It's near what you can see on TV, but i've made them more playable. Because, y'know, why not? This copy is sourced from the BBC HD coverage of the Singapore race with some very subtle editing by me at either end to neaten it up. And so, in the tradition of bootlegs... Lineage Original encode: BBC HD (SkyHD 1080i) MKV: x264 1080i @ 1.333 PAR (effective resolution 1440x900) / AAC 2.0 I got it and did the following: Clipped FIA sting from source video using mkvtoolnix (no reencoding) Imported into VirtualDub 1.9.9 (transcoded to AVI with Lagarith lossless intermediary codec / PCM 16bit 48kHz audio) Sony Vegas 9 render to Lagarith / PCM, deinterlacing and adjusting PAR to 1:1 (effective resolution of 1920x1080) Bink encode to 2 Mbps w/ Quality 0 audio (perceptually lossless) Subtle fadein and fadeout on audio, held final frame of F1 logo and manual video fade to black This copy shouldn't end quite as abruptly as there was more clean audio at the end of the clip. I also topped and tailed the audio to remove ambient noise without it sounding awkward and I also held the final F1 logo before fading it out (as the Singapore coverage crossfaded to a helicopter shot of the track). Insert these folders in the respective folders in Codemasters\F1 2011 folder in your Program File directory Credits to MS7XWDC for b_driver_helmets_hi_res.pssg and helmets in frontend folders (pictures of Ricciardo and Senna were find by me) and to v1tek for Senna's HD helmet.
