In leggero ritardo rispetto al solito, Reiza Studios ha pubblicato il nuovo Development Update del mese di Novembre relativo al suo Automobilista 2 in fase di sviluppo.

Le novità in arrivo previste per il simulatore brasiliano sono numerose e particolarmente interessanti, come il circuito belga di Spa, la cui versione moderna arriverà già in Dicembre e le mitiche vetture di classe GT1 dell'annata 1990.

Il team Reiza inoltre, ha rilasciato un nuovo aggiornamento per il suo Automobilista 2. L'update via Steam porta il simulatore brasiliano alla nuova release 1.0.6.1 correggendo svariati bugs e sistemando alcune problematiche, come da elenco sottostante:

Automobilista 2 has now been updated to v1.0.1.1 - this is a hotfix to complement the latest release with some further improvements & fixes to new features / content.

Regarding Spa-Francorchamps DLC

We apologise for the ongoing unavailability of the standalone Spa DLC on Steam - we have already requested Valve´s support to address it and expect it will be sorted soon (by Monday at the latest). In the meantime it is still possible to acquire the track as part of the Premium Track Pack, or the complete 2020-2021 Season Pass.

Reiza ci mostra oggi un trailer in game con gli ultimi sviluppi di Automobilista 2 nella prossima v1.1.0.4, che includerà un profondo aggiornamento del tracciato di Spa Francorchamps recentemente rilasciato, inclusa illuminazione notturna, linee AI più veloci e prestazioni migliorate.

L'update includerà anche ulteriori revisioni estese alla fisica degli pneumatici e della trasmissione, nonché nuovi sviluppi nel comportamento dell'IA, incluso un rilevamento molto migliore delle auto più lente che dovrebbe rendere le gare multiclasse più competitive.

Automobilista 2 has been updated to v1.1.0.4 - this is a substantive complementary update to the release from two weeks ago, the highlights being several improvements & corrections for Spa, new tire & driveline physics developments along with some new AI logic that should greatly improve their skill dodging traffic in multiclass races.
Please note that while there is no need to delete your Automobilista 2 settings folder in this update, several cars require a setup reset to default to receive some of their latest adjustments as marked in the changelog below.

V1.1.0.4 CHANGELOG

  • Reduced pit speed limit of historical classes from 120 km/h to 100 km/h to minimise issues with AI overshooting its pitbox

Automobilista 2 has now been updated to v1.1.0.5 - this is a hotfix to further complement our latest release with some additional improvements and corrections.
The update is large in size (1.6GB) because of a build error changing the checksum of some large files that have otherwise remained unchanged - we apologise in advance if that causes any inconvenience.
