F1 2020 Codemasters: patch v1.14 e Formula 2 2020 disponibili

Codemasters ha appena rilasciato per il suo F1 2020 la nuova patch v1.14 che apporta le seguenti migliorie:

• Aggiunti i veicoli della stagione 2020 di F2
• Risolto un problema per cui l’audio in francese e in spagnolo risultava non disponibile per alcune regioni
• Risolto un problema per gli utenti Xbox One X per cui l’audio si interrompeva in prossimità di altre vetture
• L’usura delle gomme ora è indicata correttamente quando si abbandona/si inizia una sessione
• Le previsioni del tempo nelle qualifiche ora sono corrette
• Le icone delle gomme sono ora allineate alla HUD dello spettatore a prescindere dal numero di giri completati

Inoltre è disponibile gratuitamente l'aggiornamento 2020 per la categoria Formula 2, che ci mette a disposizione piloti, team, grafica e prestazioni della stagione F2 appena conclusa con il trionfo di Mick Schumacher.

I giocatori possono ora competere con la line-up completa del 2020 con tutte le 11 squadre, auto e piloti.

L'opzione di gioco F2 ™ replica la sua controparte del mondo reale con 12 weekend composti ciascuno da due gare. Il primo, noto come Feature Race, segue un formato standard con i piloti che si allineano in base ai loro tempi di qualifica e punti assegnati ai primi 10 piazzamenti. La seconda, Sprint Race, vede le prime otto posizioni della Feature Race invertite in una gara più breve, con meno punti assegnati ai primi otto piloti. Per entrambi ci sono due punti aggiuntivi disponibili per il giro più veloce.

F2™ is the training ground for F1®, with many drivers including Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, George Russell, and of course, most recently Mick Schumacher, winning the championship before graduating into the pinnacle of motorsport. It’s also a spec series, which means that by-and-large, the cars are the same, and the emphasis is on the driver to make the difference on race day.

If you haven’t taken the 2019 F2™ cars out in F1® 2020, now’s the perfect time to try out the original F2™ 2020 calendar, with 12 weekends of two races each: the Feature race, which has a similar format to an F1® race, and the Sprint race, where the top eight positions are reversed and start from the back in a shorter race. The cars are also a little bit different from an F1® car. They have less downforce and no power steering, so if you haven’t taken any of the F2™ cars out yet, you’ll need to brake a lot earlier and be more cautious into the corners.

• Added the F2 2020 Season Vehicles - you can  find out more about  the F2 cars here
• Addressed an issue where French and Spanish audio would not be available for specific regions
• Addressed an issue for Xbox One X users where audio could cut out when near other cars
• Tyre wear will now correctly be tracked when leaving/joining a session
• Weather forecast is now correct in full qualifying
• Tyre icons are now aligned on the spectator HUD regardless of the number of laps completed
