L'ormai ben noto modding team ungherese degli RFT, ha finalmente rilasciato per rFactor 2 una prima versione del suo atteso F1RFT 2013 Mod, progetto ormai consueto che ogni anno ci permette di simulare la stagione in corso del Mondiale di Formula 1. La particolarità di quest'anno è che il team si è dedicato per la prima volta esclusivamente all'ultimo nato in casa ISI. Il team IPM ha appena mostrato questi due ottimi render della Ferrari F138 appartenente al loro mod FSONE 13. Tradizionalmente lavorano su rF per cui posto le immagini qui, ma ancora non ho la certezza che sia per questa piattaforma. Questo messaggio

Il talentuoso modder zonder ha pubblicato tre nuovi render della monoposto su cui è al lavoro, la Ferrari 156 del 1961. Come si può vedere dalle immagini qui sotto, i dettagli non mancano e già da ora la vettura si preannuncia come una delle più interessanti sotto il profilo grafico tra quelle in fase di lavorazione per rFactor 2. Non ci resta che sperare in una fisica all'altezza del comparto visivo, così da ritrovarci con un piccolo capolavoro. -

Le edizioni pubblicate saranno due: una contenente solo la stagione 2013, l'altra intitolata Classic Edition che presenterà invece anche interessantissimi contenuti storici (acquistabili singolarmente a parte da chi abbia inizialmente acquistato la versione base). Con un annuncio su Twitter, la Codemasters ha confermato che la versione Classic Edition del suo F1 2013, quella contenente anche le annate storiche della Formula 1, sarà lanciata su PC esclusivamente in versione digitale (ovvero via Steam) e sarà pre-ordinabile già 6 settimane prima del lancio. -

Il team International Pro Modding ha pubblicato nei giorni passati due nuovi render di anteprima del loro già attesissimo mod FSONE 13 per rFactor e rFactor 2. La prima vettura ad essere mostrata completa di texture è la Ferrari F138, seguita a ruota dal modello 3D della RedBull RB9. A breve dovrebbero essere svelate anche McLaren e Renault. -
È disponibile da qualche tempo una nuova revisione del firmware per il volante di punta di Thrustmaster, il T500 RS. Uscito inizialmente come volante ufficiale per Gran Turismo 5, ha presto trovato molto consensi anche tra i piloti virtuali che guidano su PC. L'aggiornamento 41 aggiunge la compatibilità al volante Ferrari 458 Challenge messo in vendita di recente ed include tutte le migliorie introdotte dai precedenti update. Per la sua installazione potete utilizzare l'apposito software del volante: onde evitare di commettere errori seguite con attenzione la guida disponibile a questo link. -
Il team ungherese RFT ha rilasciato per rFactor2 la nuova versione demo 2.0 del suo F1RFT 2013 Mod: questa volta il dimostrativo ci permette di girare sulla pista dell'Ungaroring con la Lotus, Caterham e Marussia. Dettagli, download e commenti sul forum dedicato. -
Il team F1-S-R ha rilasciato per rFactor una seconda versione demo del suo attesissimo F1 1992 Mod release 2.0: per utilizzare questo secondo dimostrativo, utile al team per affinare il testing del mod completo prima del rilascio, è necessaria la prima demo, in quanto questa seconda aggiunge solo la McLaren di Senna e un update della fisica by SDERENNO. Gli appassionati piloti virtuali di rFactor possono finalmente gioire: il team F1-S-R ha infatti finalmente rilasciato il nuovo dimostrativo della versione 2.0 in sviluppo dell'atteso F1 1992 Mod! La demo contiene tre vetture, ovvero la Dallara, Jordan e Lotus in versione 107A e 102D, inoltre c'è anche la possibilità di testare l'RFPlugin (per avere il meteo con la pioggia!), scaricando le piste di Mid-Ohio e l'Old Ring in versione "Wet". Il team è diventato famoso per i suoi ottimi lavori sul primo rFactor, per cui è lecito attendersi che il mod verrà rilasciato sul suo successore. Non ci sono ancora certezze in merito, tuttavia. Questo lavoro va ad aggiungersi agli altri che hanno in cantiere, ottimi per riprodurre l'intero weekend di Formula 1: GP2 e GP3.

E' stato presentato da poco in maniera ufficiale il mod Formula 1 2008 da parte degli MMG. Se la qualità sarà la stessa della BMW 08, ci sarà da divertirsi! Here are some screenshots of the clay models of some of the cars we have already done. First up is the Toyota 2008 Car modeled from scratch as all MMG 2008 Cars are. Modeled by Koen, whom you all would already know from his days at RH and FSOne. Next two screenshots are the front and back views of the Honda 2008 Car modeled by MMG Modeling Director Raymond Schram And last screenshot is of the Scuderia Toro Rosso modeled again by MMG Modeling Director, Raymond Schram.
