Slightly Mad Studios ci mostra i primi screens di anteprima della nuova Pagani Huayra BC, supercar inedita che sarà inserita nella prossima release Game of The Year Edition di Project CARS. Ma cos'è la Huayra BC? “BC” sono le iniziali di Benny Caiola, amico scomparso del patron Horacio Pagani, che tanto lo ha ispirato nel corso degli anni. Ed è anche stato il suo primo cliente in assoluto. Giusto, dunque, dedicargli l’aggiornamento di una vettura che si ispira alla Zonda R e la Zonda Cinque. A livello tecnico, però, è molto diversa: la BC è spinta da un V12 Bi-turbo da 750 cavalli sviluppato appositamente dalla AMG, la divisione sportiva di Mercedes, che in questi anni ha dimostrato tutta la propria esperienza riguardo alle prestazioni in pista.

Inoltre viene confermato ufficialmente l'arrivo di due nuove supersportive del Cavallino Rampante!

RD: Again keeping with the update theme I assume fans will be treated to another ‘Dream Pack’ instalment in future, could you share with us some clues as to what we may be expecting? Maybe a sneaky teaser image possibly (laughs)?
MM: A recent teaser unveiled the Ferrari FXX K, that will be part of a future pack also on PC, as well as the Ferrari 488 GTB, a real pleasure to drive.

Pre-Orders and Maintenance Mode Testing
Pre-Ordering is now available for the Audi R8 LMS, Mercedes AMG GT3 and Formula Renault 2.0. The primary reason we are introducing pre-orders is we have added some functionality to iRacing when we are down for maintenance. Beginning with the scheduled downtime for the Season 2 update, you will be able to load iRacing in single car testing mode when we are in maintenance mode. You will be able to drive any content that you have previously downloaded and is up-to-date. Don't worry, we'll make the downloader available while we are in maintenance on Tuesday so you can update the new content.
The new Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Car will also be available during maintenance. Because this is a FREE car there is no need to pre-order - it will automatically be available to download.

How Will Maintenance Mode Testing Work?
If you would like to be able to test the new content during maintenance on Tuesday you will need to do following:
1. Pre-Order any of the cars you are interested in
2. Update any current cars or tracks you wish to have access to prior to the maintenance window
3. Look for the downloader link that we will post at testdrive.iracing.com once maintenance begins and download the content you pre-ordered
4. While we are in maintenance mode create an account here: testdrive.iracing.com
5. You must use the email associated with your iRacing account when you create this account
6. After the download is complete and you have created the new account, you can simply select the car and track combination you wish to test on at testdrive.iracing.com

Once we have completed our maintenance this new testing will no longer be available - you will need to login to your member account as usual.
Don't forget about about volume discounts - purchase any 3 cars and/or tracks and get a 10% discount, purchase 6 or more and get a 20% discount.
Also, if you want to wait to purchase the new content until we are back up and running after maintenance, the purchase process will be the same as you are used to - don't worry, we won't run out of cars!

Known issues

• The game stutters during the first couple of generated tracks: this happens because it's generating and caching shaders
