Will the title be purely multiplayer focused, or will there be AI included for offline racing?

Marco: Assetto Corsa can be considered a ‘standard’ video-game for what is related to the game-play (AI, single races, race weekends, practice, and so on), with a very advanced physics model, plus Laserscan tracks and officially licensed cars. Of course, it will also support multiplayer. Anyway, this time we want to give to sim-racing enthusiasts a product they can play as they prefer, instead of limiting it to online racing only.

When Assetto Corsa was released you mentioned it would feature an open architecture allowing the title to be easier to access for modders. What features and tools can modders expect with the open architecture of Assetto Corsa

We think community input is very important for a niche market product. Nevertheless watching forums and blog comments is not always enough, because you can’t be sure as to how many people will eventually use a feature, a car or a track, everybody talks about. Modding gives the power to the community to express its creativity but also its preferences to whatever they like best. It makes a product more interesting to everybody and it gives developers the time to work on core features while the modders take care of “content”.

Marco: Our licensing agreement with Lotus includes all the models produced by Lotus Cars, theoretically we could reproduce all of them.

"We are also working on other remote devices, but we prefer to keep this a surprise."

Con "remote devices",secondo voi cosa intendono?

E' chiaro oramai che attenderemo la Kunos al camino di casa (per chi lo possiede), per avere Assetto Corsa.

Niente dobbiamo stare pazienti.. (4 mesi)

Buon lavoro!
