It's time for the all important Qualifying session for the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual. The first broadcast of the weekend will showcase the 47 teams vying for the all important pole position. The race my be 24 hours in duration, but the front row on the LMP and GTE grids will provide the perfect springboard for the endurance classic around the Circuit de la Sarthe.
Qualifying for the final round of the Le Mans Virtual Series will consist of the usual 20-minute qualifying session for the GTE class, followed by a second 20-minute session for the top-flight LMP class. New for the final round will be a short-sharp Hyperpole to end the proceedings, as the fastest drivers throw it all down in the hunt for the lucrative pole position for the race tomorrow (14th January). Teams on the grid include the revered manufacturer-backed names including Porsche, Alpine, Brabham, AMG, Ferrari, Ford and BMW, alongside the very best sim racing teams in the world such as reigning champions Team Redline, Romain Grosjean’s eponymous R8G, YAS Heat Veloce, Floyd Vanwall-Burst and Proton Coanda Esports.
