VELOCIPEDE
FERRARI ESSENTIALS PACK The fourth and final expansion pack for Project CARS 2, the Ferrari Essentials Pack, is now available as a standalone purchase, or as part of the Project CARS 2 Season Pass. Complete your journey into the heart of Ferrari with eight essential cars from Maranello and race them all at Ferrari’s mythical test-track at Fiorano, or on the high-speed turns of the Mugello Circuit, and discover the essence of performance that is the soul of the Prancing Horse. Live all the passion of Maranello’s motorsport legacy around Ferrari’s very own test-track, the Pista di Fiorano, and follow in the wheel-tracks of the Scuderia’s greatest racing legends. Fuel your adrenaline around the thrill-a-second, high-speed turns of the Mugello Circuit in eight irresistible Ferrari icons that capture all the performance, exhilaration, and decades of sporting excellence that make the Prancing Horse the world’s most cherished racing icon. Dominate in sportscar racing with the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, a full-blooded racing legend that overwhelmed the competition in the ’50s and ’60s scoring three overall wins at Le Mans and three World Championship of Makes titles. The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa was the last hurrah for an entire generation of purebred racers-the final, beautiful, epic aria of an opera that Ferrari had first begun back in the heady days of the Golden Age of motorsport in the 1930s and that reached its crescendo right at the end of the 1950s with this very car. Then get behind the wheel of one of the world’s most dominant GT-racers, the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta, and discover why this car could not be beaten: The 5,500km-long tour de France? The 250 GT Berlinetta finished that first, second, and third in 1960. The 24-Hour of Le Mans? The 250 GT Berlinetta finished first, second, third, and fourth. The 1,000KM at the Nürburgring? 250 GT Berlinetta. The 1000km of Monza? 250 GT Berlinetta. The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps? 250 GT Berlinetta, two years in a row. Tourist Trophy? 250 GT Berlinetta. The oval at Montlhéry? 250 GT Berlinetta. The 12 Hours of Sebring? 250 GT Berlinetta. The 24 Hours of Daytona? 250 GT Berlinetta. Hillclimbs, rallying, endurance and sprint races, and even drag racing in the US? The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta-a GT runner that won it all. Then tame the raw power of the banshee-wailing, fire-spitting Ferrari 512 BB LM — an F1-derived V12 mid-engined racer that singularly defined the look and the ethos of the late 1970s: Big engines, big horsepower, big aero, and big noise. Then explore the limits of the final car Enzo Ferrari ever created, the peerless Ferrari F40 — an elemental supercar that embodied decades of Ferrari’s motorsport experience and iconic design with the purity of a machine that came with no aids, dollops of turbo-charged power, and a simple desire to thrill like no other. Feel the cut-and-thrust of spec’-racing at its finest in the Ferrari F355 Challenge that built the reputation of the one-make Ferrari Challenge series-the go-to championship for fun, bumper-to-bumper racing action in the last street-legal, 6-speed-manual, road-based race car Ferrari ever built. And finally, complete your drive into decades of Ferrari passion with no less than three of today’s most essential supercars from Maranello: The track-only Ferrari FXX K with over 1,000hp, neck-twisting amounts of downforce, and the fastest non-racing Ferrari to have ever lapped Ferrari’s official test-track at Fiorano-almost six full seconds faster than the “standard” LaFerrari on which it is based: The irresistible Ferrari 458 Speciale A, for many the most complete supercar in the world: And the snarling, impudent, and menacing Ferrari F12tdf that was created by Maranello’s engineers and test-drivers with one simple purpose in mind-to test your skills and courage like never before: This is the supercar that Sebastian Vettel defined as “mind-blowing”. The essence of Ferrari is sporting success, performance, design, and passion: discover it all in the Ferrari Essentials Pack for Project CARS 2.
