While Klaas is working to get the WR LM94 into rFactor 2, its a good time to show you some more progress shots of the cars.textures and template. At this time i am focussing mainly on the cockpit. Its still pretty much WIP, but it starts to look as if its going in the right direction. You can expect some ingame shots early next week. Arnold is buzzy on the Lotus cockpit and preparing for a small RMT side project involving a very special car we all love on the real racing track, and had some oportunity to get some real live team support from them.

This is one of the two WR LM94 that participated in the 1995 edition of the 24 hours of Le Mans. The two cars, entered by Welter Racing locked out the front row but both cars did not finish the race. In contrast to most of the cars we’ve made, which are mostly big manufacturer outfits, Welter Racing is a real amauteur outfit. They represent the true spirit of the Le Mans 24 hour race. As usual, all is well at RMT.

I’ve been car painting for almost 14 years now. I started with GP2, joined the active community with GP3 and met with CTDP along the way. In addition to the last post about the changing times in the Modding community, I’d like to visualize that in my field of car painting and take you on a small history trip through the years.

Sicuramente da provare, per tutti gli appassionati di rFactor e di karting, il nuovo mod rilasciato oggi in versione 1.2 proprio per il simulatore made in ISI e dedicato al famoso e combattutissimo campionato del Rotax Max Challenge. Il progetto è assai curato sia a livello di fisica che di motore simulati, riuscendo in gran parte a colmare le lacune ben note dell'engine di rFactor rispetto al karting.

Prosegue il lavoro di sviluppo del F1RFT 2012 Mod per rFactor: oggi ci vengono mostrati alcuni spettacolari screens e renders della Scuderia Toro Rosso.

In attesa che arrivi settembre con il nuovo F1 2012 targato Codemasters, possiamo rispolverare il buon vecchio F1 2011 e scaricare il nuovo F1 1999 Season Mod realizzato dal team di Race Department.

This modpack completely converts the game to the 1999 season. Unfortunately, while we did start this mod back in October of 2011, we could not finish it due to the RaceDepartment upgrades, and certain members being busy. So while the graphics changes are limited, you can be sure it's still a great experience during the race, as all the teams and drivers (data files) are there.

Features:

• Helmets -- Four new helmets are included for the Jordan and McLaren teams.
  
• Liveries -- New liveries have been made for Jordan, Mclaren, Sauber, and Williams. Benetton and Arrows are using placeholder liveries, not from the 1999 season.
  
• New Drivers -- Race amongst the ranks of 21 new drivers!
  
• New Teams -- Compete for 8 new teams like Benetton, Prost, Stewart, and much more! (Includes Toyota from the 2002 season as a bonus)
  
• Driver/Team Strengths -- All drivers and teams are edited to match their skills and positions as close as possible to the 1999 season.
  
• Retirements -- Retirements have been fine tuned for maximum realism, based specifically to each driver, and track.
  
• Car Performance -- Each car has been modified in Power and Weight to match the real life performance.
  

Da non perdere, per tutti gli appassionati di GTR2, il nuovo VLN Series 2012 Mod, che ci permette di simulare l'omonima ed appassionante serie tedesca, includendo anche le spettacolari Mercedes SLS AMG GT3, Audi TT e Audi R8.
