Su tutti i canali social dedicati ad Assetto Corsa è stata postata una foto molto esplicativa: si tratta di un teaser del circuito di Imola, molto probabilmente in arrivo su Assetto Corsa Competizione.

Viene difficile pensare ad una singola aggiunta estemporanea vista la politica di Kunos di portare campionati completi, che sia quindi in arrivo l'annuncio di un DLC dedicato alla stagione 2020 del GT World Challenge Europe? La stagione 2020 infatti presenta in calendario il Circuito Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola, oltre a tutti gli altri circuiti già presenti in Assetto Corsa Competizione, ad eccezione di Magny-Cours. Rimaniamo in attesa di ulteriori aggiornamenti.

Reiza Studios ha annunciato che domani pomeriggio sarà disponibile l'atteso update di Ottobre per il suo Automobilista 2. L'aggiornamento includerà le nuove vetture di classe GT3 e GT4 e sarà accompagnato dal rilascio del Nurburgring Pack, con il tracciato tedesco da Grand Premio. Gli sviluppatori sono invece ancora al lavoro sul Nordschleife, che comunque arriverà fra una settimana.

Nell'attesa ecco una serie di screens inediti. Vi ricordiamo che è attivo un server dedicato di DrivingItalia per provare online il simulatore di Reiza Studios. Cercatelo nella lista dei servers disponibili alla voce "DrivingItalia.NET"

Il tour intorno al mondo in 60 secondi svela salti mortali nelle miniere di marmo italiane, l'infida guida sul ghiaccio in Nepal e molto altro ancora. DIRT 5 è un'esperienza racing a tutto gas con oltre 70 percorsi in 10 località e 13 classi di veicoli.

Slightly Mad Studios ci parla oggi del primo pacchetto di espansione per Project CARS 3, un giveaway dei campioni di Formula E DS Techeetah, e condivide l'amore per la Porsche 917 con Alexander Schulz. Il pacchetto "Leggende" è infatti in arrivo, con 3 leggendarie auto giapponesi degli anni '90 (inclusi kit di conversione da gara completi) e dozzine di opzioni di personalizzazione. Il Legends Pack include anche un circuito gratuito per tutti i piloti di Project CARS 3.

Quali macchine? Ecco un suggerimento...
Nel 1989, in una fredda giornata di febbraio, una leggenda brasiliana si presentò a Suzuka per i test invernali e, mentre era lì, gli fu chiesto di provare una vettura stradale in fase di sviluppo. Dopo un paio d'ore spinte al limite, è tornato con un feedback.
"Non sono sicuro di poterti davvero dare consigli appropriati su un'auto prodotta in serie", ha detto con la sua solita riservatezza, "ma sento che è un po 'fragile".
Gli ingegneri, sbalorditi, sono tornati al lavoro e hanno suggerito di riunirsi di nuovo con il pilota al Nürburgring in primavera. Questo è il momento in cui il pilota brasiliano ha trascorso molte ore a testare e aiutare a sviluppare il feeling e la maneggevolezza di questa vettura, che è diventata  la più grande supercar del Giappone.

The Legends Pack Is Incoming

The first expansion pack for Project CARS 3, the Legends Pack, is less than a week away. It comes with three legendary Japanese cars from the 1990s (including full race conversion kits) and dozens of customization options. The Legends Pack also comes with a free circuit for all Project CARS 3 drivers.

What cars, you ask? Well, you’ll need to wait for the Pack to drop but—since you’ve taken the time to read this, here’s a hint…

Back in 1989, on a cold day in February, a Brazilian legend turned up at Suzuka for winter testing and, while there, was asked to test-drive an in-development road car. After a couple of hours pushing it to the limit, he returned with some feedback.

“I’m not sure I can really give you appropriate advice on a mass-production car,” he said with his usual reserve, “but I feel it’s a little fragile.”

The engineers, stunned, went back to work, and suggested they reconvene with the driver at the Nürburgring in the spring. Which is when the Brazilian driver spent many hours testing and helping develop the feel and handling of this car. When it was all said and done, it became, without any hyperbole, Japan’s greatest-ever supercar.

DS Techeetah in Project CARS 3 Giveaway

Porsche 917: Love at First Sight

Alexander Schulz, a 27-year-old from Germany who spends his days working on transformer stations, fell in love with the Porsche 917 back when he was kid playing a racing game. “Specifically, the short-tailed version without the additional wing in the middle only.” 

So what was the attraction?

“When I look at the car nowadays, it’s just … I like the overall shape when looking at it from the side, I like how the car remains flat, front to back, I like the small ‘lips’ at the rear. And above all, the car’s rear just looks incredibly beasty. The lower part has got only the chassis and the exhaust, with those enormously wide tires on the sides.”

Sounds like true love indeed—true love that was reignited when he found the Porsche 917 in Project CARS 3. Even better was when he discovered even more legends from that special period in motoring history in-game as well. “Cars like the Ferrari 330 P4 or the Ford GT40 Mk.IV are all so beautiful.”

Not surprisingly, his favourite car in Project CARS 3 is, “The Porsche 917K, and my favourite track is a tie between California Highway (I love scenic tracks) and Rouen les Essarts.”

So what is it about the classic race cars that make such an impression? “Hard to say, really. It’s just the way they look, they’re just so … ‘raw’? No spoilers, no canards, just the body shape itself.”

The Porsche 917 versus Ford Mk.IV versus the Ferrari P30 … now there’s a race to have online in Project CARS 3. Alexander himself has become famous online for his Porsche 917 pictography—we asked him which were his two best. He sent us these.

Ritorniamo a parlarvi del nuovo titolo motociclistico di Milestone: dopo l'aggiornamento di ieri, Milestone ha reso disponibile il primo DLC post lancio: si tratta del Valencia Pack.

Torna ad aggiornarsi ancora KartKraft, arrivando alla build 0.1.0.2655 che porta nuove migliorie e funzioni oltre ai consueti bugfix.

Tra le novità abbiamo il supporto al triplo schermo, l'opzione del meteo soleggiato e nuvoloso è collegato all'ora del giorno, alcuni widget dell'HUD (radar e live placings) possono essere nascosti e spostati con il mouse e da oggi è possibile assegnare input digitali ad azioni che richiederebbero normalmente un input analogico: quindi è possibile assegnare comandi come acceleratore, freno e frizione ad un semplice tasto.

Tra i bug non sembra essere risolto quello che permetteva di gareggiare solo contro 10 piloti controllati dalla IA invece di 15, quindi ci aspettiamo un nuovo aggiornamento a breve per risolvere questo problema.
