A quanto pare la lunga attesa degli appassionati di periferiche di guida sta per terminare davvero: oggi infatti sul sito ufficiale della Fanatec è apparsa una immagine "coming soon" che mostra i nuovi volanti CSR Elite Wheel e CSR Wheel, CSR Elite Pedals e CSR Pedals, oltre allo Shifter Set. Per commenti e discussioni in merito, correte sul forum delle periferiche di guida e fate riferimento agli specifici topic relativi ai vari prodotti.

I am happy to announce that production of the following products is running in full speed:

Forza Motorsport CSR wheel

CSR Elite Pedals

CSR Shifter set

The first containers are already on the way to Europe and the USA and we will have inventory for the launch of Forza Motorsport 4 on October 11th.

That means we will start taking pre-orders for these products until supply lasts.The CSR Elite has just passed the technical approval of Microsoft so we can start the production of this model in a few weeks as well as the CSR pedals and the CSR Pedal Inversion kit. The CSR Elite got a new colour scheme with rubber coating on the full wheel rim and on the back cover. We also released the first pictures of the CSR pedals which will be introduced in a dedicated video very soon.

In occasione del GP d'Italia, la rete televisiva BBC inglese ha visitato il già noto simulatore della Red Bull (equipaggiato con rFactor Pro) per mostrare tutti i segreti del circuito brianzolo, grazie a due piloti d'eccezione come David Coulthard e Christian Horner. Il video che potete ammirare qui sotto ci mostra lo spettacolare simulatore dinamico, montato su enormi pistoni, che è stato utilizzato nell'evento dedicato agli sponsor del team McLaren Mercedes di Formula 1 presso la città olandese di Roggel, che ha visto protagonista Jenson Button per le strade del paese a bordo della monoposto 2008, come si può notare in quest'altro trailer. Vi sarebbe piaciuto essere i piloti virtuali di questo ordigno vero ?

Volante Ferrari F1 per il T500 RS

A sorpresa, oggi a Monza per il GP d'Italia di Formula 1, la Thrustmaster ha presentato un nuovo volante con licenza Ferrari F1 da applicare all'ottimo Thrustmaster T500 RS già disponibile da qualche settimana. Come si vede dalle immagini, lo sterzo è una convincente replica dell'originale volante della Rossa di Formula 1 di Alonso e Massa. Le prime informazioni disponibili ci segnalano un prezzo di 149.99€ per il volante, che in seguito sarà venduto anche in blocco unico con la base T500 RS.

Thomas Jackermeier della Fanatec ha annunciato che la produzione in serie dei nuovi volanti Clubsport Wheel è partita come da programmi. Dalle foto si può notare anche l'ancora misterioso sterzo di tipo GT, che per ora non è stato ancora illustrato nei dettagli: da quel poco che si vede dall'immagine, sembra essere lo sterzo di una Porsche... Thomas ha poi spiegato che dovremo aspettare ottobre per poter finalmente vedere e conoscere tutti i dettagli di quel Clubsport Shifter già preannunciato nel mese di giugno alla fiera dell'E3.

La tedesca Fanatec è alla ricerca di beta tester per il "collaudo" dei suoi nuovi volanti ClubSport Elite, che saranno compatibili non solo con il PC ma anche con XBox e PS3. Ecco tutti i dettagli per poter tentare di essere i primi a mettere le mani su questo nuovo prodotto:

Needs to be able to test on Xbox 360 and PS3

Bonus if you can also test on PC

Needs to be able to write a written review or video review

EU, Japan and USA participants only
