</p>

<p>
	Emergono nuovi dettagli sul videogioco dedicato alla Indycar in sviluppo presso Motorsport Games: a riportare i dettagli è ovviamente il solito Mike Straw con un <strong><a href="https://insider-gaming.com/new-details-on-indycar-game-features/" rel="external">report</a> </strong>per Insider Gaming.
</p>

<p>
	Secondo il report la portata principale sarà la modalità Campionato, che vedrà il giocatore prendere parte ad una stagione completa della Indycar con l'obiettivo di conquistare il titolo, oltre a vari elementi cosmetici da sbloccare. Oltre alla modalità Campionato ci sarà una modalità "Gara Veloce" e una modalità "Online".
</p>

<p>
	Ci sarà anche un accenno di personalizzazione, con la possibilità per i giocatori di modificare i propri caschi, oltre ad una modalità foto. Riguardo la componente multiplayer non sono state forniti ulteriori dettagli.
</p>

<p>
	Il gioco è ancora in lavorazione e molte cose potrebbero cambiare o sono già cambiate visto che la build mostrata è una vecchia build di Ottobre 2022. In calce c'è anche uno screenshot di una parte del menu principale, che a quanto pare è stato recentemente modificato. Il titolo di Motorsport Games è previsto per quest'anno, e molte persone vicine allo sviluppo hanno dichiarato che il piano del team è quello di rilasciarlo durante la tarda primavera o durante gli inizi dell'estate, tra Giugno e Luglio. C'è ancora una possibilità che venga ulteriormente spostato, ma verrà comunque rilasciato durante il 2023 e nel bel mezzo della stagione Indycar

<p>
	Studio 397 ha rilasciato il secondo major update della Release Candidate rilasciata durante lo scorso Gennaio. Contrariamente a <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-build-q1-2023-rinviata-al-21-febbraio-ma-con-una-sorpresa-r28495/" rel="">quanto annunciato in precedenza</a></strong>, non è ancora disponibile la funzionalità per gareggiare contro le auto non possedute: il team ha spiegato che sebbene la feature sia già stata integrata e sia completamente funzionante, la user experience necessita ancora di qualche ritocco prima di poter essere resa disponibile, quindi per il momento questo aggiornamento slitta alla prossima settimana.
</p>

<p>
	In questo aggiornamento il team ha rifinito alcune funzionalità introdotte con la nuova RC, come il nuovo sistema di package, la modalità foto e soprattutto nuove aggiunte alla fisica di gioco riguardante l'ibrido

	Come ci ha <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/forums/topic/84542-iracing-svelate-in-video-le-novit%C3%A0-della-build-season-1-2023/page/3/#comments" rel="">prontamente segnalato sul forum</a></strong> l'amico <a contenteditable="false" data-ipshover="" data-ipshover-target="https://www.drivingitalia.net/profile/102178-alfred-ita/?do=hovercard" data-mentionid="102178" href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/profile/102178-alfred-ita/" id="ips_uid_8485_6" rel="">@Alfred ita</a>, sono davvero numerose le novità e migliorie in fase di sviluppo per iRacing, che ci vengono elencate in un lungo <strong><a href="https://www.iracing.com/iracing-development-update-february-3-2023/?fbclid=IwAR3LKeRT3A_OhoHms7fVxEfdwC7IvsHClGoqe2t4y4bmHoFYgn6akcMwWvQ" rel="external">post da Tony Gardner</a></strong>, presidente della compagnia americana.
</p>

<p>
	Qui di seguito alcuni passaggi del post di Gardner:
</p>

<p>
	<em>...è in corso un progetto imponente per aggiungere la pioggia e un sistema meteorologico dinamico completamente nuovo a iRacing. Siamo molto entusiasti di come sta andando tutto insieme. Il piano di rilascio della pioggia e' per quest'anno, tuttavia, verrò sgridato se prometto qualcosa dato che è un progetto così grande. Se fosse stato realizzato secondo le nostre aspettative, lo avremmo già rilasciato, quindi abbiamo ancora del lavoro da fare.</em>
</p>

<p>
	<em>I nostri team sono stati rafforzati con nuovi artisti, programmatori, talenti creativi, personale di produzione e manager. Molti di questi nuovi assunti provengono da Slightly Mad Studios e hanno lavorato su Project Cars e altri titoli di corse. Abbiamo sempre avuto molto rispetto per questi studi e team e siamo entusiasti di portare la loro esperienza, competenza e nuove idee in iRacing.</em>
</p>

<p>
	<em>Sebbene la nostra lista di tracciati sia ampia e gli sforzi di sviluppo copriranno molte stagioni di sviluppo, alcuni importanti progetti imminenti includono Algarve, Aragon, Jerez, Misano, Pukekohe e Lédenon. In realtà abbiamo acquisito le licenze di molti altri grandi circuiti internazionali oltre a questi, ma questo è sufficiente da anticipare per oggi. Stiamo anche tornando a un favorito di iRacing che è diventato obsoleto: Zandvoort. Zandvoort è stato scansionato la scorsa settimana e entrerà direttamente nel nostro processo di produzione.</em>

<p>
	Gran Turismo 7 VR è stato definito incredibile da chi ha già avuto modo di provare l'aggiornamento per il gioco di guida di Polyphony su PlayStation VR2, che sarà disponibile gratuitamente a partire dal 22 febbraio.
</p>

<p>
	Stando alle parole di Ryan McCaffrey di IGN, l'esperienza messa a punto per l'occasione riesce davvero a valorizzare le meccaniche "simulative" della serie. In particolare acquistano un grande valore aggiunto il feedback che i controller e il visore riescono a trasmettere, e che aumentano di parecchio il coinvolgimento per una resa più realistica di ciò che sta accadendo in-game.
</p>

<p>
	Sembra proprio che nel caso di Gran Turismo 7 la modalità VR sia davvero in grado di fare la differenza ed elevare non solo la resa visiva ma anche e soprattutto il gameplay, portandolo a livelli inediti. Non perdetevi i due trailer qui di seguito in proposito.

<p><img src="https://www.drivingitalia.net/uploads/monthly_2023_02/Motorsports-Games.jpg.f42712a3d93dae21d7061c6042f0446e.jpg" /></p>
<p>
	Motorsport Games, sotto la quale c'è anche Studio 397 di rFactor 2, negli ultimi mesi ha vissuto un periodo molto difficile, con le sue azioni al Nasdaq scese al di sotto di $ 3 milioni di dollari, la maggioranza del suo consiglio di amministrazione dimessa e grandi polemiche dopo i problemi che hanno afflitto la Le Mans Virtual. Tuttavia, alcuni annunci delle ultime due settimane sono stati accolti positivamente dal mercato: Motorsport Games è quindi diventata oggetto di speculazione del Nasdaq con il suo prezzo balzato da $ 2,54 lunedì a quasi $ 50 mercoledì!
</p>

<p>
	La novità accolta con maggiore entusiasmo dagli investitori è l'annuncio di aver stipulato un accordo definitivo di investimento di collocamento privato da 3,9 milioni di dollari. L'aumento di capitale dovrebbe avvenire venerdì, a un prezzo di acquisto di 21,40 dollari per azione. Motorsport Games intende utilizzare i proventi dell'investimento per lo sviluppo di più giochi, capitale circolante e scopi aziendali generali.
</p>

<p>
	All'inizio di questa settimana, Motorsport Games ha poi annunciato di aver stipulato un accordo con Motorsport Network, azionista di maggioranza, per un "accordo di scambio di debito in azioni" per rimborsare $ 1 milione di debito in base a una linea di credito esistente di $ 12 milioni con la società. Sempre lunedì, Motorsport Games ha annunciato di aver riconquistato la conformità con le regole di quotazione del Nasdaq poiché le azioni detenute pubblicamente della società superano nuovamente i 500.000.
</p>

<p>
	Non mancano però notizie negative: il 18 gennaio, Motorsport Games ha stipulato un accordo transattivo da 1,1 milioni di dollari con la Continental General Insurance Company. Motorsport Games è stata citata in giudizio per aver agito con intenti fraudolenti durante l'acquisizione di 704Games, lo sviluppatore della serie di giochi di corse NASCAR Heat.
</p>

<p>
	L'ultimo prezzo delle azioni di Motorsport Games è probabilmente causato da scambi speculativi e non da uno sviluppo di valutazione sostenibile. Poiché l'investimento previsto di $ 3,9 milioni ha un prezzo di $ 21,40 per azione, lo scenario più probabile è che il titolo si stabilizzi intorno a quel prezzo. Tuttavia, l'investimento potrebbe ancora fallire e far precipitare nuovamente il prezzo delle azioni di Motorsport Games. Tutt odipende dalla capacità di Motorsport Games di trasformare le sue operazioni commerciali e creare valore per i suoi stakeholder.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Con una nota sui suoi account social, il team Competition Company ha annunciato ciò che ormai era ovvio: la closed beta di RENNSPORT non vedrà la luce almeno fino agli inizi di Febbraio.
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/uploads/monthly_2023_01/rennsport.JPG.8cf421b4c457de507ccda1ae31bc20b3.JPG" data-fileid="52536" data-fileext="JPG" rel=""><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="52536" data-ratio="102.32" data-unique="exysxyc3x" width="733" alt="rennsport.JPG" src="https://www.drivingitalia.net/uploads/monthly_2023_01/rennsport.thumb.JPG.57bc29e6b93bc389382f065d248afb0a.JPG"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Il team teutonico nella stessa nota spiega anche il perchè del rinvio nonostante l'inizio del campionato ESL R1 sia ormai imminente: la build utilizzata per un evento esport professionale usa lo stesso framework della Closed Beta, con alcune eccezioni. Un evento del genere deve innanzitutto svolgersi su server stabili, mentre la Closed Beta deve poter permettere ai giocatori di creare i propri server e di utilizzarli contemporaneamente con altri server; inoltre in una Closed Beta il numero di giocatori su detti server è ovviamente molto maggiore rispetto ad un evento ristretto come un evento esport, il che rende più facile avere un gioco pronto se il tuo pubblico di riferimento è composto da una manciata di giocatori rispetto al totale.
</p>

<p>
	Gli sviluppatori ribadiscono che il gameplay è sempre al primo posto, e tutto il resto viene in secondo piano. Per questo il team chiede ai giocatori di avere solo un po' di pazienza affinchè possano rilasciare una build che abbia quantomeno le funzionalità online attive. ESL R1 fornirà agli sviluppatori un'ulteriore opportunità per testare e migliorare il prodotto.
</p>

<p>
	Il team si scusa con tutti i giocatori e ribadisce che si tratta di una brutta notizia anche per loro ma che troveranno il modo per ripagare i giocatori e invita tutti a seguire l'evento inaugurale a Katowice l'11 e il 12 Febbraio

	Ubisoft ha annunciato ufficialmente oggi <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/forums/topic/84631-the-crew-motorfest-annunciato-ufficialmente-da-ubisoft/" rel="">The Crew Motorfest</a></strong>, nuovo gioco di corse da parte di Ivory Tower che rappresenta il terzo capitolo della serie in stile open world. Il gioco si presenta con il primo trailer visibile qui sotto e arriverà in data ancora da precisare, ma entro il 2023, su PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One e Xbox Series X|S.
</p>

<p>
	"Motorfest consentirà agli amanti delle auto di realizzare i propri desideri più sfrenati di guida action, attraverso una serie di corse speciali, eventi a tema e altre sfide uniche", dice Ubisoft. Seguendo la strada intrapresa già dai primi due capitoli, anche The Crew Motorfest mette in scena corse su diversi veicoli in un vasto open world, in questo caso andando dalle Hawaii ad altre ambientazioni tropicali variegate.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Studio 397 ha annunciato che il content drop previsto per il 7 Febbraio è stato posticipato al 21 Febbraio: la causa è da ricercarsi nella mole di contenuti e feature in arrivo con questa build e il team ha preferito rinviare di qualche settimana per evitare brutte sorprese. Ciò detto l'update per le vetture GT3 con il relativo BoP è sempre previsto per il 7 Febbraio, con un'ulteriore rifinitura che verrà rilasciata il 21, in base ai feedback ricevuto dagli utenti.
</p>

<p>
	Quanto alla sorpresa: questo venerdì il team rilascerà un aggiornamento della release candidate attualmente disponibile che introdurrà quella che è forse la feature più richiesta da tutti i giocatori: la possibilità di gareggiare online senza dover necessariamente possedere tutte le vetture! Uno dei talloni d'Achille più evidenti di rFactor 2 era l'obbligo di dover necessariamente possedere tutte le vetture presenti in una determinata sessione per potervi partecipare, il che si traduceva in una spesa spesso elevata per vetture che probabilmente non sarebbero mai state utilizzate. Vista la novità così imponente il team ha deciso quindi di posticipare il rilascio della build per accertarsi che tutto funzioni nella norma

			Quite frankly, because of the sheer volume of things we are set to bring into this new build, we could do with a little more time to add the finer polish we need before we feel confident pushing out the update into the public domain – as such, we’ve taken the decision to delay our new release until Tuesday 21st February. That said, remain on schedule to deploy the GT3 update and BOP on Tuesday, February 7th, with a further refinement coming on the 21st based on community feedback.
		</p>

		<p>
			So, let’s tell you one of the big reasons why we want to delay… this Friday, we will update our Release Candidate with a new feature… the ability to race online against content you don’t own! Exciting as this is, we just need more time to polish it all up, and a few other bits, so we hope you don’t mind a little delay – I’m sure you will think it was worth the wait!

	Dopo aver annunciato oggi il nuovo update <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-update-in-arrivo-per-le-gt3-con-bop-e-tyre-model-aggiornato-r28493/" rel="">in arrivo per le vetture GT3</a></strong>, poco fa Studio397 ha annunciato anche un nuovo aggiornamento, che sarà disponibile dal 7 Febbraio, per la gestione dei pacchetti di auto e circuiti all'interno di rFactor 2.

		<p>
			Two announcements in one day, to start the week off right! Following on from our GT3 Update reveal earlier today, in this news update, we talk about something that many people in our community have been asking for within rFactor 2 – refined package management solutions!
		</p>

		<p>
			In reality, this has been a valuable exercise for Studio 397 as we continue to dig into the code of rFactor 2 to bring about changes that help us develop in new directions and add additional features and functionality over time. With the current system, we found ourselves restrained somewhat in how we move the core rFactor 2 experience forward, so we’ve spent quite a bit of time unpicking and refining much of the existing code, in order to allow us opportunities to improve how we handle current content ownership, installation and management within rFactor 2.
		</p>

		<p>
			For these new code change, we’ve been able to break up the content types in rFactor 2 to three distinct categories – Local Content, Steam Content and Store Content. By breaking out these three categories, we now have the ability to open up a number of user actions previously impossible with our existing code structure. Just like you could before with locally installed items, now we can present the opportunity for our players to see, install, uninstall and monitor update status of items purchased as DLC, or downloaded for free from the Steam Workshop.
		</p>

		<p>
			As an additional benefit, this new set of features gives us the opportunity to present more information on the status of content already installed within the title – so you can see what is pending updates, if things haven’t updated correctly, if items are in your library but uninstalled and a few other things we’ve yet to implement – but more on that another day…
		</p>

		<p>
			Fundamentally, these changes will also offer us quite a boost in terms of the overall speed of the rFactor 2 experience within the main UI. With this update, we have been able to prevent situations where the user is stuck behind a modal dialogue state within the rf2 UI, so for example, in the old system if for example a user purchases a large track like the Nordschleife, you’d be stuck in game with a locked UI waiting on a download bar for significant periods of time – this behaviour has been removed with these changes, as you can now elect to directly engage with the software while downloading, and on a similar topic, you can now launch rF2 without any game pause if you just want to jump in and do a quick race, as you no longer have to update your content when coming into the game by default.
		</p>

		<p>
			Granted, this isn’t the most sexy of improvements we’ve brought to the sim over the last couple of years, but we think this is a very important piece of groundwork we’ve undertaken for our continued growth and expansion – adding benefits to the end user right away, and putting us on a much stronger footing to allow development to take the direction we’ve planned out for the immediate future.

<p>
	L'aggiornamento tanto atteso dalla comunità è stato finalmente annunciato: il 7 Febbraio con il content drop Q1 2023 arriverà anche un sostanziale aggiornamento alle vetture di classe GT3.
</p>

<p>
	Le 14 vetture riceveranno infatti il tyre model aggiornato che produrrà un comportamento in pista più realistico, un nuovo Balance of Performance per far sì che tutte le vetture possano competere ad armi pari e tutti i miglioramenti introdotti nell'ultimo anno in rFactor 2, come controllo trazione e ABS migliorati, il nuovo motore audio e la protezione automatica in scalata.
</p>

<p>
	L'aggiornamento sarà ovviamente gratuito per tutti coloro che posseggono queste vetture.

			<u><strong>Key Improvements</strong></u>
		</p>

		<p>
			New Tyres
		</p>

		<ul>
			<li>
				Introducing the latest spec and technical understanding that has come to rFactor 2 in recent months, these new tyres provide a significant improvement of the behaviour of the car and the experience it will relay to the driver out on the circuit. Much like the GTE tyre update we launched last year, these changes have come about thanks to our latest gains in tyre technology, so expect to have to change both your driving style, and existing setups to accommodate the new experience.
			</li>
		</ul>

		<p>
			New BoP (Balance of Performance)
		</p>

		<ul>
			<li>
				Critically important for cars of this nature, the Balance of Performance has perhaps been one of the most difficult things to get right for this update – lots of cars, many different styles and a multitude of variables mean finding a good balance across the full grid takes up a significant amount of testing time and fine-tuning – something we feel we’ve got in a good place for this initial launch, although we aren’t afraid to dig back into the cars again in future should it become necessary to provide further tweaks down the line. One of the best parts of this BOP has to be the fact the new BMW M4 is now very firmly aligned with the car set, so no matter which vehicle you choose, you should be in with a solid chance of scoring good results.
			</li>
		</ul>

		<p>
			Traction Control and ABS Improvements
		</p>

		<ul>
			<li>
				Bringing the latest technologies introduced to rFactor 2 into this update was a key desire of the Studio 397, and thanks to the great strides made with the software throughout 2022, we’ve got quite a few of those to introduce! As many of you will remember, back in late 2022 we introduced a fully revised and refreshed batch of code updates for our of code for Traction Control and ABS features. These changes, developed to vastly expand both the complexity and execution of these two important aspects of modern race cars, have quickly proven to be valuable improvements to rFactor 2 – improvements we are delighted to finally integrate within the GT3 set of cars.
			</li>
			<li>
				Coupled with the tyre updates, the way you drive these GT3 machines has changed quite significantly from the original launch spec, bringing you a richer, more immersive driving experience that edges yet closer to how these cars should behave in the real world.
			</li>
		</ul>

		<p>
			Shift Protection
		</p>

		<ul>
			<li>
				Not sexy, often frustrating but absolutely critical in modern racing series – shift protection is here, and with it the removal of potential laptime gains from gunfire downshifts into a corner in order to find a ways to slow the car down quicker than is realistically feasible. Again, introduced during the Q3 2022 update, Shift Protection has been a great addition to rFactor 2, and one of the major physics features missing from our current GT3 offering of cars. Added to all 14 current GT3 models within the game, this is another small, but very noticeable change to the way our drivers can manipulate the car out on circuit.
			</li>
		</ul>

		<p>
			Sound Engine Compatibility
		</p>

		<ul>
			<li>
				This is a big one, and will probably be one of the first things you notice when firing up the update for the very first time. Since the massively popular introduction of the new sound engine last year, we’ve been absolutely desperate to get these wild and varied GT3 cars integrated fully into the new sound engine. As I’m sure we all know, GT3 cars sound outstanding in real life, and with the powerful opportunities our new engine offers, the audio experience of these cars in rFactor 2 has been something we’ve all been very excited to experience. As of this update, the new sound engine is now fully compatible with all cars, so why not take the opportunity to reacquaint yourself with each model, and bask in the glory of that beautiful noise bouncing around your virtual racetrack of choice in rFactor 2!
