La Techland ha comunicato che sono giàstati realizzati dai modders i primi tracciati extra per il prossimo Xpand Rally, che saràdisponibile a partire dal 24 settembre: i circuiti sono giàtre, ovvero uno sullo sterrato dell'Arizona fra i canyon, il secondo di tipo destruction derby con vari salti ed il terzo un triovale basato sul Daytona Speedway (alcuni screenshots). Xpand Rally eXpands - NASCAR and DESTRUCTION tracks
Techland has informed today that first maps made by "modders" for its mod-friendy upcoming rally racer are ready. All modding enthusiasts and car racing games fans should watch for:
- dirty racing track - 100% gravel, eight-shaped, many obstacles to be omitted, placed in Arizona canyons;
- destruction derby track - 100% tarmac, eight-shaped, narrow turns and short straights, spectacular crashes highly possible at the crossing;
- NASCAR tri-oval – based on the DAYTONA INT'L SPEEDWAY track.
Especially the oval should be very interesting as, like the author says, it is based on the real track dimensions. Front and backstretches lengths, turns banking, length and radius are accurate.
While testing the track at Techland the strongest XR cars (power around 730 PS and torque up to 1000 nm) were able to race at 190mph (305kmh), what gives the exact feeling of this sport dynamics and hazard. Techland promised to make all custom tracks accessible at www.xpandrally/chromed as soon as they’ll be tested for game quality compliance.
