Open Championship Statistics è una utility non ufficiale per il RaceRoom targato Sector3, che permette di estrapolare i vari risultati dalle gare online in modo da potersi organizzare in sostanza il proprio campionato o stagione personalizzati, cosa che non è possibile fare dal software. Il funzionamento, come spiegato di seguito, non è difficile e richiede semplicemente il lancio dell'utility prima delle gare. AboutThis is a small tool that parses the raceresult file from R3E and generates a tiny database and a html report for a championship based on multiple single race events. It is not supported nor in anyway endorsed by the creators of R3E. As you can see at this full sample website it generates for every race: Driver Standings Team Standings Vehicle Standings (if more than one vehicle type) Best Lap Times How it worksRun the ".exe" file, it should bring up a very simple program that you keep running while doing singleplayer races in R3E. The program tracks edits to "My Documents/My Games/SimBin... raceresults.txt" which contains the results of the last completed race (no matter what kind of race it was). Based on the content of the file a unique "championship" is created (hash based on starter-field). That means if you choose always the same starter-field config (vehilce class and number of opponents) in your single player race, it shall treat it as a single championship For every completed race, the results are appended to the championship file (a simple text file storing the results for every race) and a HTML file is generated with the current standings, see image above It is an "open" championship, as none of the settings are really frozen (AI...), you can keep going and mix tracks however you want, a pseudo championship based on your single player races. La nuova software house ingloba praticamente in sè quasi l'intero defunto team svedese e continuerà ad occuparsi del già noto RaceRoom Racing Experience (che sarà aggiornato a breve) e dei suoi vari "cloni" a supporto, tipo ADAC GT Masters o DTM Experience.     Con un messaggio su Facebook il team Sector3 ha annunciato una novità a sorpresa: oltre allo sviluppo dell'imminente DTM Experience 2014, la software house svedese sta lavorando anche alla reallizzazione dell'affascinante e temibile circuito cittadino di Macau, dove si corre la gara del WTCC e della F3.     R3E: Carlsson SLK340 disponibile

    Il team Sector3 ha reso disponibile per l'acquisto una nuova vettura aggiuntiva per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience: si tratta della Carlsson 340 SLK Judd, vettura preparata specificatamente per le gare di salita. Procurati l'ultima auto da corsa della FIA E1, la Carlsson 340 SLK Judd. Questa incredibile Mercedes-Benz, adatta alle strade di montagna, è pronta per incendiare l'asfalto. Scatena i 610 CV della Judd lungo i 10,5 Km del tracciato RaceRoom Hillclimb, fai rombare il motore e fatti un giro, per poi tornare indietro.

    Il team Sector3 ci mostra un interessante video di anteprima dedicato al prossimo update in arrivo entro ottobre per RaceRoom Racing Experience: il trailer focalizza l'attenzione in particolare sulle varie auto del WTCC 2013, in azione nei vari orari della giornata, che potremo impostare a piacere. L'upgrade implementerà anche nuove utili opzioni per i volanti, con i gradi di sterzo e lo steering lock dedicato per ogni tipologia di vettura.

    R3E: scegliamoci l'orario...

    Il team Sector3 ha annunciato oggi tramite Facebook una novità interessante che arriverà con il prossimo update per RaceRoom Racing Experience: oltre al già noto pacchetto del WTCC 2013, sarà infatti implementata la possibilità, per ciascun tracciato, di poter scegliere fra 5 diversi momenti della giornata (e quindi orari) per andare in pista, con le relative conseguenze su visibilità, temperatura, aderenza dell'asfalto e cosi via. With the next update you will be able to select different Times Of Day for each track. For the first iteration there will be 5 time of day settings available, ranging from early morning to late evening. More news on the next iterations of this feature to follow at a later date!

    Come promesso, il team Simbin ha rilasciato tramite Steam un corposo aggiornamento per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience: l'update porta il software alla nuova versione beta 2.3, con moltissime novità, migliorie e bugfix in tutti i settori del simulatore. AI: Fixed an issue with Adaptive AI where the data was storing when restarting or quitting non race sessions. Adaptive AI: Added default AI difficulty values for each difficulty. If there is no previous AI data on a track, the default values will be used which differs based on difficulty now. Fixed an issue with Adaptive AI where an interpolation issue could occur if the average performance difference between two AI were too small. Fixed an issue where AI would return to pits on the lap before the last lap, if the player wins the race with overlap. Portal, In-Game Browser, Online Protocol Increased timeout time for online protocol communication which should reduce the timeout issues some users are having.     Il team Simbin ha rilasciato un corposo aggiornamento per il suo RaceRoom Racing Experience. L'update apporta migliorie e bugfix praticamente in tutti i comparti del gioco. Per il download non dovete fare altro che lanciare Steam ed attendere l'upgrade del software.
