Dakar 18 - Update v.09

We are releasing the ninth update, with new content focused on improving the gameplay experience, especially on Rookie mode. In addition, we have included improvements and fixes from reported issues. All Pc updates will be available for PlayStation and Xbox as soon as possible

New Features:
- Implemented permanent WayPoint indicator (WP) on Rookie mode (on and off-track)
- Implemented the option to skip the Tutorial at the Start Menu
- Implemented crash camera effect
- Implemented impact particles

Features improved:
- Improved: the Previously used camera is now restored when the player returns to the game, in career mode
- Improved: Game Performance increase on stages with vegetation
- Improved: Road book icons were adjusted to improve navigation
- Improved: Removed the vehicle to tow mechanics when the player choose challenge mode in the tutorial
- Improved: The Ocean effect
- Improved: Removed the WayPoint indicator (WP) on training lessons for a better understanding of Dakar 18 Navigation System.

General Bugs fixed:
- Fixed: Bikes would hit the ASO NPC during control points
- Fixed: Audio effects stop playing after a while
- Fixed: Bikes would fall during the intro cutscene
- Fixed: Steering linearity was not properly set after using the Last Waypoint
- Fixed: Problems unlocking the achievement "Better than Walkner"
- Fixed: Opening the Steam overlay platform during pause would lead to no input 
- Fixed: In the option "Restart Stage" if the Last Waypoint option was activated, didn't move the character to the proper place
- Fixed: Issue related with the orientation arrow when is inside of the other waypoint radius
- Fixed: After a Load Game the waypoint counters were duplicated
- Fixed: After a Load game, all AI drivers would start from the beginning and not on the previous position
- Fixed: Controller vibration option no longer interferes with force feedback from the steering wheels
- Fixed: Credits background overlaying gameplay after complete a career 
- Fixed: Road book not updating when doing the last waypoint option on Multiplayer.

Bigmoon Entertainment ha oggi annunciato l’arrivo del DLC intitolato “Dakar Series: Desafío Ruta 40“ per il simulatore di rally raid  Dakar 18, pubblicato a settembre 2018 per PlayStation®4, Xbox One e PC. Il DLC sarà gratuito, per un periodo limitato, per tutti coloro che hanno già acquistato Dakar 18.

Dakar Series - Desafío Ruta 40:
Il "Desafío Ruta 40 Rally" fa parte della famosa "Dakar Series", ed è il primo evento di questa serie ad essere aggiunto a Dakar 18. La gara si è svolta tra il 27 e il 31 agosto in Argentina. Così come per il gioco principale, il team di Bigmoon Entertainment ha concentrato tutti i suoi sforzi sulla simulazione di questa sfida, per renderla il più realistica possibile. Il nuovo DLC potenzierà il mondo già esistente del gioco principale con ulteriori 12.000 km², incluse cinque nuove tappe intorno alla splendida campagna dell'Argentina. Per far sì che i giocatori non si perdano nel vasto open world, il DLC includerà nuovi road book, sempre basati sui road book originali distribuiti ai piloti durante l'evento.

A proposito di Dakar 18:
Basato sul rally raid annuale, conosciuto in tutto il mondo, organizzato dalla Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) in Sud America, DAKAR 18 rappresenta una simulazione realistica del più grande cross-country rally del mondo. DAKAR 18 è focalizzato sul realismo e promette un gioco che rappresenta fedelmente veicoli e piloti del rally di DAKAR 2018. Il gioco include i principali team ufficiali, i veicoli e piloti di Dakar e 5 categorie di classi da corsa (Auto, Moto, Trucks, Quad e SxS) e molto altro. Inoltre, il gioco includerà una modalità single player e un’esperienza multiplayer online e offline.

Caratteristiche del gioco
·        Un enorme open world cross-country: esperienza di guida in Perù, Bolivia e Argentina con oltre 12.000 km2 di open world che non ti limitano a una sola pista o a determinate strade.
·        Dakar Rally 2018 comprende 14 tappe da Lima a Córdoba
·        Grafica realistica: attraverso la conversione di immagini satellitari sul terreno di gioco
·        Sistema di navigazione realistico roadbook: simula i Road Book ufficiali del Rally Dakar 2018 per guidarti attraverso l'immenso paesaggio. Riesci ad arrivare al traguardo senza perderti?
·        Simulazione del tempo e del meteo: rimani bloccato nella sabbia asciutta sotto il sole cocente, combatti contro il fango sotto la pioggia battente o sul letto di un fiume!
·        Simulazione del sole e delle costellazioni: il sole si muoverà seguendo la posizione di ciascun paese (Perù, Bolivia e Argentina) così come le stelle e le costellazioni.
·        Salva e Ripara: stai solo guidando verso la vittoria o sei disposto a fermarti ad aiutare gli amici in difficoltà? Aiutare un concorrente bloccato ti fornirà punti di riparazione aggiuntivi. Ne avrai bisogno!
·        Single-player e Multiplayer: Il gioco offre un'esperienza multiplayer online e offline. Gareggia con altri sette concorrenti nelle fasi online o gioca con un amico in split screen!

We are releasing the tenth update, with the content update focused on improving the gameplay experience and preparing the video game to accept future downloadable content.

New Features:
Added the “QUICK RACE” in the Explore Menu. Now the players will be able to perform a time trial with any single stage, with any vehicle, at any time, without needing a career.
Added the “DAKAR SERIES” menu to support DLC content
Added the rotation angle definition in the Options (from 180º to 1080º) for the Steering Wheels
Added the Game Option to hide the pilot's hands in the Cockpit view
Added the Game Option to hide the steering wheel in the Cockpit view
Added the possibility to return back to the Main Menu from the Bivouac
Added the Race Time, Repair Time and Penalty Time in the Stage Rankings
Added the possibility for the AI competitors to receive penalties and repair times
Added celebrating animations when picking up a Treasure
Added the confirmation message informing players that a treasure hunt has been completed
Added the confirmation message in the Bivouac, informing if the vehicle has not been Repaired and/or the Road Book has not been painted
Added the digging and recovery board instructions to the tutorial
Added the Option to disable camera inertia in the Game Options
Added the HUD information warning when you’re over the Speed limit

We've also added some fixes and improvements.
The same patch is also being submitted for consoles, so you should expect it soon.

io l'ho provato un po' da un amico, giocando col pad. tappe lunghine, facile perdersi, molto avvincente in quel senso. per tutto il resto, davvero ma davvero brutto. da grafica, a movimenti... bah...
