After 3 or 4 years of stop start development, our new Speed7 force feedback steering development is now motoring ahead and we are confident that we have schedule to deliver a state of the art force feedback steering system that will redefine the genre, just as we did with the Speed7 pedal controls.

In this first release we will be setting out below some of the basic features of the system. We will be going into detail about the nature of the force feedback system and some of the new features it will have along with information about delivery dates, prices and pictures in forthcoming releases.

The key design features will be based around delivering a high quality, high performance, reliable and strong system that will form a platform for ongoing advances and add-ons well into the future.

The system will be launched as an entry-level model with then a range of features and accessories that can be added to this basic platform. At the entry level the system will have the following features:

„h Multi turn steering that can be set up to suit whatever type of driving simulation you use
„h Custom designed steering wheel
„h Up to 16 separate button functions on the wheel
„h Function selector switch on wheel to give multiple programmable button functions, a 5 way function selector switch will effectively give 80 separate button functions on the wheel
„h Independent gear lever paddles
„h Independent hand clutch paddles
„h New solid desk clamping arrangement
The Speed7 Steering control must operate with the Speed7 pedal controls

Avete grossi problemi di spazio in casa ed un budget non molto elevato da spendere, ma vorreste ugualmente un comodo supporto per il vostro volante e pedaliera ? Allora lo Speed della True Drive potrebbe fare al caso vostro !

Come avrete intuito dalla lettura della presente recensione il prodotto merità più che un'attenzione sia dai piloti hardcore che da quelli "della domenica" che si dilettano con Playstation et similia. Personalmente mi sento di consigliarvelo e visto il prezzo onesto dello stesso (€ 99,00) dato il prodotto che andrete ad acquistare, non potrete che essere soddisfatti dell'acquisto. True Drive ed Ugo in persona mi hanno assicurato che saranno sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi chiarimento sull'utilizzo del prodotto, è importante in questo periodo di acquisti via internet avere una persona fisica alla quale fare riferimento e che abbia le competenze tecniche per aiutarvi (anche se non credo sarà necessario vista la facilità di utilizzo).

F1DRIVING oltre che essere più vicino agli appassionati, strizza l'occhio anche alle aziende che vogliono trovare un veicolo di immagine per poter meglio catturare l'attenzione dei propri clienti. Nel mondo della comunicazione globale, diventa difficile imporre un marchio a dispetto di un altro se non colpendo in maniera dinamica e di forte impatto psicologico la clientela potenziale.
