Patch 1.04 is out now on PC, and coming to Xbox and PlayStation® very soon. Check out what's in this patch below:

Addressed an issue where users would experience a corrupt save if they edited their vehicle's livery from within the MyTeam HQ. Saves that were previously corrupted as a result of this bug will be able to be resumed after applying the patch.

  • Improvements to DLSS implementation.
  • Resolved a crash that could occur after returning to a ranked lobby if the lobby had split.
  • Addressed an issue where players could be split into a placeholder lobby when re-matchmaking in ranked.
  • Rebalanced Prologue and chapter 9 of Braking Point on Hard difficulty.
  • Addressed a crash when previewing items within the Podium Pass.
  • Addressed a crash when Player 2 quits in Two-Player Career Player career while Player 1 is in an interview.
  • Addressed a crash with UDP if the number of active cars was zero.
  • Addressed a crash when editing colours of customisation items.
  • Addressed a crash that could occur when saving an F2™ highlight from Grand Prix mode.
  • Addressed an issue where Two-Player Career could be locked to equal performance.
  • Addressed an issue where players could be placed on sub-optimal tyres during an F2™ Sprint race.
  • Addressed an issue where the game could briefly stall when passing the start/finish line in one-shot qualifying.
  • Addressed an issue where only the lobby host would be notified that the Virtual Safety Car was ending.
  • Added option to select Ray Tracing quality on PC.
  • General stability improvements.

Patch 1.06 is out now on PC and PlayStation®, and coming to Xbox very soon. Check out what's in this patch below:

  • Addressed an issue where there could be no force feedback on Thrustmaster wheels if task manager was open in the background in Windowed mode.
  • Addressed an issue where force feedback would not be active on Thrustmaster wheels when launching from a desktop shortcut.
  • Audio will no longer stutter when connecting an official Xbox headset into the controller.
  • Quick Practice will no longer cause excessive wear to components.
  • Addressed various issues with online session connectivity on Xbox.
  • Addressed high GPU usage on loading screens during Braking Point.
  • Ghosting is now set to on in Ranked sessions.
  • “League Racer” achievement/trophy can now be correctly unlocked.
  • MFD will now pop-up after receiving minor damage.
  • UDP: LapHistoryDate will now be correctly sent for an active car after another has retired.
  • Addressed a potential crash while using photo mode.
  • Addressed a potential crash during broadcast sequences.
  • Track surface will now appear correctly for player 2 in split-screen during a wet race.
  • On-track VFX can no longer be seen by other drivers in F2™ one-shot qualifying.
  • 3D Audio for headphones has temporarily been disabled on PS5. This will be re-enabled as soon as audio issues relating to it have been resolved.
  • Car performance can now be changed after creation of a league.
  • Mid-season driver negotiations have been removed from the first season of a Real Season Start career.
  • Improved feedback given when haptic feedback is set to weak on PS5.
  • Addressed an issue where the Emirian flag could be displayed on the podium instead of the Turkish Flag.
  • Tyre wear can now be viewed on the MFD during the formation lap.
  • Rebalanced chapters 1,3,5,9 and 12 on Normal difficulty in Braking Point.
  • General stability improvements.

  • Addressed an issue where Xbox users could fail to join an online session with error WS10004
  • Re-enabled 3D audio for PS5 headsets and addressed the underlying issue
  • F2™ races that finish due to the 1-hour time limit no longer result in the incorrect positions being awarded
  • Fixed an issue where driver stats were reset to baseline stats and not taking upgrades into consideration
  • Addressed an issue where players could start a lap ahead at certain tracks
  • Distort sponsor will now correctly pay out the sponsor bonus after achieving the goals
  • Driver name filters have been updated for career
  • Addressed an issue where audio could drop out during an extended play period
  • The vehicle halo will no longer have low shadow resolution
  • Fanatec advanced paddle module top paddles will now be correctly recognised
  • Addressed an issue with saturated characters in the background of meet the press sequences with HDR enabled
  • Closing the game during the season transition in MyTeam no longer results in the user having no team name, engine supplier or sponsor
  • Viewing a highlight or replay after a race no longer causes game resolution to change on ultrawide screens
  • Addressed an issue where users could have negative resource points
  • DRS Beep audio level has been increased
  • AI will no longer overtake the safety car when it is ending
  • Collision setting will now be retained if changed between sessions
  • Addressed an issue where the ERS deploy setting could display “To Do”
  • UDP: m_resultStatus no longer shows as active after the race has finished
  • UDP: Correct number of laps now shown in final classification
  • UDP: Session history information from previous session is no longer sent following a restart
  • UDP: LapHistoryData will now be correctly sent for an active car following a retirement
  • On-Demand leagues can now turn AI reserves off
  • Very Short has been added to the session length filter in social play
  • Ability to hide the menu when customising camera settings has been re-added
  • Added quality options and sharpening slider for DLSS
  • Rebalanced chapters 3, 5, 9 and 12 on Challenging difficulty in Braking Point
