Alessandro Pollini
File Name: Late Model Series File Submitter: Alessandro Pollini File Submitted: 03 Jul 2012 File Category: Cover Wheel MODs Author : Running From Nothing Developments Version 1.6 - Fixes issue with the cars swaying uncontrollably at New Hampshire Motor Speedway A huge thanks is given out to the GearHead Gaming guys that made the ASA Late Models for rFactor. They are now with Bigdogs Racing which runs Iracing. Thank you guys for permission to use the ASA Late Models. ALL CREDITS CAN BE FOUND IN THE README FILE INCLUDED WITH THE MOD! The mod includes almost every skin from the ACT Late Model Series and all the tracks they run. The Late Models run crate engines with a RPM limit of 6200, Max HP 355, Max Torque 405. Certain rules the Late Models run in real life has been implemented in the mod like no suspension limiting devices like bump stops or spring rubbers, no rear camber, no rear sway bar, and a 3 speed transmission. Spring rates have also been set to match the spring rates of the shocks required in the rules for the ACT Late Model Series. You must really get up on the wheel and drive these cars. It is incredibly easy to push too hard and get very loose or very tight, a small mistake entering a corner can mess up that entire lap. These cars have crate engines so instead of power you have to try to carry the momentum but with the handling of the car even a small mistake and get you loos and spin you or get you too tight and have to get out of the throttle and loose all momentum.
