tuttotommaso

Gambero
ho contattato il boss di STUDIO 397, Marcel Offermans, su skype poco fa Marcel è una persona molto gentile e disponibile, questa è la risposta ufficiale alla domanda di @tuttotommaso: <<Hello Alex, as you know ISI released the first version of rFactor 2 on Steam in November of 2015, and at that point started offering a free migration of your license to Steam. Since Studio 397 took over the development, we have been encouraging people to take advantage of that free migration on all our roadmap updates and by doing a mass mailing to all non-Steam users. The migration software is something that was running all that time on the ISI website, against a database of their users, so at some point we had to shut it down. That time was end of January (in fact we kept it open two weeks extra to make sure that any e-mails that came in at the last moment could be properly processed). So our official position is that people that missed all of these messages for about half a year just have to purchase a new license on Steam. Their non-Steam version will also continue to work. We simply had to stop at some point. This is a decision I took. Of course such decisions are never popular with everybody, I get that, and I feel sorry for Lorenzo that he missed all these messages. Support is simply following directions.>>
