Check out this exclusive teaser of Test Drive Ferrari. Coming March 2012 to PC, XBOX 360 & PS3. Keep in mind this trailer shows an older work in progress version of the game and does in no way represent the final games quality. Enjoy some of Ferrari's greatest moments from the past 60 years with over 50 vehicles including classic and modern Street, GT and Formula 1 cars. Drive on the greatest circuits around the glode including Spa-Francorchamps, Nürburging Nordschleife as well as Ferrari's very own Fiorano Test Track.

No editing in any of these (fairly old) shots", ovvero "Nessuna modifica in questi screen (piuttosto vecchi)".

And so, Slightly Mad hopes to take on PC competitors like sims rFactor, iRacing, and netKar Pro. This is a much easier task, says Tudor, "given the fact that we have products currently in development -- one of them being Project C.A.R.S. -- that we believe can win that war."
"Most games are created in secrecy and then take two years to build; then you release them and hope you've made the right decisions and the game will be well-received," he explains.

Although the “new” Daytona International Speedway will be integrated into iRacing’s various online racing series in February, the service will continue to make the “old” Daytona available to members for use in hosted races and private leagues. The new version of the track will be referred to as simply Daytona International Speedway, while the older version will be called Daytona circa 2007 (the last scan date prior to the 2011 scan).
“We anticipate the new track being ready in February, certainly in time for the iRacing.com Daytona 500 which is scheduled for Feb 25th, the day before the real world Daytona 500,” says Tony Gardner, president of iRacing.com. “We are also rescheduling the iRacing.com GRAND-AM Continental Showdown and 2.4 Hours of Daytona races for mid-February and hope we can use the new track for those events as well.”

Gardner noted the new version of the track will not be in the 2012 Season 1 build, scheduled for release at the end of January. He also said that while iRacing’s “new” Daytona will include night versions of both the oval and road courses, Daytona circa 2007 will remain exactly in its current form, which does not feature night racing.

Build 129 (13/1/12, Team Member+)

Added a checkbox to clear your profile to the installer, PLEASE LEAVE THIS CHECKED FOR THIS BUILD, AS PROFILES NEED TO BE DELETED.... - please note: graphics config files are not being affected, so you won't need to reconfigure your graphics

Wheel convex shape vertices are precomputed on startup

Number of sides to approximate the wheel can be specified by integer, to allow for precision control e.g. machine speed

Freecam rotation now scaled by tan of half-FoV so that zoomed in movement feels appropriate rather than being over-sensitive

Added livery selection

FFB tweaks based upon early feedback (reduce centre spring under driving straight line, boost fine detail a little)

Dialled a little more weight back into the centre spring

....ISI aren’t just licensing historic cars and giving them to you to race around todays modern and sterile racing circuits; ISI are giving you historic cars to race on historically accurate racing tracks. Much like Grand Prix Legends, and for the first time since, you’re actually racing a historical car on the claustrophobic, astonishingly fast and absurdly dangerous circuits it was built for.
To me? That’s the difference, and that’s why people stuck to Grand Prix Legends: It wasn’t just the cars, it was the feeling of doing what those brave men did on the tracks they did it… That’s what I wanted out of rFactor 2....
