Insidesimracing.tv presents This Week Inside Sim Racing May 25th Edition. On today's show we cover many topics. We start things off with our announcement of the 120 Minutes of Thunder at the Glen that we will be hosting. We also review the new sequential shifter from Derek Speare Designs. After taking a lengthy poll at our sit we look at the results of what is the most commonly used wheel by sim racers and let you know how they all rank. Then to top things off Darin and Shaun have a new segment were they introduce some of their own topics into the show.

Insidesimracing.tv presents This Week Inside Sim Racing. On the May 11th edition of the show Jessica Lopez hosts and starts things off with some race reports from some of the best sim racing leagues there are. We cover Formula Sim Racing as they compete at Shanghai, China for Round 3 of their championship. We also cover the Touring Pro Series running the V8 Supercars as they headed to Albert Park to kick off their season. In addition we follow the iRacing Drivers World Championships and catch up as those seasons progress. Also in this show we get into Gran Turismo with the GT Academy 2012 and see what it will take to be the next GT Academy champion. Insidesimracing.tv present This Week Inside Sim Racing for the Week of April 28th. In this episode we cover the new build by iRacing which features a ton of updates as well as a new car and track. We also cover the beginning of racing season by looking at the Touring Pro Series. This weeks show also includes a new Simrig of the Week that is enough to make any sim racer jealous. John Hill is back with a new installment of Rear View Mirror. And then to top things off we have a review of Dashmeter Pro for iRacing, a new display that uses an android phone. In addition we also take a 2nd look at the VRC1000 simrig and some improvements that they have made to it. We also have a contest this week giving away some DLC for Gran Turismo 5.

Following on from our F1 Force India rendering tutorial, we now have a new one with the 2010 Renault Megane Eurocup. Here we again go from rFactor game model to final render and create our own simple studio to render it in. As well as delving into a little extra detail, we also do some basic asset modelling and add a corporate logo to the subtle reflective floor. Insidesimracing.tv present This Week Inside Sim Racing. On this weeks show we cover many sim racing topics. This includes an announcement from Simbin regarding the new free to play version of the V-WTCC. Also included in this show is a feature of the new version of Mid-Ohio by Virtua LM for Rfactor 2. We also feature a great video of the Formula Truck by Reiza studios. In preparation for the Intel GT world finals we go over the grid and see some of the big names gearing up for that race. We also add more prizes to the March on Michigan race coming March 31st. In addition to that we feature a new league, have a new simrig of the week and also a new segment on the show called "Rear-View Mirror" by John Hill. This and more all in this weeks show.

RacingRenders Shop

RacingRenders has now opened a shop! Now you can find out how it's done! In the shop you can purchase tutorials explaining in detail how I go from the game model to the final render. There is one tutorial online at the moment which explains the process of getting the car model from rFactor to final render. Here we use the 2009 Force India F1 car from FSOne. Around 1.5hrs of learning at a bargain price. More tutorials will appear in time.

Take note that my 3D package of choice is Lightwave, not 3D Max. But if you know how to do the equivalent of what I do in Lightwave in 3DMax then you should be fine to follow along. Also, rendering services will soon be available where you can buy the services of RacingRenders.com to make a pack of custom renders for you from a model you provide. There will also be an option to request a car to be modelled and have it rendered too.

Insidesimracing.tv presents This Week Inside Sim Racing for the week of February 20th. Lots packed into this 30 plus minute episode. First up we talk about the latest patch for Gran Turismo 5. Then we bring back Top Simulation Cars of All time and for this version, we have the Riley Daytona Prototype from iRacing and the Ferrari 458 Italia from Kunos Simulazioni and their Ferrari Virtual Academy title. Then Darin and Shaun have some race recaps from the 2.4 Hours of Daytona race that took place on February 18th in iRacing. More than 1000 drivers took the green flag that day. See how the guys did.
