Guest schuey97
Hey All Have just setup a new computer from scratch and tried installing the NKP 1.3 onto it. (It also has updated via the auto-update) Everything will run up to the point when NKP tries to load "shadow.nko" The game will crash with an error message stating that a kdumplog has been created (Off stopic - What is required to read these dumps?) I have updated the Nvidia 8600GT to the latest Nvidia update I have gone trough the instructions posted on this forum with re-installing .Net Framework software onto the computer Made sure latest DirectX installed Tried running game at different resolutions and lowering video settings to their lowest settings Checked to make sure the Shadow.nko file existed. (Happens to every car) Made sure my driver license folder had been copied over. I was going to install NKP and LFS onto this computer, so I installed LFS to check that maybe there was not a hardware issue. LFS is running fine with no issues. Computer Spec Windows 7 x64 SP1 Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.40Ghz 4Gb 800Mhz Nvidia 8600GT Thanks for your help
kunos
it's unlikely that shadow.nko create a problem.. please post the log.txt to find more info.

kunos
the problem seems to be the audio. Have you got audio speakers or headphones connected to the PC? Funny enough, nkp doesn't work if there is no audio device attached.
Guest schuey97
Well that fixed the problem I have an audio card in the PC, but I thought I might try my spare audio USB stick and straight away the game went past the Shadow.nko file and loaded into the game. Thanks for that Kunos ... I have another audio card and might give that a go.
