Developped on Dell Inspiron 531 Athlon64x2 5600+ (dual core 2.8GHz) with nvidia 9800GT 512Mo (8800/9800GT were the high end nvidia card when GTR2 was released so I do not recommend this mod with poor Intel integrated graphics but it will work great with last AMD APU 3200G-Vega8 and above as tested by my friend DurgeDriven).
This GTR2 HQ Anniversary PATCH represents 5 years of work (nearly 10 000 FILES!!!) and includes all the necessary MODS/PATCHES for GTR2 plus tons of HQ textures. There are 2 games in 1, first the default 2003-2004 game with stock cars and tracks which get only few textures updates, second the HQ Cars&Tracks (with "HQ" prefix in menu) which get ALL the fixes/patches, more HQ textures plus exclusive graphics (both 2D/3D) : indeed, my will is to keep original game untouched to avoid online mismatch on internet and to see all the work done so far in this HQ Anniversary Patch when you compare both.

You will notice that there are two different installer files:
- GTR2 UI MOD - WIDE-SCREEN FIX
This is the fix to be installed by users with wide screen monitors (16:9, 16:10 and 21:9).
If confused, this is the current standard of most newer monitors (LCD, LED, PLASMA).
- GTR2 UI MOD - REGULAR-SCREEN FIX
This is the fix to be installed by users with regular screen monitors (4:3 and 5:4).
If confused, this is the old standard of older CRT and first gen LCD monitors.
Select and run the installer according to your monitor.
The files are to be installed in the GTR2 main installation folder (browse to that folder).
Which means, install files to the same GTR2 installation where the GTR2 UI MOD was previously installed.

The problem was most noticed in the class selection screen, where last class/car could not be found nor chosen when scrolling down (now fixed).

This enhancement gives you the opportunity to bring the old gmotor2 engine to some fresh looking style. These are settings done by me with the ENB series of Boris Vorontsov.
Version 1.1 had over 2500 downloads in two years. So this can't be a wrong thing
Copy the files from the folder of the game you want to enhance into your main installation directory. This directory is where the rfactor.exe/gtr2.exe/GSC.exe/FTruck.exe is.
Don't forget: JUDGING WITHOUT TESTING IS SENSELESS! The pictures can not show the entire effect. This mod only shows his beauty in high resolution.

GT Legends Version
The mod Hudson's HD Skies for GTR2 is great no doubt, but did you notice that every region had the same sky set, pretty unrealistic i thought. If you drive in northern regions there are more clouds in the sky, not always but compared to races in southern regions, yeah. So why not combine some of Hudson's HD skies with the great HD sky compilation 6e66o released years ago for rFactor and release the package for GTR2.
- every region (central, north, south) has now unique HD skies
- compatible with every track released for GTR2 (shared and shared_raceon folders inside)

All add-on vehicles and tracks can be added to championships, and any combination of vehicle classes may compete against each other in the championship. There are no limits to number of tracks, and number of vehicles are obviously limited to the maximum allowed on the selected tracks. But all in all, the possibilities are endless!

You install a mod manually that overwrites some files from a already installed JSGME package
Sometime later you de-active the JSGME Mod that was manually overwritten
JSGME will give you no warning and replace the files with the original backup
So your manually installed mod will now more then likely be corrupted
Anything you want to add PACKAGE it for JSGME !
Then you will avoid situation described above

*** Use Windows Explorer to delete or rename MODS
JSGME right-click "re-naming" is very easy to delete a MOD and deleted mods don't go to recycle bin

This plugin permits games like rFactor, Superleague Formula 2009, GTR, GTR2, GTL, Race and Race07 to use G27Leds. It was developed using Logitech Wheel SDK and was tested only on rFactor and GTR2. In others games it should not work properly.
Please: Read INSTRUCTIONS otherwise it will not work. You have to change PLR File.

It basically works this way:
You select base GTR2 folder, it scans for all CAR and HDC files, you then mark several CAR or HDC files and in Change Key Value window you set which value you want to change and in which way and press Execute button and the application will modify that value in all selected files. It can also be used for finding out how particular value differs in several CAR or HDC files.
On legal side the application is freeware, you can use and distribute it any way you want but strictly non-commercially. And you're using it on your own risk.
MET now can edit rFactor 1 files (*.VEH, *.HDV) too, i.e. it works either in GTR2 mode or in rFactor mode.
"CAR File|Reread" command and "HDC File|Reread" command did nothing. It's fixed now, i.e. they reread selected files.
It's now possible to create class using the modify class function if a car file has no class assigned.
"class" combo box on "Modify Classes" tab on "Change Key Value" dialog doesn't automatically complete entered class name from the list of classes.
DelZip190.dll was added to installation zip file. It's needed when CAR and HDC files are being backed up.

These instructions describe how to obtain vehicle driveline differential function information from recorded MoTeC i2 Pro data when playing sim-racing games, such as, GTR2.
This version (v2.2) reads the value for the Vehicle Track Width (mm) directly from the MoTeC input data. Thus eliminating the necessity of entering it by hand. It also now reports DIFF Lock-Up separately for the Power side and Coast side.
In all other respects, this version (v2.2) is identical to the previous version (v2.1). All of the required Global Math expressions are contained in the “DIFF Math File V2.2.xml” file which can be easily imported into MoTeC.
The tools presented herein will assist you in the analysis of how the differential (DIFF) is functioning as a result of vehicle and DIFF set-up parameter settings, and the instantaneous dynamic conditions resulting from driver inputs and racetrack characteristics.

The mod contains more than 550 bitmap files made to replace the (useless I think-and sometimes ugly) minimap of each track -if there is so, some tracks don't have any. They consist in in-game screenshots of the most spectacular turns that will make you recognize each track at first sight and tease you for a race. The game only allows low-res pics. I didn' find how to fix it.
The pics will have normal proportions in the menu -the game widens them a little...
I've tried to make them in the same fashion, like a default menu. I hope you like it.
But feel free to make your own pics!
First, back up every file you replace!
Replace the BMP files of the tracks folders by those supplied -they must have
the same name to be replaced properly.
For the tracks that don't have any ...Track.bmp file in their folder(s),
add the BMP files made for them (according to the files name).

place the file "MOTECHUD.dds" in the "Teams" and puts "FNTHMOTL.TGA"
