Most gamers won't even notice swathes of the changes Codemasters has brought to the official F1 game, but a series of minor but significant updates have created a thoroughly engrossing experience - particularly in the career mode. Game director Lee Mather spent around 30 minutes telling an audience why F1 2018 will "make every season unique", but the real intrigue was in details such as Codemasters using real F1 data to overhaul chassis physics and to improve the depth of tyre management.

“Of course we'll have a career mode, the championship, a single and multiplayer system. But in terms of what's new, the rating system, driver profile, stats and the tutorials will keep players busy. Our aim isn't just to say ‘that's the game, here's the available cars and tracks, enjoy it.’ Instead, we want to keep players involved with the GT Series and all the aspects that the GT3 Championship can offer them. That includes providing the tools and information the players need to improve their driving style, consistency, and more.”

Hello LFS Racers, Today we have released a new update. After some disruptive attacks that took place recently we were forced to make our website and multiplayer systems more robust. As an update was needed, we took the opportunity to do a few more improvements, including some extensive changes to the layout editor. Over the last year and more we have been working on some major graphical improvements in Live for Speed. These are not included in this update. We plan to show some pictures of the improvements later this month. Read all about this update and how to install it on the 0.6T information page.
