Guest Boa74 Posted October 9, 2005 Share Posted October 9, 2005 F1 Turbo 1986 and 1987 seasons for F1 Challenge ------------------------------------------------------------------ Total DL size 290 mb (sorry) This mod contains all the 1986 cars, and also most of the 1987 cars, many of these were not present in the initial turbo mod New sounds have been added, as well as improved cockpits, and an all new set of physics and tyre models This represents more than a conversion. It adds to and enhances some elements, and we hope you find it worthy of as an F1 Challenge version. First of all, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to those in the Tantra Development Group who created the Turbo Mod for F1 2002, and particularly to Thrasher for his superb models. These members are still listed in the closing credits to the game. It was their hard efforts and inspiration that brought this mod to light and has spurred us to make this version for F1 Challenge. Also, many thanks to ISI for making an excellent open-ended simulation structure, which allows for fun, realistic and exciting mods like this one. INSTALLATION To install the mod: extract the audio.rar, exe.rar, options.rar and turbodata parts 1 to 4 to your f1c directory open the turbodata folder, extract the circuits.rar here open the CONFIG.ini with notepad or similar copy ALL lines underneath SYSTEMRAM= çlose the config.ini, open TURBOconfig.ini, paste over the lines underneath SYSTEMRAM= with those from config.ini you will then need to configure the f1 turbo mod.bat, open with wordpad etc, and change the location of f1c so it matches where you have it installed voila, you have installed the mod if when you start it, the normal f1 appears and not the turbo mod, it is because you didnt copy the config.ini properly have fun Known issues: Shadows look wrong, no backfires CREDITS: Special thanks to: * Thrasher: Without Thrasher’s wonderful original cars, there would be no Turbo Mod. Ma allora non è la solita conversione, ci sono auto nuove e suddivise x annata? Spero di si, nell'altro mi stava troppo sulle balle correre contro 4 Senna, 3 Piquet ,ecc Ma quanta roba sta uscendo x f1 challenge! vi siete messi d'accordo! Guest Boa74 Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 Eh eh non devi ringraziare me, ma chi ha fatto il mod, io ho solo postato la release. Cmq ci sono altri progetti in dirittura d'arrivo, dedicati alle GT: uno e' il FIA GT 1997, completo della classe GT2, mentre un modder solitario sta convertendo per F1Ch il BPR della stagione precedente. Diciamo che l'uscita di rF e GTL ha accelerato lo sviluppo di certe idee che, o escono adesso, o non le fanno mai piu'. Questo lo devo ancora provare, ma le stagioni dovrebbero essere separate. Un altro gruppo sta mettendo a posto il mod '88, ma io non riesco a farlo ancora funzionare. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
aced79 Posted October 10, 2005 Share Posted October 10, 2005 (edited) Già un ringraziamento a chi ha fatto il mod anche perchè da quel poco che ho girato mi sembra fatto abbastanza bene, certo l'f1 seven è un altra cosa graficamente, però fisica e sonoro sembrano ben curati inoltre i cockpit sono perfettamente funzionanti! Allora il readme dice: To install the mod: extract the audio.rar, exe.rar, options.rar and turbodata parts 1 to 4 to your f1c directory open the turbodata folder, extract the circuits.rar here open the CONFIG.ini with notepad or similar copy ALL lines underneath SYSTEMRAM= çlose the config.ini, open TURBOconfig.ini, paste over the lines underneath SYSTEMRAM= with those from config.ini e spero che fino a qui tu abbia capito: si tratta solo di scompattare i files, inserire la cartella circuits nella cartella turbodata e mettere tutto nella directory di f1 challenge. Fatto questo apri il tuo file config.ini con il notepad copia tutto dalla linea SYSTEMRAM= compresa in poi e sostituisci queste linee nel turboconfig.ini, poi chiudi e salva. Il passo dopo io ho fatto in modo differente, ho creato un collegamento all'exe di f1challenge , poi tasto destro sul collegamento ed in proprietà alla voce destinazione ho aggunto :" -config=turboconfig.ini -trace=1000" dopo il percorso. Esempio se hai f1 challenge installato nella directory di default sarà: "C:\programmi\EA PORTS\F1 Challenge 99-02.exe" -config=turboconfig.ini -trace=1000 o qualcosa del genere Rinomina il collegamento in turbomod o quello che vuoi e fallo partire.
