Sulla scia di altri costruttori di automobili (Volvo, Ferrari, Mercedes e BMW su tutti), anche la Volkswagen ha pensato di accompagnare il lancio della sua nuova Polo con un software dedicato alla guida simulata, legandolo ovviamente ad un gustoso torneo online che mette in palio per il vincitore la vettura vera. Il Volkswagen Polo Cup è un gioco gratuito da 30MB, il cui obiettivo è l'equilibrio ottimale fra prestazioni e consumi, adattandosi ai vari problemi della strada, per poi registrare il proprio punteggio sperando che nessuno faccia di meglio...

Anche questa sera arrivano nuovi dettagli e gustose immagini dedicati al prossimo Forza Motorsport 3 della Microsoft: questo comunicato stampa, accompagnato da spettacolari screenshots, ci illustra infatti il nuovo tracciato di Catalunya e la categoria di vetture denominate Euro-Sport Compacts, fra le quali troviamo anche le nostre Alfa Mito e Brera e Fiat 500 Abarth.

Forza 3 in Limited Edition

Il 23 ottobre uscirà Forza Motorsport 3 in formato standard o nell'edizione limitata che vedete nell'immagine. Chi sceglierà quest'ultima, avrà diritto (oltre agli extra elencati più avanti) all'accesso "VIP" e contenuti extra come nuove decorazioni e settaggi per le auto. L'edizione speciale prevede cinque vetture bonus e l'immancabile packaging "deluxe" contenente una chiavetta USB da due gigabyte e relativo portachiavi, oltre a un'Audi R8 decorata da un fan della serie.

L'auto della settimana di Need For Speed: Shift è stata scelta: si tratta della McLaren F1, vettura dalla bellezza di 627 cavalli prodotta in soli 106 esemplari. Posseduta da celebrità in tutto il mondo, a metà anni '90 riuscì a vincere a Le Mans e a conquistare anche il terzo, quarto e quinto posto. Uno degli ultimi modelli è stato venduto per l'esorbitante cifra di oltre 2 milioni e cinquecentomila sterline. La software house Game Seed ha finalmente rilasciato oggi l'attesa versione demo giocabile del prossimo Truck Racing by Renault Trucks, un interessante simulatore che ci permette di scendere in pista con i potenti quanto spettacolari bestioni da rimorchio dell'omonima casa francese. Si tratta certamente di un titolo da provare con attenzione...

Dopo quelle decisamente squallide dei giorni scorsi, il team Simbin ha ripubblicato oggi tutte le recenti immagini di anteprima del nuovo Race ON ma in alta risoluzione, cosi possiamo apprezzare anche meglio la nuovissima Lada.

Ora è ufficiale: la prossima settimana sarà disponibile la nuova versione aggiornata dell'ottimo iRacing targato Kaemmer. Come potete leggere in dettaglio dal lunghissimo comunicato ufficiale, le novità in arrivo sono decisamente moltissime, a cominciare dalla Lotus 79, che potete anche ammirare in queste immagini inedite, due tracciati, il sito web rinnovato, la possibilità di modificare le inquadrature ed altro ancora.

VGP3: il mod Formula Fantasy 2009 è alle porte

Il rilascio del mod Formula Fantasy 2009 per Virtual Grand Prix 3 è ormai alle porte: con l'ultimo screen rilasciato veniamo infatti a sapere che la beta è ormai arrivata alla versione 0,99 e che sia la parte grafica che fisica sono state completate. Rimangono soltanto da fare i necessari test pre-rilascio. Ricordiamo inoltre a tutti che, benchè il mod rappresenti vetture di fantasia, la fisica è stata realizzata dallo stesso Paolo Cattani per riprodurre al meglio le vetture di Formula 1 del 2009, con tanto di kers. Se ancora non conoscete questo ottimo simulatore, cominciate a prenderci confidenza tramite la demo scaricabile dal sito ufficiale!
