Lewis Hamilton è fresco vincitore del suo sesto campionato mondiale di Formula 1, ma ultimamente è stato molto impegnato anche per qualche azione su Gran Turismo.

Polyphony Digital e Hamilton hanno lavorato insieme per portare una nuova modalità di gioco su GT Sport, in arrivo il 28 novembre.

La nuova modalità è effettivamente una prova a tempo uno contro uno, ma l'avversario da battere è molto speciale. Hamilton ha lavorato per ottenere i tempi sul giro in dieci dei circuiti del gioco e i giocatori devono cercare di batterli. Non sorprende il fatto che i giri veloci siano tutti stati realizzati con auto marcate Mercedes, con la AMG GT GT3 e la temibile Sauber C9 Group C.

Ecco di seguito le dieci sfide disponibili nella modalità sui seguenti circuiti:

Hamilton ritiene che i giri saranno molto difficili da battere. Durante l'evento a Monaco, ha affermato anche che se qualcuno lo avesse battuto, tornerà per fare giri migliori. Per aiutare i giocatori nella loro sfida, il replay avrà il fantasma di Hamilton insieme alla telemetria. 

Se riesci a superare tutte le sfide, sbloccherai il limite di credito nel gioco. Passerà da 20 milioni di crediti a 100 milioni di crediti, permettendo a chi ha bisogno di decidere quale delle auto da collezione iper-costose comprare. Non è ancora il black friday (ma gli sconti non mancano) e sicuramente non è tempo per una nuova roadmap, ma Studio 397 con un post sul suo sito annuncia i nuovi aggiornamenti disponibili per DLC e non.

Come annunciato nella precedente roadmap sarebbero arrivati nuovi layout per il Nordschelife: si tratta della versione Sprint, ovvero una versione più corta del GP-Strecke dove vengono saltate le curve Ford, Dunlop e Audi. Poi c'è la versione Sprint senza chicane finale, dove il terzo settore diventa più veloce con la sostituzione della chicane finale con una S abbastanza veloce e infine il layout Endurance che unisce il Nordschleife e il Nurburgring in versione Sprint senza chicane.

Aggiornamenti anche per la Porsche 991 GT3 Cup che riceve l'Endurance Package: diversi damper e 2 set di molle morbide rispetto al package Supercup. L'Endurance Package presenta anche l'ABS, un nuovo pacchetto aerodinamico e la possibilità di refueling, con il serbatoio portato a 95L invece di 100. Aggiunte anche nuove livree

Aggiornamenti anche per la Nissan GT500: nuovo material system, nuovo template e vari aggiustamenti grafici. Inoltre da oggi fino al 29 Novembre comincia lo screenshot contest: il vincitore riceverà un DLC a scelta. Maggiori informazioni nel changelog in calce alla notizia.

Nürburgring

First we’ve added the three new layouts we promised for the Nürburgring:

Sprint

‘Sprint’ is a short version of the GP layout, it detours the Ford, Dunlop and Audi curves, and instead swoops back quickly transitions into the Michelin curve. A great layout for quick races with high down force! 

Sprint No Chicane

Same as the ‘Sprint Short’ version but with a more flowing last sector. The chicane is replaced with a more flowing S style turn that making it a bit less technical. Also great for slower classes and quick sprint races, as the name implies.

Endurance

This is the monster layout you all have been waiting for. Used religiously in endurance series, this is one of the main events of the modern Nürburgring / Nordschleife calendar.

Porsche Endurance

The Porsche 991 GT3 Cup gets an exciting update! The Endurance Package, kitted out and ready for full attack on the Nordschleife.

The Endurance package consists of different dampers and 2 sets of softer springs, compared to the Supercup specification. The Endurance package also comes with ABS system and aerodynamic package: front fender flares + rear wing 10 mm gurney flap and restricts the engine power output to a nominal 413 PS. Additionally the Endurance package also comes with a possibility to refuel the car, with fuel tank capacity lowered to 95 L, compared to 100 L with the Supercup specification. The car also weighs 30 kg more.

We’ve also added a couple of new shiny liveries, notably one that our very own René Buttler drives!

By now a legend in it’s own right, the beastly Nissan GT500 2013 gets a full update to the new material system. And with that, we know for sure that some insane looking community liveries will surface out there in the wild.  So we thought, how about a contest to reward the best looking examples!

Contest Details:

Dopo aver pubblicato tempo fa la prima e la seconda parte, oggi Codemasters ci propone la terza puntata di video dedicati alla carriera di Formula 2, presente nell'ultimo F1 2019.

Nell'episodio 14 del podcast iRacing Downshift su Spotify Greg Hill, una delle figure chiave nello sviluppo di iRacing, ha rivelato una cosa che farà piacere ai simracers che popolano iRacing: con la nuova build (che vedrà anche l'arrivo del Lernerville Speedway) il circuito di Lime Rock Park verrà aggiornato con una nuovissima scan.

Greg ha specificato che non verrà riutilizzato nessuno degli asset presenti in quello che ormai potremmo definire "vecchio" circuito di Lime Rock Park, ma ogni cosa che vedremo sarà riprodotta da zero e verrà rilasciato gratuitamente per tutti.

Vi avevamo già riportato che DIRT Rally 2.0 era disponibile in versione di prova, ma Codemasters ha deciso di raddoppiare: anche F1 2019 avrà la sua versione di prova su PS4 e Xbox One.

Quindi se non siete sicuri dell'acquisto e volete provare il gioco ora potete farlo: i giocatori potranno avere un assaggio del gioco che per tre anni ha vinto il premio come miglior racing game ai TIGA Awards con l'inizio in Formula 2 e il primo weekend di gara in Formula 1. Durante le finali mondiali del FIA GT Championship 2019 che si svolgeranno dal 22 al 24 novembre a Monaco, gli eventi principali della Nations Cup e del Manufacturer Series saranno affiancati da diverse gare di esibizione e annunci riguardanti Gran Turismo Sport. Il 22 novembre si svolgerà una gara di esibizione Pro-Am a cui parteciperà nientemeno che Lewis Hamilton, recentemente laureatosi per la sesta volta campione del mondo dopo il Gran Premio degli Stati Uniti. Sarà affascinante assistere alla prestazione della stella della Formula 1 in Gran Turismo Sport. Kazunori Yamauchi, produttore della serie Gran Turismo, farà inoltre un nuovo annuncio riguardante la serie Gran Turismo. L'evento sarà trasmesso in diretta tra le semifinali della Nations Cup.

Alle finali mondiali verrà inoltre presentato un nuovo circuito: WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Questo leggendario circuito californiano è apparso in tutti i giochi della serie da Gran Turismo 2 in poi e tornerà più bello che mai in Gran Turismo Sport. L'appuntamento è per le finali della Nations Cup e del Manufacturer Series.

Sono in programma anche diversi altri eventi, come un Trackside Talk con Mazda e Kazunori Yamauchi, in cui presenteremo un bozzetto della MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT che sarà presente nel FIA GT Championship dall'edizione 2020.

Il 24 novembre, ultimo giorno dell'evento, verrà presentata una nuova Vision Gran Turismo, realizzata da Lamborghini. Progettato da Lamborghini per gli appassionati di motori e videogiochi, questo super prototipo virtuale prenderà vita.

Eravamo rimasti piuttosto sorpresi quando una voce della scorsa settimana ha rivelato il fatto che un altro famoso circuito stava arrivando su GT Sport . Un documento diffuso ai giocatori durante la finale mondiale di questo fine settimana mostrava che Laguna Seca faceva parte nella lista delle piste del gioco.

Ora sembra che il circuito sia passato da quella che fino a pochi giorni fa era una voce trapelata ad una vera e propria conferma. La notizia viene fornita tramite un tweet dell'account portoghese della PlayStation, che contiene un video promozionale per il World Tour di questo fine settimana. Il video è lungo solo 15 secondi, ma come potete vedere include delle scene del rettilineo principale e ovviamente il cavatappi:

Nel caso in cui non si abbia familiarità, Laguna Seca è uno dei circuiti più importanti nella storia di Gran Turismo. Il percorso a Monterey, in California, è stato il primo tracciato del mondo reale ad apparire in un gioco Gran Turismo, di nuovo in GT2 , ed è apparso in tutti i giochi fino a GT Sport. Dopo quello di Spa-Francorchamps, è uno dei circuiti più richiesti dai fan.

La Kunos Simulazioni ha appena pubblicato un nuovo trailer dedicato ad Assetto Corsa Competizione che ci mostra l'esperienza del test Lamborghini vinto da Kamil Franczak nel torneo SRO E-Sport GT Series. Il video include un'intervista, fatta anche ad Hugo Neira (ingegnere del team FFF) ed uno spettacolare onboard della Huruacan GT3 EVO.

Monster Games ha rilasciato l'update di Novembre qualche giorno fa accompagnato dal rilascio del (costoso) DLC, avvenuto oggi.

L'aggiunta più interessante sicuramente è la Competition Mode: in una gara veloce, settando la IA al livello più alto sarà disponibile questa nuova modalità che blocca alcuni settaggi per garantire una sfida ancora più difficile. E' stato aggiunto il Draft Slider che permette di controllare l'effetto scia. Sono stati fixati alcuni sponsor che non venivano visualizzati correttamente e infine è stato aggiornato il circuito di Sonoma per rispecchiare la configurazione reale ed è stato aggiunto un nuovo pilota nella Xfinity Series

Il DLC invece aggiunge solo nuove livree al prezzo di 10,79€. La lista potete trovarla nel changelog in calce alla notizia
