Il simulatore gratuito netKar ha ormai raggiunto anche fuori dei confini italiani un successo immenso, a testimonianza di ciò è il fatto che il noto portale di Racesim Central ha deciso di inaugurare la sua nuova sezione dedicata alle recensioni, proprio con una approfondita review dell'ultima versione 0.9.6 del progetto di Stefano Casillo: il giudizio finale è di un ottimo 4 su 5 che, considerata la release ancora beta e priva del supporto multiplayer, può definirsi entusiastico.

There's little missing from this game which you could possibly moan about, given what you get is free and a hobby project. I don't want to compare to other home-brew projects but I've tried some and my thoughts are clear - NetKar looks good, it sounds good, has the right cars (for me anyway) and most importantly this is where the fun is. Finally, some of the other options within the game allow you to setup your steering, gears and a whole range of bits and pieces that will no doubt impress the MotoGP player's community. If you are looking for a well polished game that provides hours and weeks of playing future then you must grab a copy of MotoGP 2. From the beginning of the game it feels like familiar territory with the look and feel of the real MotoGP Championship but after a couple of laps and hours with it you will notice an attention to detail and the outright sense of speed which makes it one of the best simulations on the market today. Even if you are not into the MotoGP Championship, watch it and then after you have played MotoGP 2, you will think you are alongside Valentino Rossi...

Well if you haven't got this on the console already, and driving games are what you know and love, then CM3 on the PC is and essential purchase. You'd think with so many CM titles having already been released this game would get stale but Codemasters seem to find enough new features and tweaks to add each time making it a worthwhile investment. As far as I'm concerned CM3 is the best driving game on the PC at the moment.
