• Fixed an issue where players who qualified outside the top ten would not be able to change their tyres at the start of a race.
• Fixed an issue where players could not change their tyres on the grid after completing an earlier OSQ session on the same track.
• Fixed some framerate and lag spike issues that would cause incorrect car-to-car collisions.
• Fixed a bug that meant connections with limited upload bandwidth would appear laggy while on track and eventually disconnect.
• Fixed an issue where the race could be flagged as complete on the incorrect lap (including at the start of the race).
• Fixed an issue that would cause a players car to always be ghosted during timed qualifying sessions.
• Fixed a bug which made the screen pulse black when spectating specific cars in specific circumstances.
• Made the hopper lobby countdown timer longer and prevented it from starting for a short time if there are not many players in the session to try to allow more people to join.
• Changed the hopper grid order to random, so now the players Mercedes cars will not always start on the front row.
• Removed the AI from all hoppers.
• Removed the assist restrictions from the Hardcore hopper.

Era l'ormai lontano novembre del 2006, quando all'improvviso un topic sul forum dell'ormai mitico GT Legends (disponibile ora via Steam) rapì come per incanto migliaia di appassionati: il compianto Sigfried, un "vecchio pilota", come lui stesso amava definirsi, iniziò a raccontare il suo passato e le esperienze con il simulatore. Ancora oggi, dopo quasi 10 anni, si tratta di una lettura da non perdere.

E’ la prima volta che scrivo in un forum e devo dire che ho trovato molto interessanti gran parte di quello che scrivete. Io sono un “vecchio” pilota, sì uno di quelli che correvano con le auto di “Gt legends” e devo proprio confermarvi che non soltanto le auto, ma anche i tempi erano leggendari perché pur dopo lotte serratissime, ci si trovava poi la sera tutti insieme a mangiare, a scherzare, ed a prenderci in giro.
Ciò che ho trovato assolutamente sorprendente in questo simulatore è l’assoluta, incredibile fedeltà di feeling, al punto che è veramente difficile rendersi conto che si tratta soltanto di un gioco. Per esempio, nelle staccate più violente il retrotreno della Cortina Lotus prendeva a saltellare: bene la stessa identica cosa mi è capitata alla staccatona in fondo al rettilineo di Mondello Park.

Il team Slightly Mad Studios chiede un feedback a tutti gli appassionati e giocatori del suo Project CARS, con un mega sondaggione pieno di domande "delicate"... Come reputate la fisica del gioco rispetto a Gran Turismo o Forza Motorsport? E rispetto a simulatori come Assetto Corsa, rFactor o iRacing? E cosa pensate della grafica? Quali periferiche di gioco usate? E gli aiuti? E quale auto preferite? Le domande sono tantissime e le risposte saranno ovviamente utilizzate per il prossimo Project CARS 2. Commenti sul forum.

La Milestone ci propone oggi un nuovo trailer di anteprima del suo prossimo MXGP2, titolo con licenza ufficiale dedicato al motocross che sarà disponibile a partire dal 31 marzo prossimo.
