After some years without releasing any mod, it is with great pride that PTSims presents once again exclusive content! This time around, the recently-released simulator Assetto Corsa was chosen as our platform. After many months of hard work by a big team, who started from scratch, we are proud to present the first mod of PTSims Modding Team: the Opel Adam Cup!

Released by the German brand in November 2012, the Opel Adam Cup is a rally car based on the road model with the same name. In Germany, the car has its own championship, named ADAC Opel Rally Cup. The PTSims version was based on this one but prepared, naturally, for tarmac races. The Opel Adam Cup is therefore a fun car to drive, which allows all kind of drivers, rookies or more experienced, to participate in funny and competitive races, because it doesn’t demand great changes in the car’s setup. The PTSims version has the following characteristics:

- Engine: Opel Ecotec 1.6

- Weight: 1031 kg

- Horsepower: 260 bhp @7500 rpm

- Torque: 190 Nm @5000 rpm

- Drive: FWD

- Gearbox: 5 speed, sequential

- Top Speed: 230 km/h

- Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds

- Fuel tank: 38 litres

- Available tyres: Michelin slick

As it is natural, this is the first version of the Opel Adam Cup, so there are certainly small bugs to fix and various improvements that can be made. Therefore, we ask everyone for some feedback! The mod is available to anyone, without exception, and we allow it to be publicized everywhere. However, no one is authorized to modify or convert the mod without authorization from PTSims.

Today we reached a point where we are discussing what the next step will be. For the moment we have a staggering amount of material, but have to be honest to admit that with the four of us and the time schedules we are running, it will be virtually impossible to release the full WSGT2 mod as planned. Even a few cars might become a problem with the current workload and free time. As friends, and as a Team we are now trying to come up with a few solutions. One of those solutions would be bringing more members into RMT. Admittedly we have tried that in the past, and it became clear that this is not as easy as it might sound. Its very hard to find passionate and committed modding enthusiasts.

If someone out there would hear the calling, and would like to join our little team, feel free to contact us. The attached gallery (about 600 screens) and video’s show you a small amount of material we have created in the past few years. While some material is a good 5 years old, we feel it still comply’s to todays standards. (Keep in mind that all videos are recorded in rFactor 1)

It would be a shame to let it all go to waste. So we are trying our best to come up with a solution that enables us to finish what we started. Thanks for listening.

Il team Formula Corsa ha rilasciato per Assetto Corsa la nuova versione aggiornata 0.9.5 del suo imperdibile FC2 2014 Mod, un progetto che ci permette di simulare l'attuale stagione 2014 del campionato cadetto GP2. La nuova release, che potete scaricare direttamente dalla nostra area files, ci offre notevoli miglioramenti e novità in ogni settore del mod, che richiede una installazione ex novo.

Dopo il rilascio della nuova versione 0.22 del simulatore di casa Kunos, sono ora disponibili le versioni aggiornate di numerosi mods: da non perdere è certamente la nuova versione 4 della bellissima Corvette C6R creata dal team UnitedRacingDesign, per passare poi alla v0.85 della divertente Seat Ibiza, e alla vettura prototipo Kutch 2000SL 2014, quindi, in attesa della nuova versione, un piccolo fix per correggere il crash della Mercedes F1 del mod dei Formula Corsa; inoltre sono state aggiornate anche le apps più interessanti, come ad esempio la Rivali OV1 Info, Rivali Tempo, Track Map, Tyre Temperatures.

Il team Formula Corsa Modding torna all'attacco di Assetto Corsa, rilasciando per il simulatore made in Kunos la nuova versione beta 0.3.1 del suo entusiasmante FC1 2014 Season Mod, un progetto che, una volta completo, ci permetterà di disputare l'attuale stagione del mondiale di Formula 1. La nuova release 0.3.1, dopo le già disponibili Ferrari e Mercedes, ci offre anche la nuova e bellissima Lotus. Per commenti e discussioni fate riferimento a questo topic del forum, mentre per il download del pacchetto da 242MB correte qui. Da segnalare inoltre che Formula Corsa Modding sta lavorando anche allo sviluppo della divertente monoposto Skip Barber.

Era nell’aria…..

E’ probabile che le continue conversioni da parte di altri modders dell’unico gioco ufficiale di F1 verso altre piattaforme ha destato comprensibili fastidi da parte dei produttori del gioco stesso. Peccato, perché sarà impossibile realizzare anche vecchie stagioni a cui noi siamo molto legati!

A questo punto non restano che 2 strade: ritirarsi oppure andare avanti, ci stiamo nel frattempo pensando.

In che modo però andare avanti? L’unica strada percorribile (non sappiamo ancora se del tutto legale) è quella di realizzare comunque le vetture, prive di loghi, sponsor e nomi appartenenti alla Federazione. Ovviamente dispiacerà non vedere il proprio pilota idolo guidare la nostra auto preferita nello splendore della sua vera livrea originale.

Tuttavia non è reato realizzare una livrea originale purché questa non venga sponsorizzata, pubblicizzata, postata pubblicamente sul web. Nella peggiore delle ipotesi, quindi ritiro ufficiale del nostro Team, è probabile che continueremo a realizzare i nostri progetti in via del tutto privata, ma non saranno ovviamente disponibili al pubblico sul web.

Per ricorrere ai ripari abbiamo anche modificato il nome del Team. La categoria classic sarà ribattezzata ASR Formula Open Wheel Classic per il momento, in attesa di prendere una decisione definitiva.

Le lavorazioni delle auto classic e moderne per le piattaforme rF2 e Assetto Corsa sono momentaneamente sospese! Seguiranno aggiornamenti.

Dopo una prima immagine che aveva già scatenato i primi sospetti, il team Enduracers ci conferma ufficialmente oggi il prossimo arrivo della spettacolare Maserati MC12, che sarà inserita nel già noto ed apprezzato Endurance Series mod per rFactor.

EnduRacers today confirms that the Maserati MC12 joins the grid of the Endurance Series mod. The car is under development and will be released together with the other cars unveiled since the SP2.1 release, in packages and platforms yet to be announced.
