Il publisher Deep Silver annuncia il prossimo arrivo di NASCAR '14, nuova simulazione automobilistica firmata Eutechnyx, anche sul mercato europeo.
Il gioco è previsto arrivare in Nord America e nei territori PAL all'inizio del 2014 su PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360 e apporterà una serie di evoluzioni e novità rispetto al capitolo uscito in precedenza. La simulazione ufficiale del celebre campionato automobilistico americano NASCAR si caratterizza per alcuni nuovi elementi, in particolare:

- NASCAR Highlight è un particolare sistema di simulazione delle corse reali del campionato NASCAR, con il quale il gioco riproduce in maniera più fedele possibile il comportamento delle auto, le condizioni atmosferiche e le stesse posizioni di gara, con la differenza che il giocatore può prendere parte attiva alla corsa e cambiare così il corso della "storia"
- Modalità Carriera consente di scalare le classifiche in una modalità completa di parti personalizzate per auto, sponsor e R&S per portare la propria squadra alla vittoria
- Squadre e circuiti ufficiali NASCAR presenti, dalle ripide pendenze di Daytona alle curve di Sonoma, fino alla trascinante velocità di Talladega
- Campionati: è possibile gareggiare in multiplayer online organizzando campionati con altri utenti, completi di statistiche, sfide, classifiche e replay
- Multigiocatore online: matchmaking basato sull'abilità, tornei e funzione di entrata/uscita dal server.

Deep Silver annuncia inoltre la particolare iniziativa "Drive for the Cover" che consente agli utenti di scegliere, attraverso il sito ufficiale, il pilota da piazzare sulla copertina del gioco.

Nascar '14 non prenderà la corsia preferneziale della next gen per un semplice motivo: sia PS4 e sia Xbox One sono ancora poco diffuse ed effettuare un porting per le console di nuova generazione avrebbe avuto costi proibitori per Eutechnyx, come ha riferito Ed Martin, CEO della software house. Ecco perchè il racing game uscirà unicamente su PS3, PC e Xbox 360 il prossimo 28 febbraio.

Prezzo troppo esoso per i miei gusti... e per fortuna che è un digital download!

Il 2013 era scandaloso, costa troppo e mi sembra che non sia cambiato nulla, classico gioco da console.

bhe scandaloso il 2013 nn direi, solo afflitto da troppi problemi riguardanti l'IA ed il setup ma senza alcun aiuto stare nel gruppo nn era affatto facile, anzi!, quest'anno comunque e decisamente migliorato, lo stò giocando col fanatec csr elite ed è veramente divertente, anche la difficoltà e decisamente elevata, non siamo ai livelli di nascar 2003 xò i linea di massima la fisica e accettabile e il resto e ache sopra le aspettative, lo consiglio agli amanti della nascar, senza contare che oramai nascar 2003 è troppo vecchio e risente troppo degli anni xchè tolta la fisica (e anche li solo se si va dtritti) il resto non si puà più vedere, senza contare gli incidenti che nel 2003 sono davero "vecchi"

Ciao, siccome sono un grande appassionato della Nascar, mi puoi dire come si comporta l' AI, perchè con il 2013 era impossibile gareggiare, tutti ti buttavano fuori, gare al cinquanta per cento dei giri c'erano,anche 30 caution, una cosa mai vista, assurda, prima di prendere un'altra fregatura vorrei sapere se funziona.
