La Fanatec ha rilasciato due comodissimi e rapidi video manuali per scoprire tutti i dettagli, le configurazioni ed i "trucchi" dei suoi due eccellenti volanti: non perdetevi quindi il video manuale del CSR Elite e quello del nuovo ClubSport Wheel.

La Fanatec ha ufficialmente annunciato l'arrivo per il terzo quarto del 2012 del nuovo sterzo Formula Rim anche per il CSR Wheel. Il Formula Rim CSR costerà 179.95 Euro, non sarà identico a quello già apprezzato con il Clubsport Wheel, ma specifico per il CSR Elite: non avrà sgancio rapido, si potrà semplicemente agganciare come ci mostra questo video, i pulsanti funzioneranno tutti, ma non avrà i Led, il manettino è stato sostituito da un dpad a 4 vie, tutto per mantenere la compatibilità anche con la XBox.

This wheel rim is only available separately and as an add-on for the Forza Motorsport CSR Elite wheel. It features the same amount of buttons as the original wheel rim plus an additional 4-way joystick. Both joysticks have the same function on Xbox and PS3 but on PC it can be mapped with different functions. The grips are made with artificial leather which is easy to clean and feel great. Of course you will get the same robust metal construction and metal shifter paddles just like on the Formula rim for ClubSport Wheel. There is no quick release and the system is not designed to make rim changes very often. You need to unfasten two screws and unplug two cables so it is simple but it will take longer than the QR of the CSW. You also need to restart the wheel which means on PC you need to restart the game.

It is required to update the firmware of the base to make this rim work but this is not complicated if you just have a PC. The rim will be available in Q3 and sells for 179,95€ (inclusive VAT) in EU and 179,95 USD (excl. sales tax) in the USA. It is the only additional wheel rim planned for the CSR Elite at this point. We will now fully concentrate to make additional wheel rims for the ClubSport wheel.

Il nuovo nato, in casa Fanatec, beneficia di tutti gli sforzi profusi dalla casa tedesca e si presenta con un prodotto innovativo, ma conservatore allo stesso tempo: Ripropone la trasmissione a cinghia (la stessa che ha sempre contraddistinto i volanti Fanatec), aumenta la potenza con due motori e permette, per la prima volta, di avere una base adattabile, alle esigenze del simmer, attraverso il quick release, presente, nel panorama delle simulazioni, solo grazie al lavoro fatto da terzi, su volanti preesistenti come il Logitech G25/27 o il Thrustmaster T500R.....

La Simulaje ha realizzato e ha già reso disponibile un comodissimo sgancio rapido per lo SteelSeries SRW-S1 Gaming Steering Wheel marchiato SimRaceWay, cosi da poter collegare il volante alla base del Logitech G25/G27.
