Ayrton Senna Game by Reiza Studios

Con il comunicato stampa che potete leggere anche qui sotto, il team Reiza Studios, già noto per l'ottimo Game Stock Car, annuncia lo sviluppo del nuovo Ayrton Senna Game, titolo ovviamente ispirato al compianto campione di Formula 1 brasiliano tragicamente scomparso a Imola, previsto in uscita per fine 2012. Per ora non sono noti i dettagli del gioco, se non il fatto che utilizzerà un nuovo engine (presumibilmente quello del prossimo rFactor2) e che mira a riprodurre tutti i dettagli di quell'era magica dell'automobilismo. Una parte degli introiti del software saranno inoltre devoluti in beneficienza alla fondazione Senna.

Twenty years ago, on october 20th 1991, Ayrton Senna won his third world championship in Japan, bringing joy to millions of fans all over the world as he did so.
The overcoming of such great challenges and the intense battles fought out on track throughout that great season make up part of the Brazilian driver´s legendary figure, whose shine remains strong to this day. Now, for the first time fans will have the chance to virtually relive the Senna experience racing to the limits on race tracks around the world, as Reiza Studios is proud to announce a partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute to develop a new Game for Windows – PC. With the recently released Game Stock Car, the brazilian developer has already demonstrated its capacity to combine professional level simulation with first-class gameplay, in order to create the most realistic and immersive racing games.

The new project will see Reiza going beyond, combining a brand new Game engine with a meticulous research process – passion and technical perfectionism in the best Senna style, to recreate in all its details a magic era in racing, when Ayrton wrote his history. The new Reiza project will also have a social purpose, as part of the revenue will be destined to the various educational programs developed by the Ayrton Senna Institute all over Brazil, which every year benefits over 2 million children and youngsters with quality public education.

The Ayrton Senna Game is currently under development and is predicted to be released at the end of 2012.

Kart Racing Pro Beta 4 in video

Nell'interessante video di anteprima che potete ammirare anche qui sotto è possibile notare una delle novità più attese che arriveranno con la prossima versione beta 4 del già ottimo Kart Racing Pro, simulatore di guida ultra realistico dedicato al mondo del karting: appare infatti evidente la traiettoria della pista che si asciuga a poco a poco dopo un acquazzone con il passaggio di un abile pilota.

Racer v0.8.35 disponibile

Dopo una breve pausa, Ruud van Gaal ha nuovamente aggiornato il suo interessantissimo Racer, ormai famoso simulatore di guida gratuito ed open source. Per tutti i dettagli e per il download dell'ultima release 0.8.35 fate riferimento a questo topic del forum.

After quite some time, here's an update. Still needs things worked out before v0.9 though.

As for changes between this version and an upcoming v0.9, I expect only the audio pitch_scale to possibly change a bit in behavior (if at all), other than that the graphics are not likely to change anymore. I might have called this one v0.9.0RC1 but there's a few bugs (in Config.exe, and the menu selections) that are not too pretty (I need to remove some non-working items).

Notes:

- It uses the Lambo from Mr Whippy; I might not have had the latest version; this one gives a brake balance warning currently (admittedly a new feature)

- Next week I'll try and make a list of the things I still want to do for v0.9.

MUD The Game sfrutta la licenza ufficiale FIM per riprodurre quel Motocross World Championship che tante soddisfazioni ha dato ai nostri colori grazie al bravissimo Cairoli. Gran Turismo 5: la Spec 2.0 in video

Sony ha rilasciato un nuovo trailer per Gran Turismo 5, relativo in particolare alla Spec 2.0, l'aggiornamento disponibile dall'11 ottobre che va a ottimizzare una serie di elementi che finora avevano lasciato un po' perplessi. Il pacchetto aggiunge al gioco base undici nuove vetture NASCAR, miglioramenti dell'IA, maggiori possibilità per l'editor di tracciati, nuove feature relative alle corse in remoto e una migliore gestione del salvataggi, con particolare riferimento alle gare di resistenza.

C.A.R.S.: patch v0.75 disponibile

Direttamente sulla home page del forum di C.A.R.S. è disponibile la nuova Build PATCH v0.75, un upgrade da 20MB circa per aggiornare l'ultima Build completa del gioco v0.74. Non sono ancora note le migliorie e novità apportate da questa release di aggiornamento.

Need For Speed: The Run ancora in video

Viene svelato nel video qui sotto parte del background che fa da sfondo agli eventi del prossimo Need for Speed the Run, incentrato su una folle corse coast to coast da San Francisco a New York a bordo di vari bolidi, con tanto di sezioni al di fuori dell'auto. Ben visibili in questo video i due attori scelti da EA per interpretare i protagonisti, modellati sulle fattezze di Christina Hendricks (Mad Man) e Sean Faris (Vampire Diaries). Inoltre per gli utenti Gold di XBox Live è già disponibile la demo del gioco, che offre la possibilità di guidare una Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni sul tracciato infuocato del deserto del Nevada, per arrivare poi all'Independence Pass. Giocando in due, è possibile utilizzare la Porsche 911 Carrera S. Il pacchetto da scaricare "pesa" 1,20 GB.

Gran Turismo 5: nuovo DLC disponibile!

Rinviato per motivi misteriosi negli Stati Uniti, il primo e tanto atteso DLC per Gran Turismo 5 arriva oggi sul PlayStation Store europeo: i vari contenuti sono raccolti in un unico pacchetto da 11,99 Euro, mentre gli utenti Plus possono acquistarlo scontato a 8,99 Euro per un mese. Le novità riguardano 12 vetture, in gran parte giapponesi, e 3 kart ma sopratutto 2 nuovi tracciati di cui fa parte lo storico circuito di Spa (che supporta il meteo variabile). Nei DLC troviamo anche nuovi caschi per il nostro avatar e una collezione di vernici speciali.
