#CONTINUE#

OK, here's the deal. If you look inside each car's veh file you'll see this:

1 //
2 // The first section defines what maps to load for the new vehicle skinning
3 // technology. The first line defines a "prefix" to be used for all generic maps.
4 // Currently, generic maps are used for the livery, wing, driver, driver arms,
5 // driver helmet, and pit crew. The second line will replace the default livery
6 // with the new specified, for the track specified. The format is as follows:
7 //
8 // DefaultLivery="PREFIX" // PREFIX is the base texture map name, assumed to be BMP unless specified
9 // PitCrewLivery="PREFIX" // This is only needed if it differs from the default livery PREFIX
10 // TrackLivery="TRACK, PREFIX" // TRACK is the track name as defined in the event GDB
11 // TrackLivery="TRACK, PREFIX" // For example, "2001_Monza"
12 // TrackLivery="TRACK, PREFIX" // You can have an infinite # of these lines
13 //

This is how it works, the TRACK in lines 10, 11, and 12 (the one in quotation marks) point to the TrackName in the event in the track.gbd. For example, if we want to add the no tobacco Ferrari for RH2003 for the Silverstone track, this is what you do. First you put the no tobacco .bmp into the Ferrari\2003RH_F2003GA folder and give them a PREFIX and rename the .bmps accordingly (ex. SilverstoneFerrari.bmp, SilverstoneFerrarihelmet.bmp, SilverstoneFerrariwing.bmp etc.). Then we open up the track .gdb file. Copy and paste the Track Name line to the .veh file for both cars (just the GREAT BRITAIN, SILVERSTONE part) and delete the coma (VERY IMPORTANT otherwise it won't work). Then add the PREFIX name that you are going to use. The top of each veh should look like this:

DefaultLivery="Ferrari"
TrackLivery="GREAT BRITAIN SILVERSTONE, SILVERSTONEFERRARI"

Now go back into the track.gdb, go to the track name line and delete the coma there.
From this:
2003RH_Silverstone
{
Filter Properties = 2003RH
RaceLaps = 60
Attrition = 4
TrackName = GREAT BRITAIN, SILVERSTONE
GrandPrixName = Silverstone, 2003
EventName = 2003 Foster's BRITISH Grand Prix
VenueName = 2003 Foster's BRITISH Grand Prix
Location = England, Towcester
Length = 3.194 m./5.140 km.
Track Record = Rubens Barrichello, 1:23.083
Qualifying

to this:
2003RH_Silverstone
{
Filter Properties = 2003RH
RaceLaps = 60
Attrition = 4
TrackName = GREAT BRITAIN SILVERSTONE
GrandPrixName = Silverstone, 2003
EventName = 2003 Foster's BRITISH Grand Prix
VenueName = 2003 Foster's BRITISH Grand Prix
Location = England, Towcester
Length = 3.194 m./5.140 km.
Track Record = Rubens Barrichello, 1:23.083
Qualifying

Now the car should change with the track. When you exit the track, you'll see that the car retains the no tobacco livery, it will change back when you go to a different track. It is very important that the TRACKNAME int the .gdb and the "TRACK" in the .veh match, otherwise the car won't change.
The advantage of doing this is that it puts your files in the vehicle folder instead of having a big mess of cars in the track folder.

The EA people should have given a better tutorial on how to do this. It's actually not that hard to figure out once you do it.

Hope this isn't too confusing. If somebody can explain this better please do.

In short stroke form it was fitted in the 553 and 555 chassis. The former was only used for a short time and was quickly revised after the drivers complained about its handling. This revised chassis was dubbed 555. The shape of the 553 earned it the nickname 'Squalo', which is Italian for shark. Its replacement had a similar shape and was referred as 'Supersqualo'.
Mercedes Benz and Lancia both used 8 cylinder engines and Maserati a straight six, all more powerful than the Ferrari. Only one Grand Prix fell Maranello's way, the Monaco Grand Prix.
Halfway through the season Lancia withdrew from racing. Ferrari bought all the D50 V8 cars and the technical team lead by Vittorio Jano. These cars were entered in the 1956 season as Ferrari-Lancia D50, replacing the four cylinder racers and were instantly competitive.
