. Sono disponibili infatti la nuova versione 2.0.8 del MaxHUD Display, utility che implementa varie informazioni a schermo e la release 1.16 del MaxTM Telemetry, che ci mette a disposizione un tool completo per l'analisi della telemetria. Al momento è disponibile la versione beta 16 di Kart Racing Pro, ma Piboso prevede di rilasciare a fine giugno la nuovissima release 1, che fra le altre cose, includerà un nuovo telaio e lo spettacolare tracciato di Genk (nel video qui sotto).

Pur trattandosi ancora di una versione beta, il rilascio è decisamente importante, in quanto, oltre ai vari bugfix e migliorie consuete, ci offre novità importanti, come ad esempio la possibilità di connessione diretta in LAN, il pieno supporto al TrackIR e al visore per la VR di HTC Vive.     Vroom ci mostra Kart Racing Pro in video

    Il noto mensile Vroom, dedicato al mondo del karting, ha realizzato un interessante filmato per mostrare le qualità simulative del Kart Racing Pro targato Piboso.     KartKraft in ritardo, ma si lavora

    With an incredible response to the game during the entire CBT period, we've received highly detailed feedback and suggestions that we've been able to include in the weekly CBT releases. From the Force Feedback, Physics, Lighting, UX and UI, Wheel support, Triple screen support and overall level of performance, there's not one component of the game we haven't worked on and improved; with over 1600 fixes/features/improvements made during the past 10 weeks. The CBT has also highlighted some key features and performance issues on lower end hardware that must be fixed before we release #KartKraft. Thus we have decided to extend the CBT period and release date by approximately 8 weeks to ensure KartKraft meets and exceeds your expectations on Day 1, even as an Early Access game. We will make a further announcement to confirm the exact release date in the coming weeks. We will also be increasing the number of testers in the CBT and sending out additional waves beyond the initial allocation to make sure more of you are able to participate in the testing. (Those who were part of Thursday's Beta wave who are still having issues redeeming your Steam Key, please expect an email with an updated key on Tuesday next week. We are currently working with Valve to resolve the issue.) Finally, to those who are still awaiting a response to their recent emails and messages, please expect a slight delay in receiving a reply.     Il team Black Delta ha confermato tramite social network che la fase di closed beta del suo KartKraft sta andando avanti secondo quanto previsto. Sono stati inoltre pubblicati alcuni screenshots inediti di anteprima. Hi Guys, A quick update on ‪#KartKraft‬ and the Closed Beta Test as well as some brand new screens from the CBT. The second wave of keys went out last week to those players who were selected based on their experience, hardware and gaming profile.     L'inarrestabile Piboso ha rilasciato la nuova versione Beta 14 del suo Kart Racing Pro, imperdibile simulatore dedicato al mondo del karting, arrivato proprio ieri anche sulla piattaforma Steam Greenlight. Come si legge dal lungo changelog, oltre ai consueti bugfix, troviamo anche interessanti novità in questa ultima release, come la possibilità di danneggiare l'assale (ben nota ai kartisti!) e notevoli migliorie nel comparto multiplayer, che potete provare direttamente sui nostri server dedicati. While for some this can create a whole standalone simulation, it is merely one of many vehicle types we offer to our users as a free download. If you haven’t tried them yet, be sure to give them a try with this updated version! Download here! (Requires up-to-date build of rFactor 2). Physics (both Karts) – New tires which have enabled the contact patch model for the first time. – Added new wet weather variables for tires. – Numerous AI correlation tweaks. AI warm tires quicker, wear slower and more evenly (F/R). – Reduced inertia for wheels and engine. The wheels were set conservatively due to instability, an issue which new, more accurate tires have are the result. – Reduced axle and gearbox friction to what should be a more accurate level. – Softened undertray collision points which makes the kart more realistic and controllable over tall curbs. – Fixed geometry bug that went unnoticed that was caused by a build bug fix (which was improperly defined in the previous kart release, and has been corrected for Builds 860 and newer). – Tweak to reduce some ‘hopping’ experienced in certain extreme situations. Physics Junior Kart specific – Engine engine has more low end torque. Combined with other changes, it now accelerates a lot better from standstill. Physics KartF1 specific – Increased grip to correspond better with the class of tyre this is simulating. UI – Changed category name in-sim from ‘Kart Cup’ to ‘Karts’. – Camera offset to match steering wheel. Graphics – Updated shaders – Updated textures – Minor 3D fixes The contact patch model is still not fully complete, but at a sufficient point now. It is still lacking some lateral and longitudinal variability due to temperature / pressure and the lat/long deflections are still slightly over sensitive under extreme conditions when patch is extremely small. Dopo il rilascio delle piste di Ortona e Sarno, il Karting Tracks Project dedicato a Kart Racing Pro procede a ritmo serrato: il nostro Laurents "Lauzzzn" Hörr sta ora lavorando allo sviluppo dello spettacolare tracciato del Adria International Raceway, che potete ammirare in questi nuovi screens e video di anteprima che mostrano i progressi fatti fino ad oggi.
