Guest ivan zoli
Hallo, I don't have ENGINE data in data file when download with RaceStudio. It seems they are missing from the telemtry_dump.nkt file. Is there any way to enable the logging of RPM? Thank you Ivan
foyol
Short answer I guess it's no, it is not possible. It seems to me that engine data isn't there at all, apart from gas/brake pedal. I tried to show engine data in RaceDataAnalysis (menu "View" -> Engine PRM Analysisis). RaceDataAnalysis shows a window in which the channel used to show engine data is instead the G_LAT channel. You could edit this automatic assignment, but unfortunately I don't see any other data channel that can be used instead of G_LAT. Complete list of the data channels I see is as follow: GAS PEDAL BRAKE PEDAL STEERANGLE SUS TRAVEL LF SUS TRAVEL RF SUS TRAVEL LR SUS TRAVEL RR YAWRATE G LAT SPEED SUS SPEED LF SUS SPEED RF SUS SPEED LR SUS SPEED RR LON G GEAR WHEEL SPEED LF WHEEL SPEED RF WHEEL SPEED LR WHEEL SPEED RR
Guest ivan zoli
Hello Roberto, It is the same for me, but I'm pretty sure that RPM data are not saved by netKar. I consider RPM data very important, for example to properly setup gearbox, setup properly shift lights etc... But I wonder if there is some .ini file, (for example), that allow to select which channel log. Or something else. Thank you for answering me. foyol
I would try and contact this guy here: He was using RPM data as you can easily see. The only problem is that the video is 4 years old, but why not Good luck! PS: should you get some info, please share them here. Really curious about this topic
