Il noto modding team tedesco dei CTDP ha ringraziato tutti i propri sostenitori per il premio ricevuto dall'ottimo F1 2006 Mod per rFactor, per il quale è già in lavorazione una patch prevista per i prossimi due mesi. Inoltre ha annunciato che adesso si dedicherà completamente all'altrettanto atteso F1 1994 Mod, a migliorare due tracciati (Bahrain e Montecarlo), per poi passare anche al F1 2009 Mod...

In the annual voting the community can support their most favorite 2008-released mods. CTDP won two awards: Best Open Wheeler with 25.59% of the votes. Second was MMG F1 2005 with 12.25%, followed by Carrera 4's F1 1988 mod with 12.05%. Car of the Year with 22.06% of the votes, followed by MMG F1 2007 with 12.26% and once again Carrera 4' F1 1988 mod with 7.25%.

We are very happy and the whole team would like to express their gratitude about these results. We would also like to congratulate every winner each category and everyon participating in the MOTY. Every mod built is worth a notion and every modder deserves some words of respect. The MOTY is one way of showing this respect and we are extremely thankful for your support and your appreciation.
F1 2006 was teamwork. CTDP can only be as good as the people behind it and we would also like to thank everyone involved in the mod: our current members, freelancers and those who left. Everyone of them helped to make this mod what it is.

The Car of the Year mod is donated with a 1000 $ price. We haven't discussed yet, how to use it, but we will invest the money in the team, so that everyone can benefit in a way. Being a European Team, we wouldn't mind a better exchange rate though.

At the end, we'd like to do a small outlook on 2009. We are going to release a new version of the Bahrain Circuit in the first half of the year. Our second track Monaco is still in progress and will be for some time. As for car mods, work on F1 1994 has been picked up and we are working on models and textures. As with Monaco, it's too early to guess any release dates. F1 2006 will get a patch to version 1.1 within the next 2 months.

So in the upcoming year we will continue to bring you high quality mods, with our usual emphasize on realism and accuracy. Thank you for your support and we wish everyone a fast drive!

Il noto team americano iDT ha rilasciato per rFactor la nuova versione aggiornata 1.1 del suo ottimo Champ Car World Series Mod, un progetto che ci permette di rivivere in modo decisamente realistico la stagione 2007 dell'appassionante campionato a ruote scoperte made in USA. La patch porta con sè la consueta manciata di correzioni e bugfix.

v1.1 patch: fixes omni lighting, fixes suspension bug, fixes liveries, shortened rfm name, pace car drivable, and adjusts physics slightly. PATCH MUST BE INSTALLED ON A 1.0 INSTALL UNTIL WE GET A 1.1 INSTALLER. TO INSTALL: COPY FILES TO THE APROPRIATE FOLDERS AND OVERWRITE.
