BFF Tool v1.45

http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=23167

BFF Tools, includes:

BFI Uninstaller GUI (NEW)

Unpacker GUI (NEW)

Compiler tool (Improved)

Inject tool

Repack tool

GUI and command line version for Repacker and Inject Tool.

(Needs NET Framework 2.0)

I have made a compiler to create zip files and make easy to publish mods.

You just need to leave your modded files in a folder (just the edited ones), the compiler will join all your files in compressed form.

In the example below I've modified 4 DDS textures of Dodge Challenger, the compiler created a zip file containing the Inject tool and a script to update required BFF archives in game folder.

The compiler will create a ZIP file with BFF Inject tool and the modded files inside a compressed file (see screenshot above).

To install the mod just extract all files and fire Injector.exe, it will read Install.bfi script and update required BFF archives in game folder.

Install.bfi is a simple text file with files to be updated

Injector.exe will update DODGE_CHALLENGER_SRT8.bff and DODGE_CHALLENGER_SRT8_Cockpit.bff with modded DDS textures.

To remove a file from BFF just rename the file with - in front of name.

Example: the files "-t01_01_01_conditions.xml.bml" and "-t01_01_01_setup.xml.bml" below will be removed from BFF archive.

To re-add those files just rename them to "+t01_01_01_conditions.xml.bml" and "+t01_01_01_setup.xml.bml" and recompile.

Uncompressed files are great for modders, but it makes loading times even worse than already it is. I think this tool will help to publish mods without hassle, and make mods' installation just a few clicks away.

There's a repacker and inject tool also.
