Il team Formula Corsa Modding ha finalmente rilasciato per Assetto Corsa la prima versione 0.91 beta del suo attesissimo GP2 Series 2014 Mod, un progetto che ci permette di simulare la combattutissima ed affascinante stagione attuale del campionato monomarca GP2, vera anticamera per la Formula 1. Oltre al mod, FCM ha reso disponibili anche un pacchetto di skins grafiche in bassa risoluzione ed i vari templates della vettura. Tutti i dettagli, download e commenti a questo link del forum. Interessantissimo poi il parere di Raffaele Marciello, che corre proprio in GP2 col team Racing Engineering ed ha provato il mod: ok , i tried that mod , the car is not so bad . in fast corner the car is quite good , really similar , what i can say , in real i have more traction out from slow corner , more rear grip in entry of slow corner, and more power brake ( here its to easy to lock the front ) but for a start is really good ! i will try 0.91 now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=HIkGSMTNmtw

Ormai sono ogni giorno di più i mods e gli addons di qualità per Assetto Corsa: da non perdere certamente questa mattina è la nuova versione aggiornata 1.0 della pista del Nurburgring Nordschleife convertita da Snoopy, decisamente ottima per aspettare la versione ufficiale del tracciato in laser scan che sarà creata dalla Kunos Simulazioni. Se siete alla ricerca di vetture o circuiti extra per il sim di Casillo, potete fare riferimento al comodo topic riepilogativo ! Fonte. Its possible that many of you didnt even heard of this street circuit wich had a verry small lifespan. Some might know it and even play it in rF or other SIMs...The quality for the MOD in those times was good for most of us,but at today standards its not enough. So i thought i should give it a try and revive this track in Assetto Corsa. The work started from zero...custom 3D objects and textures (as far as i`ve gone at this time) The road and kerbs textures are just placeholders to guid me.At this point only the fences has a good texture. Let me start with some pictures of the work in progress. First I need to say something to lower your hopes, I just learn how to use AC sdk, my 3D skills aren't top notch and I never made a track (tf2 maps are the only game modding things I made). Until now I didn't manage to made much, but I have something (I saw OPs with less in them) and feedback is good fuel to work. So now, the track. What I want to do is highway to go fast and I could end my post here . It's 100% fictional, I don't have any plan just make new chunks of it and think of new ones.. It's not going to be whole pedal to metal straight road but 150km\h gonna be minimum speed, maybe. fonte AC forum

La loro Corvette Daytona Prototype raggiunge la versione 0.2.1 e risolve alcuni dei problemi riscontrati nella prima versione. Disponibile in due versioni (guida a sinistra e guida a destra), già da ora ha riscosso pareri più che positivi da parte di chi l'ha provata. GPLea Crystal Palace for Assetto Corsa V1.0 Converted by Tonto from RFactor1 with kind permission from Ken (MotorFX) using 3DSimEd, 3Ds Max and Kunos Simulazione Editor 20 pitboxes and AI all working. Not sure about the pit lane though Timing seems to work NO working Map No Cameras Tested for for bugs, for some reason it will only load 6 Lotus 49's. Other Cars seem fine, I may have missed a few other bugs DOWNLOAD

La Kunos Simulazioni ha pubblicato su Facebook un breve comunicato per aggiornare gli utenti riguardo lo sviluppo del suo Assetto Corsa: il prossimo update del simulatore sarà disponibile il 18 Luglio e, come principale novità, porterà con sè la mitica Lotus 98T ! Hello AC followers, gradually we are getting closer to the release candidate version of Assetto Corsa: the next update should already include some changes to the graphics engine that will allow us to test the overall compatibility, although you might not see any new effects until the new algorithms will prove to be stable. More details will follow soon. The next update of Assetto Corsa Early Access is scheduled for 18th July and it should include the long awaited Lotus 98T. As already known, Assetto Corsa AI, utilizes the same physics model used by the player. With more than 1000 horse power and tons of downforce produced by this amazing grand prix car, the AI finds it very challenging keeping a proper racing line. The reasons will be clear to you too, when you will try staying on track while driving this unbelievably fast and “raw” racing car. We are working to improve AI interactions and hopefully we'll be able to include the Lotus 98T in next update and include AI enhancements to the sim. A big "thank you" to all those people who join the Early Access program every day. You help us to constantly improve Assetto Corsa : Your support is amazing and we really want to thank you, so we are investing in new content, new licenses and even more importantly, new people, hiring developers able to cover strategic positions in our company that will allow us KUNOS Simulazioni and Assetto Corsa, grow stronger and more efficient and capable.

Please feel free to report all bugs found, give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, opinions, and as always, feel free to donate (link on website) Also feel free to make youtube videos/first looks on the car (no proper reviews please as it is still beta). But you MUST link to the acusccmod.weebly.com website in the description of your video (or in the actual vidoe of course). Current known issues: The model is equivalent to the 2nd LOD, the first one will be much smoother around the edges, and nicer to look at, so keep that in mind. And there isn't really an interior yet..... The AI are wonky. If @Aristotelis could give me an explanation of the .ini for the AI via PM that'd be awesome (I'd add it to the physics questions database as well) There are NO LODs at the moment, so the car will be much more taxing on your PC than any of Kunos'. We hope you enjoy the first originally created car for AC! Car (full download with skins - unzipped 720 MB, zipped 62 MB) TEMPLATES note: the body template should be saved as: body_unwrap.dds.
