[rFactor 2] F1 2020 by Real Series Simulation

Hey everyone!

If you started watching our work from the last year you may not know that our first projects was about Formula 1. So today we're glad to announce that we will made F1 2020 mod for rFactor 2!

With best physics, great looks and proper sounds we will try to create best possible 2020 season Formula 1 experience in this year! Mod will contains one 3d-model with 2020 season liveries.

Visuals and physics are almost done so we will start our testing programm soon for Factory Drivers (and higher) so stay tuned for some news in our Discord channel!

Don't worry: GT3 and GT4 cars are waiting for Andrea and we will push hard to finish Honda and F1 cars physics soon and start GT cars testing program

Just my impression ( maybe wrong ), but tyres are resembling the old ones from 2016. I mean that tyre width ( especially looking at rear ones ) are too narrow.

Actual F1 tyres, featuring in width 305 and 405 mm in front and rear treads, are appearing larger in common real images or in other RF2 mods

E' stata un'attesa snervante, ma finalmente ora tutta la pazienza portata in questi mesi sarà ripagata! Dopo un lungo e meticoloso lavoro di sviluppo, il team Real Series Simulation ha rilasciato la versione definitiva 1.0 di uno dei suoi mod più attesi per rFactor 2, quello che replica in tutto e per tutto la stagione 2020 del Mondiale di Formula 1.

L'annuncio è arrivato oggi con un post sul canale Patreon ufficiale del team, il quale poi ha anche rilasciato un video trailer in cui si può vedere il mod in azione. Le sue caratteristiche? Innanzitutto è capace di replicare l'intera griglia del Mondiale 2020, con una vettura basata sulle performance 2019-2020 delle vetture reali; la fisica, inoltre, è stata bilanciata in modo da poter disputare gare complete al 100% con il pieno di carburante fin dalla partenza.

Per il sound è stato scelto il V6 Turbo della Mercedes, mentre a livello di shader sono stati utilizzati gli ultimi aggiornamenti in fatto di corpo vettura, tyre model e force feedback resi disponibili dallo Studio397.
