    This is a further update from Billbro's initial great GTR2 conversion, done with his full permission.
    I have made many changes and feel it looks better for it.
     
    i have geographically located this fantasy track in Dorset, close to its namesake of Cernes Wood.
     
    Update :
    removed hundreds of flashing/duplicate faces
    removed armies of GPL people
    added new speccys
    fixed normals on lots of objects
    replanted many many floating trees
    removed many GPL treewalls
    some new tree texures
    new road surface and edges
    changed fence and wall textures and also removed multiple fences
    removed all the GPL flaggers
    rescaled some textures
    added team trucks
    added trackside marshalls
    changed skybox for UK skyline
    corrected alpha groove(0.6400) max for live track(not included)
    changes to GDB and TRK files to GTR2 standard
    changed lighting and fog
    new gtr2 lod
    added tree shadows
    planted small bushes
    further infield terrain added
    few more TSOs

    Inspired by the Great Alpine Road in Australia, the track it self located somewhere in Europe (Germany, Italy or France, you can choose). Track layout reminds of the great haydays of the 60's; Spa, Le mans, Machwerk...
    Normal everyday rural roads, no safety features; you wreck, you die.. Ditches that can suck you in or give you great slingshots around tight corners. Blind turns, fast flowing straights separated by very twisty, almost asfalt rally sections. Exactly the kind of road i would want to drive fast without speed limits...

    Overview
    ======
    - Eau Rouge has always been difficult for the AI cars to handle and navigate well. They will unnecessarily brake at the entrance and on the uphill portion, and often drift over the curb on the left-hander at the top of the hill. All this can cause incidents that should be avoidable by the AI.
    - These edited AIW files use a smoother driving line all through Eau Rouge, plus a slight increase in speed on selected waypoints. This combination gives a much more realistic and competitive result all the way from the start to the finish of Eau Rouge.
    - The AI often do not navigate the La Source hairpin very well. They frequently scrape the barrier on the inside of the hairpin, or take the hairpin unnecessarily wide. The driving line also makes them turn in too early, which gives them a less-optimal exit from the hairpin down into the start/finish straight.
    - These edited AIW files have the AI taking a slightly later entrance into the hairpin. This allows them to take a close and consistent line through the hairpin without scraping the barrier. It also gives them a more effective exit line from the hairpin down into the start/finish straight.

    As it was requested, I tried to fix the aiw on the track, especially in the hard left right (turn 2+3) So I hope, races against AI-Drivers are now a little bit better

    AI is now driving no more into walls (problem was in turn 1 and 5)

    Made these AIW files as I was having some problems at Donington with the MC12 and the Murcielago, after using the GTR2 Reborn. WIth these edits, the AI cars pass the Craner Curves and the Old Hairpin without problems.
    These AIWs are made to work wit GTR2 Reborn. I have not tested them on the stock game, but you could use it still. I also included a setup for the Murcielago, as it is still prone to spinning
    If you want to use these files in any mod, please ask for permission

    Overview
    ======
    Oschersleben has several faults that can make racing against the AI very problematic:
    * The AI often become unstable through the McDonalds chicane, which also makes causes them difficulty in the Kurve 6 turn, just after the chicane. Many indicents and spins occur here.
    The edited AIW files use a slightly different line through the chicane which avoids the instability, and also has an adjusted driving line through Kurve 6.
    * The big 180-degree Hotelkurve has several driving line problems, the worst being that the pit exit merging line is very poorly made. This causes cars that are trying to merge onto the driving line to brake and often cut off cars that are already on the driving line.
    The edited AIW files have a smoother merging line which fixes both of these problems, plus other minor improvements.
    * The Safety Car is positioned too close to the pit exit line. Cars that are trying to exit the pits from the stalls near the safety car cannot move around it easily and hit it from behind.
    The edited AIW files move the safety car back into a clear area by the garages, where the AI can avoid it easily and also lets the safety car move into the pit lane without problems.
    * The driving line through Shell Esses on the Club circuit causes most cars to exit onto the grass, causing frequent instablility. The edited AIW for the Club circuit has an adjusted driving line that changes where the cars take the apex which is smoother and lets them ride the exit curb without always drifting out onto the grass.

    ======
    AI cars going over the Hansen Curve on the Anderstorp South circuit often will unnecesarily cut the apex too closely and hit the curb incorrectly, which can cause them to spin, etc. The driving line through the Hansen Curve has been edited to decrease this behavior, and the AI cars now take a better line and are more stable.

    Detroit 1988 is an intense street circuit, but the AI have a lot of difficulty with it when using the default AIW file. On some corners, they will scrape the barriers hard on every lap. Many overtaking attempts are also simply too ambitious and there are frequent, major crashes.
    This edited AIW has decreased the barrier-scraping by quite a bit and when it does happen, it is usually less severe. The AI do many fewer "bonzai" overtaking attempts as well. If it is obvious the pass will not work, the car trying the pass will back out. Their behavior overall is much more stable and realistic. One effect of this, as you may expect, is there are fewer position changes but this is typical of a narrow street circuit such as Detroit.Edited AIW file for Detroit 1988 GTR2 v1.0

    Version 1.0 - 04/29/2011
    * Fixed the problems at the Turn 1 left-hander, that allowed AI cars to frequently launch themselves into the air over the high curb. This caused the cars to become very unsettled and often caused large pile-ups that were especially bad at the start of the race. The AI cars now use the lower, safer part of the curb, and accidents are much more rare.
    * Improved the driving line approaching and going through the chicane just after Turn 1, which decreases accidents at the chicane. When cars became unsettled at Turn 1 they often caused accidents entering the chicane. The line through the chicane itself has also been improved and the cars now navigate it more consistently.
    * Moved the pit-out driving line much closer to the wall on the right, to decrease interfering with cars that are on-track approaching Turn 1.
    * Improved the driving line through the hairpin. AI cars can now navigate the hairpin more cleanly, with fewer collisions at the apex and exit. Overtaking in the hairpin is now more feasible and safe.
